- Both work the same target muscles. The chest press does alot of the stablising for you so not as many assistant muscles are used. The bench press is a progression of the chest press. When you are able to use the chest press and maintain perfect form then you are ready to progress to the bench press. Because you need more stability when performing a bench press it will be harder and you should find that you can not lift as heavy at first. If you have not used the bench press before start light and make sure you have someone to spot you. Once you have mastered the bench press you can progress to a dumbell press and then to a single arm DB press.
- Q: I am a little over 21 weeks pregnant and just recently felt the baby move on the outside of my belly pretty good...acutally starting on Friday we could feel the baby kick or move on the outside if I pressed in the area I felt the baby move.
