Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q: We have a 2008 grizzly 700...Lately when we run the 4-wheeler there is a ticking like noise (as is something were loose). I have been told by a few people that it sounds like the valves need adjusting. Does that sound like what it is? Will it cause any damage to the 4-wheeler if we ride it before we get a chance to adjust the valves?
They are correct. Well almost. The Rockers are what can be adjusted. They are too far away from the valve and are starting to hammer on them instead of just moving them. You will not cause immediate damage by riding it but you could wear out the rocker completely and drop a valve into the engine which would be very costly. Best to get it repaired soon. Make sure they install new rockers and springs. The main cause for this is poor oil maintenance or poor grade of oil being used. Always use a GOOD synthetic oil and your motor will last 10 times as long
Q: okay, where the dome is on the head (where the flat part of the valves sit) the intake is uneven and the air+gas mixture escapes threw the open space when the piston goes up into the compression stage, and ignites shooting flames out of my exhaust port. the space is small but u can see light threw it when the valve sits there. Would some kind of Liquid metal work? or gas+heat resistant epoxy work to take the place of the missing space? I would file it but that would not be precise and time consuming, and i would buy a new head for $150, but the dealer doubles that price! and no way am i paying $300 for a new head. any comments would be well appreciated!
take bike to dealer and get it fixed right.
Q: Carbon keeps building up in the EGR valve. WHY?? and HOW DO I PREVENT IT? The engine is in PERFECT shape otherwise.
If your problem EGR Valve is AC-Delco, it can be cleaned and will work like new and save you the cost of buying a new one. Also, I was told by a local auto-repair shop that EGR Valves have a LIFETIME Warranty... so if you have your receipt take it back for free replacement. If having to purchase a new one, Save Your Receipt. If your problem EGR Valve is aftermarket, replace it with a new AC-Delco. Aftermarket EGR Valves are crap and cleaning will not fix the problem. Same with fuel pump... install AC-Delco ONLY. 1995 Chevy Blazer 4.3
Q: 1990 5.7l with a .470 lift cam , is there going to be a clearance issue between the valve guide and the valve. Is the rocker going to bottom out on the guides and bust my heads.. If so what should i do.
difficult factor. query on to search engines like google. that will can assist!
Q: My new Trek 1000 has a type of valve stem different from the standard (car type) stem on my mountain bike. Do I need an adaptor to fit it to a pump or do I need a whole new pump? Also, have you seen a tire gauge that fits this stem type?
It okorder /
Q: Just bought car used. It is an 88 Toyota Corolla Fx. It is leaking and loosing a lot of oil. The EGR valve is spraying pretty badly. All hoses are fine. Seems to be in the seal. Is this the possible fix I need to solve these problems? Cleaned and inspected engine for other leaks and found none. Please help. Very poor and highly motivated to fix this car up.
Hello, The EGR valve will not spray oil, It is an exhaust gas recirculation valve that does not have oil get to it!! Please add more info so we can better answer your question . Thanks for additional info. But I don't think you know what the EGR valve is. Engine oil should not be spraying from the EGR valve ! Maybe you are trying to describe another part? Also, You need to fix the wheel cylinder or caliper before you can bleed the brakes. Maybe you need a mechanic to assist you. Good luck !
Q: This valve has flow indication embossed on their body.
Gate valves are used primarily for isolation, usually not for flow modulation. They are usually operated fully open or fully closed. Installing the valve with the arrow pointing in the direction of flow will have more to do with the tight sealing of the closed valve than with the operation when open. If the valve is to be installed in a pipeline where the flow is in either direction, pick the direction most important for good sealing. However, I do not recall seeing a flow arrow on a conventional gate valve.
Q: I have an 07 mazda 3, I-4 with 16 Valve. Anyone know what 16 valve means?
This Site Might Help You. RE: What does 16 Valve mean? Mazda 3? I have an 07 mazda 3, I-4 with 16 Valve. Anyone know what 16 valve means?
Q: I have several stations in my automatic lawn sprinkler system. Each station has a valve that contains: 1. Manual Shutoff, 2. Flow Control Knob, 3. Solonid, 4. Anti-Siphon valve. Any way my question is this, Why does water continue to flow even when the manual shutoff is turned off and the flow control is also turned off?
the guy above me got to it before i did. sounds like either a diaprham has just gone out, or the solenoid plunger is stuck, or there is a rock or something inside the valve, not closing it all the way. like trying to close a door with your foot in it. it will not close all the way. A word of advice would be to go ahead and replace the anti-siphon valves with regular inline valves. anti-siphon valves are pretty much junk any type. As far as diagnosing the problem now, 1. check your timer's programming and make sure that its not sending out power to this zone all of the time. ( this would make the timer bad). 2. carefully open the valve up ( with the water turned off of course), and inspect the diaprham. if it has any tears or ripps in it, get a new diaphram, if not, then flush the lines out with the valve open to see if any debris is in the line( rocks pipe pieces, etc.) and clean it out. 3. take out the solenoid and make sure the plunger in it is not sticking. ( if so replace the solenoid). 4. if all else fails just simply cut out and replace the entire valve and plumb in a new one properly. personally i would use either Hunter PGV valves, Rainbird DVF 100 valves, or Irritrol 205 series valves. all are inline models. antisiphon valves tend to fail. i work on sprinkler systems full time for 95 $ per hour of labor for our company. hope this can help you out John A
Q: I went look at a car, and the guy selling the car said that the engine valve is leaking. Is this a big deal? How urgent would it need to be fixed? How much would that cost?
No, the valve cover can't cause that. You're check engine light is probably disabled by the same *** that cut your catalytic convertor off. Thanks for cutting off your cat a polluting so you can drive your stupid truck around. Screw everyone as long as you can go squirrel hunting or whatever you do in that truck. It's hard to say what's wrong with it because you have negated the computers ability to control the fuel flow properly. It could be the mass airflow sensor or maybe a stuck fuel injector. Even with the computer whacked, a real mechanic should be able to figure it out pretty quickly if he has the proper diagnostic equipment. You may want to just change the O2 sensor anyway as it probably hasn't been changed for quite a while.
