Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q: i was thinkin i needed rings cause my car was smokin like hell and had a bad compression test on one cylinder. anyways i got the head off and my valves are caked with black **** all down one side and the others are completely white. i dont know if when the car turns off if they're supposed to seal but four of them were about a quarter inch off the head. before i tested everything i was smokin like hell and barely runnin and you could hear a knockin sound in the exhaust at the rear of the car. could the head be the problem or still sound like rings??
thats the oil being burned...its either bad rings thats why ur burning oil or bad valve guides...a ring will fail first before the guide
Q: Hi....my boyfriend is currently waiting to have heart valve replacement surgery and im a little worried about the whole thing...he doesnt like talking about it but if someone knows the answer to my questions I'd be so greatful!!First of all a little detail....he is 19, as far as i know he was born with this problem with his valve but it has got worse over time. he was also born with a hole in his heart but had an operation as a baby to fix this. he gets short of breath and often has pains in his chest. he says hes going to have a pigs heart valve to replace his, by open heart surgery (in a few months time). my main worry is whether the operations are always successful? and will this condition/operation affect his life expectancy??please if there are any experts in the field help put my mind to rest....!thanksshelly x
Open heart surgery is always a risk, as is any major surgery. The main risks are from infection and blood clots. The risks taper off very quickly within a few days after the surgery. Heart valve replacements are a common operation, with a high success rate. Life expectancy is generally better with a valve replacement; but not all valve problems reduce life expectancy to begin with. Sometimes the trade-offs are more of an issue with quality of life, with higher quality achieved with a functioning heart valve, so some people may be taking a medical risk to obtain higher quality of life. No one can tell you for certain what the outcome of this operation will be. The odds are very high that everything will go perfectly and he will fell better than ever before. There is a very small chance that he will end up worse To put the risks in perspective, a person i know had minor surgery to her knee - a simple 1 hour operation done at an outpatient clinic. Ten days later, a clot broke loose and she died in her sleep. I have had the same operation twice and didn't even miss more than a few hours of work. Another person i know had severe heart problems and docs said it was terminal, but an operation could prolong his life maybe 5-7 years. He had the operation and its now been almost 20 years and his cardiologist says his heart is healthy and there's no reason why he might not live another 20 years or more.
Q: I believe my EGR valve is bad. I am having symptoms of a bad one. If I unplugged it and took my car for a drive would the symptoms improve, if in fact it is a bad EGR valve?

Q: okay, so i have a 2003 cr125 that i wanted to trade for a 4 stroke bike, and i found someone with a 2006 kx250f that wants to trade. He said all the bike needs to be running are 4 valves. The bike is in very good condition from the pictures i saw. How much are the 4 valves going to cost if i bring it to a mechanic shop? is the trade worth it? or should i just keep looking? thanks!p.s.- my cr is in absolute mint condition, and i never even rode it because it is just to much bike for me and i am not use to 2 strokes
below $one hundred. I had mine adjusted final year at a broking and it value $seventy 5. yet ask them what they think of once you're taking the motorbike in so which you dont pay for some thing it dosnt prefer!
Q: and i want to but over size valve seatscan i do it in a 1991 chevy chenynne k2500
I am assuming that you are referring to a small block chevy or similar engine. Valve seats occasionally crack where the two exhaust valves sit side-by-side. This is the only part where the two exhaust valves are next to each other; the others are separated. This causes high heat in this area and can fatigue and crack. You will need to replace valve seats on the heads which involves boring out the existing seats and installing new ones. You will then need to have new valve angles ground in so that the valves seal properly. While you are doing this I recommend putting in new valve guides, or in a worst case scenario bronze liners (this prevents the start up smoke). To do a set of heads properly you are probably in the neighborhood of $1500 plus and that does not include the removal and reinstallation. If you can I'd recommend a set of World Products SR Torquer heads, you will save money and increase performance. There are also a number of other good aftermarket cylinder heads out there, so the only limit is how much you want to spend. Good luck.
Q: Where is the fast idle valve located on the dx or ex model year 89-91??? I found the fast idle on my si model but its different on the base model for some reason.
base models have no fast idle valve. if the rpm are going up and down inspect the water level in the system and have it bled. there might be air in it. if you are messing with the timing or adjusting the idle you are doing something wrong. do not adjust the throttle cable to adjust the idle. it will throw off the tps sensor. use the idle screw. if adjusting idle at the idle screw or timing don't forget to jump the ECU or you will waste your time. btw you know that the IACV needs to be unplugged when adjusting the idle right? no punn intended just checking.
Q: I have an above ground water pump. there is good pressure(40), but the pump does not stop. Pump co did diagnostic test and said that foot valve needs to be replaced. The company charge me $399 for diagnostic test and and about $2200 for the foot valve replacement. It is reasonable.
Sounds outrageous to me. Besides the price I don't understand how a foot valve would cause the pump not to stop. Basically all a foot valve is, is a one way valve that allows the water to be pumped out of the well, and closes when the pump stops to keep the water from returning to the well. Maybe there is extenuating circumstances that would make the bill so high. A deep well would be more expensive than a shallow well, because there are two pipes to pull and they are much longer. It would be interesting what the invoice says the individual charges were. Parts, labor, etc. $2,599 should be enough to replace the whole system pump and all. Unless of course this is something like an irrigation pump. Good Luck
Q: Sohc ZC (d15) honda I'm going to be painting my valve cover am I going to need new seals? What do I need to take it off and put it back on ? Please help I have the high temp sand paper all ready to go I just want to be ready
You need to make use of heat resistant paint that is made for engines. Make certain that the valve cover has been cleaned very good with Acetone until all oil has been eliminated. Do not get paint on the gasket floor or your will have leaks where the gasket sealer fails at the paint. Most auto materials outlets have the high warmness paints in spray cans in plenty of colors. Simply be certain that you've got removed all the oil residue from the valve quilt and then paint it and let dry completely before reinstallation.
Q: fisher control valve
For any pnuematic control valve the operating pressure is from 3 to fully opened at 15 psig. It means a pnuematic control valve opens fully at 15 psi and closes at 3 psig. To calibrate it,prepare the following, one mercury manometer 0 tp 1000mm,Hg, one air pressure regulator for 20psig supply and air hoses,3 to15 psi output gauge, micrometer screw pressure regulator and air pressure supply. Prepare a Tee with the air supply at the center.Connect one leg to the mercury manometer and the other equalizer leg to the control valve and a tee on top of the valve and an output gauge connected to the tee.. Both the manometer and control valve should receive equal pressure from the pressure regulator. A 15psig pressure is 775 mm mercury . So, set the mercury manometer to an equivalent of 15 psig,775mmHg, and prepare a table of equivalent pressure from 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15psig. The valve should be fifty percent open at 9 psig and 25% open at 6 psig, likewise, it should close at 3 psig and 75% open at 12 psig fully opened at 15 psig. The pressure variation may be done with the micrometer type pressure regulator at the pressure supply.
