Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve
The body of ball valve is full welded,selects high quality forged material,and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body.This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others,and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter,lighter and stronger.Besides,the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing,makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball.The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.
Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball
The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion,and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements.When plate adopted,the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium,but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve.The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium.This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves,and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used,and the cost is cut down.
ball valve seat is floating structure,means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.

Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.
（Ⅱ）Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring,set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded,which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat;When there is pressure generated from medium,the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference,thus the second seal forms.When the medium pressure is rising.It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.
（Ⅲ）Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction,the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition,medium requirement,seal requirement,etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve,installed on the body,which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force.When secondary seal is required,there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring.The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball,and then stop the leakage.

- Q: 1995 Firebird - with digital EGR valve, I think when the engine is at idle, it would be closed, I think.Anyway, this EGR valve has 3 holes that open up whenever.I noticed that the plastic housing on them is melting a little, which probably isn't anything.but I felt around it, and I feel a little air coming out, not from the gasket part, but maybe it has a leak in one of those solnoids somewhere.My cars been idling really ruff, do you think a leak in that would cause it to idle ruff?when I drive, it's fine, runs smooth, but stopping it idles ruff.I just bought that EGR valve 2 years ago, I don't know why it would melt.
- Take the EGR valve off and see if it is internally caked with carbon. Also look at the ports it lines up to on the plenum and see if they are also clogged with carbon. If they are, remove the air intake tube from the throttle body and open the throttle plate. See if the intake plenum is also clogged with carbon. If so, and I think it is, you will need to get yourself a cumbustion chamber cleaning. Those 90s GM cars were bad for this. This will make it idle rough, and also lack as much power as it should have.

Anyways..my question is: after its replaced what do I need to do to reset the codes or computer? Someone told me to unhook the battery for a hour and that will do it???? Is this true? - ok first are you sure the egr valve is really bad the ports in the intake could be carboned up so the valve cant work I only say this because you say the egr valve has been cleaned twice well if the port in the valve was restricted then the ports to the valve are going to be restricted take the valve off and run a piece of wire thru all the ports and take some carb clean wash it out really good let the cleaner evaporate before you start the car put your egr back on and retesting as far as the codes go you may need to have the codes cleared some of these have a KAM keep alive memory disconnecting the battery may turn the light out but not clear the code good luck
- Q: One of the zone control valves in my heating system does not appear to be working. The thermostat is calling for heat, but no water is flowing. If the other thermostats call for heat, the valves seem to open as the pipes above the valve get hot from the water flowing through. The one that appears busted gets luke warm at best. All 4 valves in the system are fed from the same pipe, and the failed valve is the third in the series of 4 along the pipe (and #4 flows fine) so it doesn't appear to be something in the feeder pipe.Is there anything I can do to try and fix the existing valve, can I replace the valve myself? Would replacing the valve top of the valve (the green/gold portion) possible fix the issue (maybe a problem with the operation of the piston? Is there anything I ahve to do before removing the valve top aside from removing power to the valve?
- You would need to isolate the valve from the line, and depressurize the system, and I would think that turning off the heater and letting the temperature fall would probably be necessary if you don't want a relief to lift in the boiler. If you make a mistake here you have a very good chance of being scalded to death, or permanently scarred. Also, you may need to sweat and braise the new valve with a torch, so you had better be sure you know what you are doing and don't burn your house down.

I turned the red handle valve to off as well but same thing. I am totally thrown off. HOt and cold water still comes out of faucet. When I push the faucet handle down, the water does not stop right away as well but slowly stops. No problem water into dish washer. I have replaced numerous faucets but I can not figure how water is still getting to the faucet after turning all 3 valves to shut off position. I still think it might be the faucet but now I am not sure. I am close to calling a plumber but really do not want to do that. thx
- I have been starting to have the same problem with my Hot water-- however I had a new hot water tank installed 6 months ago-- when the issue started I contacted the Mfr and was informed that in my tank there are anti-siphon devices-- sometimes referred as thermal anti siphon valves-- at the cold water inlet and the hot water outlet of the tank and if the water connections were not made correctly these devices may prevent the water from leaving the tank as they may be sticking-- when I have low or no flow on my taps after 20-30 secs I will hear a banging in my pipes and then the water flows no problem--hope this helps---
- Q: I have a 2001 Ford Ranger with a 4.0 V6. I recently broke the valve cover bolt on the top right hand corner of the passenger valve cover ( the bolt closest to the belt). 1. Can I drive it like this and since 7 of the 8 bolts are in it should it leak worse. 2. How do I fix it, and 3. How much would this cost to have fixed if I took it somewhere. Thanks for your help
- easiest to just remove the valve cover completely and then there might be enough of the broken bolt left to get a pair of vice grips on it and unscrew it out, go to parts store and get a new bolt and a new valve cover gasket and reinstall.If you drive the car the way it is it might leak a little oil around the broken bolt.
