My question is then this: is pre ground coffee (ex. fresh market Christmas blend) from the store not a good idea to put in the French press? I do not have a coffee grinder and am not planning on buying one.

- This all depends on your skin type and the powder type. Powder has many uses. Setting foundation, preventing shine, covering redness, and preventing streaking. There are different types of pressed powders. Some are more organic or designed for sensitive skin, so if you worry about acne I would suggest this kind. Some pressed powders are a bit thick and give that dreaded caked look. If you have dry skin I wouldn't recommend powders at all as it can give a flaked look or some times make your skin look dull. Also, if you have a lot of things to cover powder probably wouldn't work alone that well. Remember to keep powders light on the face and always always always wash off makeup before bed. - I have EXTREMELY oily skin. Most powders don't work for me high end or drugstore. MAC has to be among the worst. Does nothing for oil control if you are truly oily and it oxidizes, clogs my pores and breaks me out. The only powders that I've found to work are: -Jurlique Rose Silk finishing powder -Jurlique Citrus Silk finishing powder -CoverFX Matte FX oil absorbing powder -Youngblood Minerals Organic Rice powder (loose or pressed) -Origins Silk Screen powder -Tarte Micronized Clay finishing powder with pm20 These all keep me matte over 6 hours on a very hot/humid day. Most powders that I tried before these only lasted half an hour or an hour at most so this is amazing. They're also never broken me out or irritated me. They look/feel natural, never cakey or setting into pores/lines. When I use Boscia oil free Daily Hydration SPF15 or Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean oil control lotion followed by PLAIN milk of magnesia + Skindinavia No More Shine before foundation and powder or before just powder, I remain matte all day no matter how hot/humid, not even one touch up necessary.

- okai pressed powder is better for the 1st time you apply on the make up, but if you need to touch up your make up you must used finishing powder. so your make up wont look so thick and sometimes uneven. btw you need to clean the oil on your face before you touch up your make up.

- You may be using the wrong terms to describe what you're trying to do, but based on what you've asked, there's nothing you need to press to erase your computer's memory on start up. Memory requires continuous voltage to keep data stored within its matrices. When your computer turns off or reboots, the voltage to your computer's memory is interrupted and effectively wipes it clean. I can't imagine you're talking about wiping the data off your hard drives (*not* 'memory'), since this would wipe out Windows/Mac OS... It did just hit me that you may be looking to erase your browser's cache (cookies, history, etc.) to keep other people using your computer from seeing which sites you've visited. In Firefox, you can do this by navigating to Tools Clear Recent History. You can also download, install, and run a program called CCleaner to clear all browser private data for Firefox and Internet Explorer, as well as locally stored search information (such as searches you've run for files on your computer), temporary Windows files, and other similar information.
