1.Structure of Centrifugal Diesel Engine  Water Pump for Irrigation Description

The pumps are designed for economical & trouble-free operation in handling solids-laden liquids and slurries, it handle up to 76.2mm spherical solids. Pumps feature a large volute design which allows them to re-prime automatically in a completely open system without the need of suction or discharge check valves. And this is workable with the pump only partially filled with liquid and completely dry suction line. Standard Self-Priming pump units are available for Solids Handling or Clear Liquid service. Typical mounting configurations areEngine Driven for Skid or Trailer Mounted packages and Frame Mounted Electric Driven.  Pumps also are available in a variety of different metallurgies.

Q:What things in my car could the seizing of my water pump cause? As I stated in another question, the power steering went, the red battery light came on and it over heated. The mechanic said it seized and i'm lucky the engine didn't seize. He has to look into it more. I'm just really curious as to what kind of damage i've done and the possibilities! thanks in advance.
well... depending on how severe the problem is, it could be many things. You could simply have to change the water pump, and be on your way. That's the best case scenario. Though, in really bad cases, I've heard of the whole engine having to be replaced. When the water pump stops working, the engine doesn't get cooled properly. So it heats up a ton, and things start to expand. The pistons can start to gouge the cylinder walls, and ultimately they will get so tight that things can't move. That's what the mechanic was talking about. Also, the water expanding could cause some internal gaskets to blow out. So there are a lot of variables at play here. Best case, it's nothing serious. Maybe as little as $100 for a new water pump (depending on the type of car). Or worst case, you fried the engine and need a new one. That can get quite expensive obviously. Hopefully, it's nothing serious.
Q:Iv got a 2002 Chrysler Sebring with a 2.7 in it and recently it started leaking coolant, its been determined that i need a new water pump. Iv gotten quotes from various places and various prices but there all telling me i need to replace different things. One guy said i need a timing kit, the other guy said i dont need a timing kit but need valave covers and a couple other things, another said i dont need anything but the pump itself. Im lost and the leaks getting worse and i need to make a decision but dont know what to do. Some insight from you helpful people would be great!
Usually water pumps just go, and you can't drive the car until it is replaced. They leak horribly before too long. Just keep putting water in it, but it will leak out as fast as you put it in there. A mechanic removes the water pump and puts a new one on. Nothing else has to be replaced. Go to the mechanic who said only the pump needs to be replaced. He sounds correct - although I am sure a 2002 car may need a couple of other things done to it.
Q:If a submersible pump to shake the insulation, water pump distance more than 20 meters away from the cable distribution box is fixed, at this time to shake the insulation in the distance distribution box can only shake, disconnect the power cable is connected with the shake table, the ground end is connected with the distribution box in such a shake, I want to ask is, what is this shake is not the pump shell must be reliable grounding to shake ah? Now the pump casing is not grounded, just immersed in water, immersed in the water, is not equal to good grounding ah?
The cable head in the distribution box should be relieved. What's more, the motor insulation is not the pump insulation. Usually, just shake it in the middle of the water and the ground.
Q:I have a leak on the front of the engine by the timing belt housing coming out of a small hole by the alternator. I assume it is a leaking water pump. How do to go about changing the water pump?Short clip of actual leak coming from the hole by the alternator and under the timing belt housing
water pump is timing belt driven, so you have to pull all of the belts off, the timing belt cover and that belt also. if that belt has not been replaced in 80,000 miles. you want to do that. i had a 93 civic and a 90 civic that i did the belt and pump in at 230,000 miles. it takes a little time but it is not that bad. the harmonic balancer has to come off for the timing belt also.
Q:i started backing out of my garage and something sounded like it poped then lots of steam started coming out and water was on the ground on the right side of the car non on the left and the water pump needle in my car is all the way to the red can some one help me
your car was almost out of water t overheated and blew a hose. You need to find out what is leaking the coolant out and fix it. You did not mention the year make or model so there is little we can advise. Many cars have a weep hole on the botton of the water pump and when the seal breaks this is usually because the bearing in the water pump is worn. Put in a new pump and inspect all heater hoses and radiator hoses replace the thermostat and then add coolant. Be sure to open the heater core so no air bubbles block the system.. leave the radiator cap off and let the car warm up good so the thermostat opens and coolant starts to curculate rev the enging slowly several times to work out any air fill the system (replace radiator cap with a new one too) put new cap on and drive around for about ten minutes and park the car. Let it cool so that any coolant needed gets sucked in through the pressure cap. Refill overflow bottle as necessary.
Q:Okay, i have a 1997 dodge stratus with a 2.4l motor, recently i was out early in the morning when i heard what sounded like a loud whining noise, i quickly pulled over and killed the motor. Turns out the teeth were stripped off the timing belt and the water pump busted. How much would this cost to get it fixed, and what is the possibility the engine may be damaged? Also would it be worth fixing it, or just selling it for parts? Oh yeah, the car has 176k miles
yes its probably worth fixing ,you shouldn't have no engine damage to it because that one doesn't run an interference engine ,all that should have to be done is new pulleys and a water pump, and new timing belt kit put on it,all of this will cost around 3-400 bucks though for everything, but its probably worth repairing, you cant buy a good car for 400 bucks, and if it ran well before then it should be alright once you get it repaired, good luck with it i own on of those and their good cars.
Q:What is a fair price to have a water pump with belts replaced on a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer?
Price okorder , Water-pumps and serpentine belts are very easy to change in all rear wheel drive cars
Q:A pump, the flow rate of 30T/H per hour, lift 30 meters, should be allocated more power motor?
The actual use of power should be at least 5.5kW, I did not find 30t/H lift 30 meters of the water pump, and only he approached the model, supporting a larger power, and will not increase the power consumption
Q:I got my oil changed yesterday and took like a 3 hour drive and back home and had no issues.. today I was at my work visiting and I noticed smoke coming from the engine [sort of more of steam] and a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust. The light on the gauge inside the car for the engine temp isn't working but all the other ones are. A mechanic told me it was a bad water pump, but I just want some more opinions. Or if the oil change could of effected that.. My engine coolant wasn't that low but a greenish liquid was really leaking from underneath the car.
*shakes magic ball* I think its the heater control valve.
Q:Is it a must to change the entire water pump since only driplets of anti-freeze leak out over a 7day period from the bottom of the pump? Can i simply change the gasket and make it all better? Water pump is pumping and making no noise, vehicle isnt over heating.
Unfortunately, this usually requires a new pump. It's possible (but unlikely) that the gasket is leaking - more likely, the seal around the pulley shaft is the problem. Replacement is the only option. Usually, this is done at the same time as the timing belt - has this been done yet? If it was done before you got the car, its possible they tried to save a few bucks by skipping the water pump. This is usually a bad move - the pump almost always wears out at about the same time - but it is cheaper, if they were planning on getting rid of the car soon. And since one usually needs to be removed to access the other...you get the idea. Good luck!
