The mining slurry pump is horizontal, single suction, single-stage, cantilever, double casing centrifugal slurry pumps. The discharge direction can be set at any one of 8 directions, and the angle interval of the 8 choices is 45°. The shaft seal has three modes which are packing seal, expeller seal and mechanical seal.

Q:I am trying to replace my old water pump with a new one. I have the quot;special tooland everything but i just cant get the water pump to come loose at all. Any suggestions would be helpful Thanks: When you mean it wont come loose, do you mean you cant break the bolts loose or is the pump stuck on the motor like glue? If the bolts are stuck, try spray them with penetrating oil and let it work in for about 30 mins. If the pump is stuck, use a narrow putty knif, gently tap in between the pump and the block, and pry it off, then clean the mating surface completely to ensure the new pump seals properly.

Q:Went to bring my car in to get all my belts replaced (minus the timing belt) My car was working fine, nothing was wrong with it. I pick up my car and get it home when I turn to get into the drive way there's this horrible squeal. I bring it back to Pep Boys and they tell me my water pump is broke. Thanks: More than likely your water pump was about to go. If it has or had more than 50,000 miles on it, I wouldn't be suspicious of anything. Usually, the timing belt is right in there with the water pump and it is the most critical belt of them all. When you take your car back have them inspect it. A snapped timing belt can ruin your engine.

Q:I took my 04 Grand Prix to the mechanic for a coolant change. My car had never drip coolant until after the coolant change . I took my car today to the same mechanic and he told me that the problem was the water pump and wants to charge me 70 dollars. Could changing the coolant affect the water pump. Or did the mechanic damaged the water pump on purpose.: its hard to say the technition damaged the pump , and most likely he didnt . being an 04 model and if the car has the engine i think it does then it was probably a matter of time the pump went out anyway and 70 dollars is a ''good'' deal if parts were included .so count your blessings. those pumps are notorius for going bad but easily changed and remember to check and use the proper coolant on a regualr basis the ph level and potency for temp . i have installed pumps on these cars and some people have ignored my advice to replace them when dripping only to have it cost them a small fortune in the end for warping the heads.
