- Q: I enjoy baking as a stress buster and I was curious if using a cookie press was difficult in any way (including clean up). I've never seen one in use, but thought it would give my cookies a unique appeal since I don't know many people who use one. I adore those old fashioned, European style cookies.
- No, they are not difficult to use, you just need to practice a little. I bought one last year at Christmas time, So I will give you a couple of tips: 1) Use the recipe that comes with the press. They made the machine, so they know what combination of ingredients will work best with their machine. Some cookie doughs are too stiff, some are too buttery etc. to work in the press you buy. After you learn to use the press, you can try adapting some other recipe. 2) Chill your cookie sheet. The dough will absolutely not stick to a warm sheet, which will cause you undue frustration. Chill it for a few minutes before you cook your first batch, but more importantly chill it between batches. I like to rinse mine with cold tap water until it is cool to the touch, then dry it really well and stick it in the freezer for a few minutes before making a second batch. 3) Get a good quality cookie press. I got a Wilton because it seemed easier to fill and it comes apart completely for cleaning.

- When you say press, i assume that you mean a press to handstand. Try it with a spot first, and then get the spot to be lighter and lighter. Or you can try doing them against the wall. Or try starting with your feet higher, like on a low beam or something. They will defiantly help with cast to handstands, because they use pretty much the same muscles and action. Good luck

No, there's no difference in quality between a $10 press and a $20 press. The pros of using a press is that the natural oil in the coffee is not strained through a paper filter, so you get more flavor in your coffee, if all goes well and French presses are great for camping, since you don't need electricity-you just need a gas stove, a kettle, and boiling water. The cons of using a press is that you have to use a coarser grind as a finer grind will cause the screen to get clogged and you'd get grounds in your coffee and since you have to grind the coffee coarser, you need to add more beans as adding what you normally would will cause your coffee to be watery; the oils naturally found in the beans, which are not filtered out, can cause your cholesterol to go up if you drink too much French press coffee. Here's how to use one: 1) Put the kettle on 2) take the plunger out of the press 3) grind the coffee beans 4) pour the boiling water into the press. Wait until the last minute before grinding the beans, or they'll go stale. When the water boils, put the grounds into the press and then pour the water into the press. Let the coffee steep for about 4 minutes, shorter or longer, depending on your taste. Don't press down the plunger until the coffee is done steeping. After your coffee is done brewing, then press down the plunger. Enjoy your French press!

- chilly pressed = greater virgin the olives are seeded/pitted, then pressed w/o any warmth. that's chilly pressed ror EV. as quickly as that around has been executed, they collect up the squished olives, upload warmth, and press returned. greater oil is released using warmth and better rigidity. that's in basic terms olive oil.

- Use a smaller frying pan as a press in a larger one. Then grill it in a greased pan. Almost as if you were nesting the pans together. It works best if the small frying pan is hot as well, as you can do it in one quick process, without having to flip anything. You do have to deal with a hot pan though, so oven mitt time. Cast iron pans of course. I use the lid of my dutch oven in a big skillet.
- Q: Do you really need to buy a 4 color printing press to print more than one color on a shirt? Can't you just buy a 1 color printing press, do the first color, take off the screen, put the next screen and do the second color? Third color?
- You can defiantly just use a single colour press, however this will take up a lot more time and also reduce the quality as it will be difficult to align the press in the same position as the previous colour, this would probably contribute to a lot of waste too. It would depend on your clients, are you going to have a lot which are after 3 or 4 colour printing or are you going to be catering for those who are after fewer colours?
