- Q: I've bench pressed for many years and encountered this problem over the past 2months.During my first set I will get pretty intense pain in my right bicep.It will be fine after the 2nd set but never the less it is very uncomfortable, could lead to joint damage and reduces how much I can do on my chest during the session.How can I resolve this problem?Why is it happening?
- Well first off it could be from any number of things, now you say you have been lifting for years so im sure you know that the tricep is the secondary muscle when benching, however depending on how wide your grip is, and what the position of your arms are at the bottom of the press can put more strain on muscles other than your chest and tris, therefore your biceps could be called in to the press, ask someone to watch you and when let them know when the pain starts, is most intense, and when it starts to go away throughout the rep. then try moving around your grip and and relying on stricter form and have them watch you again and see if the point of pain changes, lessens, or increases. None the less you should talk to a sports injury specialist, NOT YOUR GENERAL PHYSICIAN, nothing against them, but those that are in the sports medicine field study specifically that.

- the best way is too do push ups. It simulates the bench press with your body weight. If you can not do a push up normally, build up to them by putting your weight on your knees and doing the same motion. Also, dips help if you have 2 bars somewhat high off of the ground. They mainly build your tri's but they help with your chest also.

I am going to a one direction concert in the summer and really would like to bring my camera. - You have three problems here: 1) Your age works against you, as the first answer said 2) It is likely that you won't be allowed to bring a DSLR into a concert. 3) By the time you're old enough to be looking at a concert photography job, One Direction will have been long forgotten...fortunately.

- There can be a big difference in a m2m full court press and a zone full court press. It depends on how the zone press is going to work. There are many versions of a zone press. Now as far as giving you websites... I could give you all sorts of websites, but it will not help you instruct your players unless you have an understanding on how to break a press in general. If I were you, I would be an assistant to start out with and let someone who knows the game coach the players. I have coached basketball for 15+ years and have seen alot of coaches who think they know what they are doing and wind up getting beat by 20+ points every time they put their team on the court.

- There should be a ridged part of the bar its like Put ur hands thumbs length to the outside of the length part, and tell your spotter to lift the bar when you count to 5. So count 1,2,3,4,5. As soon as he's lifting it take a deep breath and slowly bring it down to you're chest, and push it all the way up. Breath Out, Then bring back down, and repeat, etc.
