6. FAQ
1> Can I get trained on CNBM products?
Yes, we provide training courses in our factory (products, general and specific pump technology, hydraulics, and practical applications). Please consult your sales manager or get in touch with our headquarters for more information.
2> Are your pumps cheaper than those of your competitors?
CNBM aims to give its customers the highest standards of quality and service and delivery times, all at a reasonable price.
3> How long is your warranty?
Unless otherwise expressly authorized in writing, by specifying a longer period or different conditions, CNBM states that, for a period of twelve (12) months from delivery date, all Products supplied are free from defects in materials and workmanship, and conform to the applicable specifications. Either the delivery documentation or the invoice must be provided to prove delivery date. In absence of such documents, the production date appearing on the product label may suffice.
4> Do you have any variable motor for these pumps?
Yes, we have. For the variable motor, the frequence can be changed as the customers' request. If the range is between 30~50Hz, the fan can be just connected with the shaft. And if the frequency is below 30Hz, then the fan has to have another separated power. The variable speed motor would be used for solar energy or some other similar situation with the unstable power.
5> How about the Delivery time?
Actually, this would be depending on the quantity. If it is just small order, 1 week would be fine. For bigger quantity, the delivery would be also less then 20 days. But for the varible speed ones, it will be taking some more time, normally it will be more than a month.
- Q: As I wrote last night, I have a Isuzu Rodeo V6 3.2L 4X4. I guess I misunderstood my husband. I talked to him this morning and he said that it did overheat but the gauges on the inside of the car wasn't showing that it was overheating. It wasn't spewing coolant but the coolant that was just filled up a couple of weeks ago is empty. Does anyone know what the problem is?
- it could be coming out of the weep hole in the water pump or a freeze plug leaking. have him to check those things out.
- Q: was putting a water pump on, and i tight too much on 2 bolts, and they broke. is it anyway to fix it ?? is it going to cost alot in labor ??
- Remove the water pump. Then you should be able to grab whats left of the bolts with a pair of vise grips and turn them out.
- Q: The plumber has disappeared on us with 99% of the job done. Our new basement remodel has baseboard heating installed, a water pump attached to the furnace/boiler, but no heat downstairs because their is no thermostat. I haven't checked to see if he did any wiring. (Wouldn't that be an electrician's job?) I've ordered a wireless thermostat kit, and I'm assuming installation instructions for the base are included, but it hasn't arrived yet. What should I do to get that pump pumping hot water to keep us nice and cozy?
- That part in the picture is a high limit control with manual reset. It has nothing to do with the pump. You will need more than a thermostat to control the added pump. When you have more than one pump the system is zoned .You need a switching relay panel (Taco SR502) that not only turns on the pump , but also the burner. There is a lot to know here and it's best left to a heating contractor.
- Q: Van died on the road. It wants to turn over, but it won't start. I had it towed to Firestone. They're telling me that it needs a whole list of stuff. I ask them, quot; What does it need to just get it running? They say, quot;A new timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and coolant flush.quot; If the timing belt is indeed broken, I know that it will need to be replaced. And, probably the water pump, too. But, what is the importance of the thermostat and coolant flush? Will the car not run if I don't have a thermostat? Can't I just put Engine Coolant in and not have to quot;flushwhatever is supposed to be flushed?Thank you in advance for your help.
- Yes as the water pump moves the coolant. They could have collected and reused the old coolant and added a bit of water to get the level up. Get it checked at a local garage(or buy a tester yourself) to see how strong the mixture is so you know how low you can go.
- Q: I tried using my water line with a pressure tank and pressure switch but without a pressure tank I observed that when he pressure reaches 30 psi the motor pump switches off automatically and when we open the faucets to use water the pressure switch turns on again the motor pump.
- A pressure tank acts to mellow out the surges inherent in the action of the pump. Without a pressure tank, the service life of the pump is diminished. Think of using a garden hose at full volume at the end of 50 feet of 1 pipe. That works out to 17 pounds of water moving at a high speed. When flow stops the 17 pounds of water has a tremendous amount of energy that has to go somewhere. It is better if that force goes into an air cushion at the top of pressure tank rather than into the vanes of the pump.
- Q: I know that the water pump is belt driven, so it would be easy to connect it to my bicycle. What I am wondering is if I can pedal fast enough to make it work. Does anyone know how fast I would need to pedal to operate the pump?
- Mechanical water pumps will move water with any rotation, provided it's a sealed system and there are no obstructions. The flow rate will be determined by the RPM of the water pump. This is proportional to the pulley sizes of the drive pulley to the water pump pulley. 600 RPM for a water pump at idle is sufficient for the cooling system design and the engine heat load at idle. Without knowing the specifics of your application, it would be hard to tell how fast you would need to pedal.
- Q: How do you measure and analyse the pump characteristics and efficiency?
- Right on sweetheart! I'm with you due to the fact that I do not like being owned via the billionaires on this nation! There's not anything unsuitable with proudly owning used rather then the belief problems! Keeping up Appearances ring any bells? I believe typically it is a subject of jealousy too while anybody is paying $six hundred a month auto cost whilst you trip round on your four 12 months ancient auto cost unfastened and the item runs without end! Believe me, I've bought one! A 1984 GMC in best situation that I purchased while it used to be five years ancient and all I have ever performed to this can be a $1159 modern day substitute engine! The factor simply maintains going and going, we use it for snowplowing, getting firewood, at the farm for each chore conceivable, ingredients truck at my fix save and many others! So, preserve up the spirits and do not fear what different humans believe! I have an ancient announcing, if you do not like me or what I am then keep away! I used to be right here earlier than with out you and I'll be right here after wards with out you! Firm believer of reside and allow reside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Q: I have a quot;Rainbow Lifeguard Quiet One 6000external pump that I would like to use on a new chiller for my tank. The pump is rated at a little over 1500 gallons per hour. I'm debating between a couple of chillers, one that has a max flow rate of 1300 gph and another that has a max of 960.I know that you are only supposed to put any valves on the outflow side of the pump and lessening the flow to 1300 from 1500 doesn't seem like it would be that big of a problem, but I was curious it cutting it back to 960 would be hard on the pump in the long run. (I'm leaning towards the bigger chiller as although it may be overkill for my tank, it would let me have a little more water circulation.)
- I wouldn't restrict it more than about 10% or so personally. I would ask you to think about this: The rated flow rate on a pump is under perfect operating conditions and is usually a mathmatical model that cannot really be acheived in the real world. Your pump probbaly is several gallons per hours behind that. If the tank is on a stand and the pump on the floor, the head pressure alone may slow it to 1300 or below. Additional tubing, especially hard angles will further reduce the flow. I would suggest you get a flow meter ( you can probably borrow one from a plumber for a day) and test the actual flow rate in your set up. Remember that the chiller will further reduce the flow itself. Odds are good you are closer to the needed 1300 than you think. You can also install a small diverter valve in the line. Basically splitting the output from the pump into two lines. One can carry about 1250 GPH and the other the rest which it just returns to the tank unchilled. Hope that helps MM
- Q: i want to change the water pump on my on a 70 hp (70C) nissan outboard motor and i never pulled a lower unit, not sure what to expect thanks for any help
- CW pushes water up into the motor housing.
- Q: I don't want to have to rent or purchase a electric pump to pump the water out of my pool so are there other ways to get the water out besides the obvious (a bucket and alot of people). I am really tight on money so purchasing a device to do the work isn't a real option but I really need to drain the pool without damaging it.
- You can do a back wash, which will drain it.
