- Q: I am a 20 y/o male ectomorph body type 130 lbs 5'7. I have been working out for about 2 years but probably only started getting serious with compound exercises with high weight, low reps, for about 2 months.I have already seen alot of improvements by doing more compound exercises vs isolated ones. I do squats, deadlifts, clean and press, dips, chin ups, etc, but when it comes to the bench press.... I just feel flat out weak. I am doing 5x5 for my sets/reps. I can only put a 45 on the bar and barely get it up 5 full reps. It's been like this for awhile. I feel strong everywhere else but for some reason, my bench is weak and my chest shows it.Any recommendations?

- Q: I had to press 5 different types of leaves from my yard for part of my science project. I put newspaper, then the leaves, then a little more newspaper, then my english textbook, a dictionary, and a gallon of water. I let it sit for a week. My results:Australian bottle tree, Australian willow, kumquat bush, and lemon tree leaves worked perfectly.But... the ficus leaf (still got flattened and everything) is BROWN!What happened?I need to know ASAP so I know if I should try the ficus again or do a different type of leaf. I only have time for one more round of pressing before the project is due!Thanks :)
- Ficus plants are always a problem when pressing. The main reason is that they have latex in their tissues and many of them have relatively thick leaves. Not only do they turn brown (or even black) but the leaves usually drop off the stems. There are a few ways to make good Ficus specimens but the ones I've heard of require alcohol (enough to dip the plants in) and you'd need to be able to apply dry heat to your press for a few days at least. So, if you don't HAVE to have a Ficus, use something else (weed from your lawn would be easiest).

- i personally don't think that the gov't should get involved with our freedoms as american citizens. we (as a whole) should be able to respect and not abuse the rights that we have. thus NOT giving the gov't a reason to use restrictions. we as people have every right to know what's going on in the world. no group (gov't ran or not) should have a right to deminish peoples rights. i hope this helps give you prospective on the situation**

- Switch it up and bench free weight dumbbells on a standard bench. It forces you to balance the weight you are benching, not just push it up.

- The military press is my favorite shoulder exercise. I guess, next would be dumbbell side laterals. A lot of people have problems with the upright row, due to shoulder impringment. So I'm not a fan of that movement.

- The mineral pressed powder would be best if you're prone to breakouts, because its free of talc, parabens, etc that cause breakouts and clog pores =) I find it wears longer aswell, so its great =) 33
- Q: iam looking for a calculation or the difference between doing a bench press on a leverage bench vs a regular bench , for example i have a powertech leverage bench , if i have 300 lbs on it including the 30 lb U shaped bar that holds the wieght, and i lift it, whats the difference in actual wieght lifted compared to doing it on a regular flat bench, calculating the fact that you start at the bottom position on a leverage bench and there is no need for balancing the wieght like on a regular bench, and the difference in the angle in which you push up the wieght on a leverage bench, i know 300lbs on a leverage bench is not the same as doing 300lbs on a reular bench, does anyone know any websites or know themselves the ratio's or the difference in each is....like if you can do 300lbs on a leverage bench does that mean you can really only bench 230 on a regular bench..etc etc

- cold pressed means that the seeds like olives are pressed at room temperature to extract their oils. these are much more expensive. hot pressed means they heat the seeds up and add chemicals to help extract more oil. some seeds like sesame seeds need to be hot pressed because they hold such little oil. hot pressed oils are much cheaper.
