The characteristics of:
- flat style seat
The traditional control valve often pass after washing due to foreign objects such as stone, wood, cement, paper, and other debris deposited on the valve at the end of the groove. Close but not close easily lead to the formation of Water Leakage phenomenon, the lower part of the soft sealing gate valve with water using the same flat design, easy to siltation caused by debris, the fluid unimpeded.
And the overall package glue
The valve plate is made of high-quality rubber overall, the outsourcing of plastic, making the domestic first-class rubber vulcanization vulcanization after the valve plate to ensure accurate geometry, and the rubber and ductile iron gate is connected firmly, not easy to fall off and good elastic memory.
And corrosion resistance
The valve body adopts epoxy coating powder, can prevent the corrosion and rust, and can be used for sewage systems.
And not easy to break
Traditional cast iron garden gate often hit foreign objects, collision or overlap caused by the fracture phenomenon. Because the valve to switch to ductile iron, this is the case already significantly reduced.
Three "O" ring seal
As the valve stem with three "0" ring ring seal design, can reduce friction when the switch is greatly reduced, Water Leakage phenomenon and can cut off the water supply construction not replace sealing ring.
And help to drink
Due to the internal body to non-toxic epoxy resin coating, gate of the inner and outer surfaces are completely coated with rubber and can not rust or corrosion of water available to drink.
- Casting valve
Valve body casting, precise geometry makes the body without any internal finishing to ensure that the valve seal.
And light weight
The valve is made of ductile cast, lighter in weight than conventional gate weight about 20%-30%. Convenient installation and repair.

- Q: If my understanding is correct, in a standard combustion engine as you press the gas pedal the speed of everything increases: the cam shafts spin faster (and thus the valves move faster), the pistons move faster...EVERYTHING goes faster. That sounds like an optimal system in theory, so what is the benefit of having the valves be able to be intelligently out of phase (for lack of a better phrase) with the rest of the system?
- Modifying camshaft timing under changing engine demand provides better balance between the following performance concerns: Engine power output Fuel economy Lower tailpipe emissions
- Q: List words that rhyme with valve...I need these.
- salve, like to put on a wound or something
- Q: What is the function of valves between atrium and ventricle in the heart?thanks
- the atrioventricular valves (AV valves) separates the atria from the ventricles. the AV valves perform a very important function in the heart by maintaining the blood flow in one direction. they are subjected to tremendous strain during every heart beat, and are uniquely designed to withstand this strain through a person’s lifetime. the right AV valves is called the tricuspid valve. the left AV valve is called the mitral valve. the opening and closing of the AV valves is dependent on pressure differences between the atria and ventricles. when the ventricles relax, atrial pressure exceeds ventricular pressure, the AV valves are pushed open and blood flows into the ventricles. however, when the ventricles contract, ventricular pressure exceeds atrial pressure causing the AV valves to snap shut. :)
- Q: Need some info. Ok, four valves per cylinder is better than two valves per cylinder. Fine, why did Ford REVERT to only 3 valves (my guess is to save cost SOHC)? Audi and VW are using five valves per cylinder on some cars, does this offer any advantage over a four valve engine? Maserati even experimented with a six valve per cylinder!!!! (see link) http://www.maserati-alfieri .uk/alfier... but abandoned it (my guess is cost again?) Why are we stuck at four valves or would more valves actually render more horsepower? Pop some ideas best answer to reasonable answer...
- Think of an engine as an air pump - obviously, we want the least amount of restriction for the incoming air and also the least amount for exhausting the compressed air. The ideal situation would be to remove the head during the intake stroke and put it back on during the compression stroke, but, obviously, this isn't possible. On a naturally aspirated engine, the intake is the most critical because the air is moved only by a relatively small difference in pressures. The exhaust stroke, on the other hand, is aided greatly by the super heated temperature and rapid expansion of the gasses. Two intake and one exhaust valve seems to be the most practical and efficient solution - adding more vales means smaller valves and an increase in the overall complexity. I seriously doubt that Maserati ever abandoned ANY automotive idea due to cost restraints. It's far more likely that adding more valves than three or four simply resulted in diminishing returns. Sometimes the allure of a new buzz phrase is nothing more than a marketing ploy - a 16 valve, DOHC, four cylinder engine, for example, is a pretty impressive resume for an engine, regardless of whether it actually is the optimum performance set up or not.
