Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q: what are the best aorta heart valves. mech. or animal.
Depending on the valve, the original valve may be able to be repaired. This procedure has only been widely used 8-10 years probably. Originally it was believed that these like animal (pig or cow) would probably only last around 10 years but it is constantly being adapted so longer may be possible. Animal valves do not require blood thinners, although many people I know have ended up on thinners because of other problems. The other advantage is that they are quiet. Mechanical valves, often called metal aren't always truly metal. Older valves were thus a scan using an MRI was not possible. Mine was put in during 1995 and is called metal but does not cause any problem with an MRI and I know others from that time frame also with no problem. I expect it to last my whole lifetime and I never needed any anti-reject meds and few people I know have. I do tick like an old watch especially when I get winded or tired, but over the 13 years I've had it only one person outside of medical professionals examining me have ever noticed. It doesn't keep me awake but I do know some people who notice theirs, but the newer the quieter. I do have to take blood thinners, but for me and most of those I know don't have major problems maintaining a therapeutic level. You have to have a blood test routinely to know but they now have a finger prick machine so it is quick and easy. I only know of one person whose body rejected valves and had to have it removed and animal placed in. From those I know usually children they will do tissue just because a child won't be as careful and watchful of bleeding. Otherwise it is choice based on years wanted from the valve and lifestyle if meds fit and eating habits.
Q: Among butterfly, ball, needle and gate valves which is used mostly in pneumatic system?
It depends on what sort of system you are operating. Most butterfly valves leak, a few don't. Ball valves are instant operation, and don't normally leak. Needle valves are used for fine control of the flow rate. Gate valves are quick to operate, and don't normally leak. On aircraft pneumatic systems, butterfly valves are common, where a leak is permissable. Where no leak is permissable, slide valves are used, which have rubber seals.
Q: I have a 1997 ford aerostar and my mechanic just called me and said that the pop off valve needs to be replaced, but it is attached to the line so the hole line has to be replaced to. I want to try to find the pop off valve to see if I can get it b/c he can't find the replacement part, what I need to know is what it looks like. or where it is on an aerostar, because I have 5 more sitting in the driveway and I can look for it.
Well, for AC, you can have the old school R12, that looks like a tire valve. New school is high and low side R134. These 134 ports are usually located on the fitting that is crimped to the hose. A new hose would be the only option. If you have the old R12 style, they sell an adapter for $5 that will convert it to a 134 high side.
Q: Are these valves are a kind of heart chambers pressure sensors? What is keeping them interlocked 2x2?
It's all mechanical. The valves are passive things kind of like a screen door. When you push on them from one side they open, when you push on them from the other they close. The valves are assisted by some fibers attached to the inside of the heart similar to the way a screen door is helped by a spring attached to the door frame. It's the flowing blood that pushes the valves open or closed as the heart pumps. The path that the blood follows in the heart as it beats happens to make it so that the valves close two at a time. This is because the heart is actually four separate pumps that work two at a time. There's no direct electrical connection to the SA node. The only way they're connected is that the SA node firing is what causes the heart to pump, causing the blood to force the valves open.
Q: My new Trek 1000 has a type of valve stem different from the standard (car type) stem on my mountain bike. Do I need an adaptor to fit it to a pump or do I need a whole new pump? Also, have you seen a tire gauge that fits this stem type?
You can buy a little adaptor that screws onto the valve stem so that you can use your present pump and gauge with this type of stem. The adaptors cost about $1 or so. Get two because if you're like me, you'll lose one.
Q: what exactly is thc pcv valve and what does it do
i don't know much about them. i had to get one replaced in my car a few weeks ago.. i knew i had to replace it bc my car made a farting noise whenever i turned left.....
Q: What is a foot and check valve what's the difference between the two?
Foot Check Valve
Q: how hard is it to clean the egr valve on my 2002 Chevy Malibu? if you can give step by step or possibly a website/YouTube video link. thanks
Cleaning it could make it worse then your experiencing now, but if you want to here's the steps. There are two bolts holding the EGR val;ve down. Remove them, and use a can of carb cleaner to clean the carbon out of the two ports that are in the valve. Reinstall with a new gasket and run the car. If the check engine light comes on replace it. I recently got a EGR valve (not recommended but they work) from a local wrecking yard for my folks '99 Venture 3.4 ltr motor, replaced the one on the van because it was throwing the EGR code and it worked fine. No more check engine light.
Q: The water shut off valve that is under my sink in the bathroom is leaking and I need to replace it. I am wondering if I need soder the new one or can I just put some thread tape around it.
TURN THE STOPCOCK OFF OUTSIDE ..DRAIN WATER OUT OF THE TAP AND REPLACE WITH NEW ..
Q: Hi all,My buddys ford 460 has stuck valves. Where do I start? Could I notice anything by removing the valve covers, or do I have to remove the heads? Is it possible to unstick them without removing the heads? Assuming they stuck from sitting. What's the chance it bent the pushrods if it was running when they stuck? Can I check this without removing the heads? I'm not too familiar with this engine.
a valve stuck in the open position when cranked by a starter motor can put a hole in the piston it depends on which 460 7.5L you have some are flat top some are popups where centers are raised ive seen both in stock motors motorhead is right you can free them but you'll wanna soak them down constantly for a week or so remember they didnt get like that over night DO NOT crank over with starter use bolt on balancer as you'll feel resistance should you encounter a stuck open valve its so much easier with heads off but you can see the guides by removing valve covers if your valves are stuck your guide seal are junk trust me
