Q: Hi all, I went on vacation and forgot to turn my water heaters to vacation! When I returned the water was cold coming through the faucet. After some investigation I realised the water heater pump had tripped the trip switch on the main electric panel. I reset it and thought all would be fine. Now it is OK for a day or two and then it trips the electric panel again. Any Ideas on what is the matter and how I might fix it? The water heaters themselves are fine and are burning all OK. Many Thanks!

Q: Pump suction and pressure side road why should vacuum table and pressure gauge, and what role they have?
The vacuum meter is used to measure the vacuum degree of the water pump before the water pump pumping, and to a certain degree of vacuum, the water can be sucked into the upward pressure position of the pump.A pressure gauge is used to indicate that the pumping is pressure in the pipe. The size of the pressure is related to the lift head, pipe diameter, atmospheric pressure and so on.
Q: What's the meaning of a single-stage pump?
In fact, the simplest difference between multi-stage pumps and single-stage pumps is that more than one impeller and one impeller can be summarized. The so-called single-stage pump is the pump inside only one impeller pump, so that we can be referred to as a single-stage pump, which is characterized by the head is not high, but the flow rate could reach thousands of square per hour, the typical model is the ISG type single-stage centrifugal pump. The pump is a pump body which contains a plurality of impeller pumps, pump is characteristic of such a large flow and high lift, traffic can be thousands of square kilometers to the head, but the cost is not low, customers should be chosen according to the actual parameters.
Q: What is the 10KV pump unit?
10KV should refer to the motor start voltage value, ultra high voltage start, the general pump more than 160KW of the motor, the voltage used in 6KV, you motor should be more than 300KW
Q: PROline Dishwasher has Broken down, after a detailed Examination of the appliance we have managed to conclude it is the Water Pump, I'm looking to find a new one to repair it myself but would like to know if any make one would fit, as Finding a PROline Water Pump has proven Great Difficulty, Any Knowledge of the matter would be greatly appreciated, Thank you
Unless you are sure that the problem is the water pump, you might want to check the hose to make sure it isn't clogged up and not allowing the water to drain out correctly. If you do need to change the pump, you will most likely have to replace it with the same pump. If you haven't done so, try going on line and enter your dishwasher make, model, and enter water pump and see what you can come up with. If your washer is an older model, it is possible it is no longer being made and it might be difficult to find parts for it. You might also try calling around in your local area to some appliance stores and ask them about finding the part or where you might find the part. You could also contact a repair service and just ask them if they can find the part for you if you are going to fix it yourself. If the pumps are still being made, any appliance repair service should be able to get you the part. If you can find a store that sells that brand of washer, they to should be able to get the pump for you to.
Q: 1998 Toyota Camry 4-cyl.Engine starts and runs, but makes a horrible, random clunking sound that seems to come from the water pump area. Coolant was seeping from front cover, appeared to be from water pump area again. engine idles, but wont rev up at all.My guess is that a bearing let loose or a vane broke off the water pump and is bouncing around inside, triggering the knock sensor which pulls out all of the timing, not letting it rev. Sound right? If that is the problem, what all is involved in replacing the water pump? Its my roommate's car, but I told him I would fix it if possible to save some money. I'm a fairly competent mechanic, but I don't have the best setup here while I'm away at school, so any info on how involved this will be, how many hours of labor is listed for that, or anything to watch for from someone who has had a similar problem before would be greatly appreciated.
If you are going to do this, have him buy a book at the auto parts store.
Q: My dads needs a new water pump for his '83 Silverado v8, anyone have a DIY or a schematic or know of where I can find one? Maybe someone could tell me how. He's pretty handy with cars just doesn't know what needs to come off and in what order. -Thanks in advance!
remove the fan shroud , then the then belt, then the fan. drain coolant then remove hoses from pump. then the water pump .. it is a 2 hour job at most . can be done as little as a hour if you have the right tools and understand the job. you will need special too to remove fan. rest is 10mm 13mm , 14mm or 15 mm bolts .. press clamps need pliers or flat screw driver to remove clamps .
Q: I put the new water pump in and the metal tube that goes to the heater hose it is hitting the wheel that holds the 3 belts that goes onto the water pump. why is it doing that. got the right pump. I have a 1986 firebird V6. any ideas?
the wheel that holds the 3 belts that goes onto the water pump is called the pulley. You may need to check the old water pump for a spacer between the pump and the pulley. If the tube is not straight you may need to turn it some. Verify that you are not putting the pulley on backwards. Although the auto parts store claims that it is the right water pump, they may be wrong, and may have given you the wrong one. To find out lay the side that goes against the engine on a flat surface next to the original to see if the height is the same for the shaft that the pulley goes on. If you cannot solve this you may want to take both water pumps, the pulley, the bolts that hold the pulley on and the tube for the heater hose to the auto parts store and ask them. Often they have some experience in automotive repair and may be able to show you...the main difference between them and us is they will be able to see the parts, and we cannot.
Q: Every time i turn off the engine i hear like liquid noises behind the dash board in the drivers side. My fan isnt working properly but i just took a trip...4 hours away.. on the highway the temperature would be fine but on regular streets my temperature goes high pretty fast..i have been putting anti freeze pretty often lately because it goes low but there is no signs of a leak anywhere. Could it just be that my fan isnt working properly or is it because the water pump is going bad? or both? I have a 93 Toyota celica
Not it's because you have a cracked cylinder head. Does the exhaust spew out a lot of white smoke? Edit: Having a blown head gasket does not explain the missing coolant. If you had a misfire or the engine was struggling a little then yes the head gasket would explain that. If you've never seen white smoke from the exhaust or under the hood, then I would say it is because the fan is not working properly. The gurgling that you hear is the boiling water going from the radiator to the reservoir tank. It is probably overfilling the reservoir tank and evaporating as well.
Q: overheating.it has a new thermostat,radiator is clean.temp stays normal during idle,rises when i start to drive.ac is off when this happens.its a 4.7 dodge durango.can water pump simplyquot;go badquot;without ever leaking?
if it,s circulating then the water pump is doing its job. does the fan kick on? maybe 1 of the hoses is closing up when your driving. usually when the bearing goes bad in the pump it takes the seal out too and starts to leak.