- Q: If I buy one of those Presta valve adapters can I just screw it on and leave it on while I ride? Will I lose air pressure at to fast of a rate?
- Nope! I always ride with one screwed onto each tire. The schrader adapter screws over the presta. Always good to have one incase you're near a gas station and may need air.
- Q: I want to switch off the water in the bathroom only due to replacing sink taps, will water still come out of the pipe if i turn the stop valve
- Water should be off to the sink is the stop valve off
- Q: the air valve, how does it propel a paintball in a blowback operated paintball gun how does the size/shape/?? of the valve impact how fast the paintball shoots?
- The majority of blowback paintball guns use a pin valve, which is opened when struck by the hammer. The hammer is held in the back position, with the spring compressed, by a sear. When the trigger is pulled, the hammer is propelled forward by the spring, into the valve. These sorts of markers generally use a “stacked tube” design, in which the valve and hammer is contained in the lower tube, while the bolt, which is connected to the hammer, is in the upper tube. The gas released by the valve is then simultaneously channeled up to the bolt to fire the paintball, and back to push the hammer back into the ****** position (hence the name “blowback”). Poppet valves are usually easy to replace and require little, if any, maintenance. The downside to this design, however, is its high operating pressure, which leads to a larger recoil and arguably less accuracy. The valve is usually designed to accommodate a specific operating pressure. Low pressure valves provide quieter operation and increased gas efficiency when tuned properly. However, excessively low pressure can decrease gas efficiency as dramatically as excessively high pressure. The volume of gas released by the valve directly affects the paintball's velocity. The velocity adjuster alters the pretension on the hammer spring which controls how long the pin valve is held open for, or more correctly how much gas must be released to push it back into the ****** position. EDIT - Sorry but wouldn't even know where to start on designing a valve.
- Q: I mean dropping the valve seat. And some mechanic told me that it dropped when the catalytic converter got clogged and it hurt the engine. But the most I've heard is that if I want to avoid this from happening I should be running the engine a bit colder because the valves weren't made with the right specs and after a 100,000 miles they become a bit loose and when the engine gets to the normal temperature or just a bit above, the valve seats would drop. Does ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS?
- If the valve has dropped you will hear a ticking nose when the engine is running. It the valve hitting the piston. This need to be fixed ASAP, With a stuck valve you will experance back firing or lots of smoke could out of the tall pipe especially on acceleration. Either way if you are trying to keep your car I would have the problem correctly diagnosed and this will likely means you will need a top end rebuild. These little 1.9L ford engines were pretty tough but after XX amount of miles and so many years it time for some internal engine work.
- Q: and that i need a valve job. what is a valve job, and is it expensive? i have a stock 1.6 SI motor in it, but i want to make my car better and faster, would it be cheaper to buy a new engine? some of the people who want to buy my car say that they would put a B16 vtec in it. what is that, and how much better is it than my engine?
- A valve job involves removing the head from the engine, disassembling the head regrinding the valves seats and installing new valve seals guides. new engine vs. valve job? Depends on how many miles are on the original engine. It's seldom a good idea to do only a valve job on a hi mileage engine. Valve job would be cheaper at first, unless you plan on keeping the car for a long time, then a new engine would be a good choice. Maybe the guy was just setting you up to ask for a lower price?
- Q: My check engine light is on in my 1999 Toyota Camry XLE...I went to autozone and they told me it was my egr valve BUT they did not tell me if it need to be cleaned or replaced. How can I tell if it needs to be cleaned or replaced
- its not an expensive part a new one will help mpg
