Q: can they be quiet? I was thinking about buying one sense we seem to have an outage every winter. Q: I have a generator overseas and it has been giving me problems. It ran for 7 days, died due to over heat. fixed that prob, now it wont start, gives me a code 0097 01, water in fuel. but the sensor is good, wires read good. At a brick wall here.: I looked online and this company makes everything from small gas driven to large diesel driven. You say the code is for water in the fuel and if it's diesel water would ruin the injectors so it very well could not allow it to start for that reason. At a minion you need to tell us a little more. Did it shut its self down for the over heat or did it size and shut down? that is a good point to start with.

I think the system's have to be properly grid tied, i.e. either installed by or inspected by someone from the power company. Q: I have a Diesel generator using leroy sommers alternator and which uses intelilite MRS 11 controller , it is 380 V , 50 Hz , yesterday i started having problems , after running the genset for like 12 seconds it shuts down and i get two error msgs the first one is : Shutdown Level for Phase 1 under volts the second error msg is : Shutdown Level for Gen voltage Unbalance .in the first 12 seconds the voltage on 3 phases got no problem and after 12 seconds the generator auto shuts down and i cannot seem the find the problem , any help will be appreciated: As a rule of thumb, the first alarm is the one which triggers the rest, so, concentrate on that one. If you have only one phase with a low voltage alarm, a) there is a short somewhere on that phase. Check the phase currents before shut down. If everything looks ok , probably a generator winding is shorted. b) Check the phase voltages before shut down, if everything looks ok, the relay is faulty, have it checked. -

Q: i found a 1998 dodge ram 2500 with turbo diesel Cummings motor, and people tell me that Cummings is the best to get why is that? would $3300 be worth it for this truck?: well cummins is the best when it comes to pickups. they've been proven over the years with making good motors. Their warranty is good (on ohe engines) you just can't beat them. and depending on the milage and wether it's a 12 or 24 valve you cant beat a CTD. I love minebut if dodge went to cat I'd trade it off in a heartbeat. if it's a 98 4x4 there's a problem with the truck. and if it's a 2wd the milage is through the roof. which is alright i guess. a cummins will run for AT LEAST 500k until it needs an overhaul. it's your call but i'd be suspicious when it comes to 3300 for a 98 12 or 24 valve. they shouldn't be that cheap.
