Q: I‘m looking for a new Semi-auto (light-weight) shot gun that I can put a rifled barrel on and use as a slug gun. I was looking around and found out Benelli‘s semi-autos have an inertia system instead of a gas one. Does that system still use the recoil of the gun? How does it work different from the gas. (and if you know of any good light-weight semi-auto slug guns please feel free to post any oppinions or info on that) (except Remingtons, I can‘t stand em): I have an M1 tactical with a pistol grip and ghost ring sights. I have mixed and matched a variety of different rounds in the tube and have had no trouble or any jams. For example, I have loaded skeet, a 2.75 slug, skeet, a 3 inch BBB goose load, skeet, etc. It shoots them all without a hitch. I don't know if I would call it light weight, but it shoots slugs good with the ghost ring sights, and is a well-made weapon.

Q: I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand AM SE the car has 114,000 miles on it. I was recently driving home from work and my check engine light came on. After that the car started to idle real bad. I have to release my foot from the gas to shift gears and every time it shifts the RPM‘s go up real high and it‘s very hard to drive up hills the RPM‘s go real high. And recently my coolant light started coming on and i will fill the coolant up and the coolant ain‘t cheap lol and when i look in the reservoir the coolant is empty and the coolant light blinks on and off and the engine light comes on when the car get‘s warmed up and it still idles real rough and it takes long to shift idk what‘s going on someone please help me: For the check engine light, go to a parts store and have them use their OBD scanner to diagnose why the light comes on. The coolant light means that the cooling system is low on fluid; might be a leak in the hoses, a bad thermostat, or other things. Have the auto parts person look at it or go to a mechanic. You need to get both fixed ASAP before more problems occur

Q: Last week when im driving my Check engine light and my ETS light come on at the same time. I went to Auto Zone and i checked the computer and the code that came up was P0420 it said that the catalyst system was preforming below efficiency bank 1. They said this is the O2 sensor and i replaced it and reset the computer and the light went off for 3 days. Then the same 2 lights came back and i didnt know what was going on. So now my car is going through about 1/8 a tank a day now. My buddy who works for a dealership says it might be the spark plugs that need to be replaced and i dont know if this will fix it (other problem is i know how to do this but im without a tourqe wrench so i cant do the job while im here in LA) So if there is any techs out there that work for GM and could lend a hand to let me know whats going on i would be greatfull. Thanks,SeanYou can IM me: Okay once again I feel I must correct all the misinformation that the so called master mechanic posts. 1. The first shop you took the car to ripped you off by selling you an O2 sensor. The P0420 code sets when the system detects that the catalytic converter it not storing and releasing oxygen correctly. If the O2 sensor is bad, it will set an O2 sensor code. 2. If the new O2 sensor became unplugged, it would set a host of other O2 sensor codes such as insufficient activity, and heater circuit fault. The code you have is setting because something has poisoned the catalytic converter causing it to not work any more. Any competent shop can test the converter with a bar 5 gas analyzer. I cannot believe how many people out their claim to be Masters that don't have a clue how a car works.

Q: In addition when I first start it the idle is sometime too high and lowers after running for a few minutes. And sometimes it cuts off while I‘m driving either idle or accelerating. I start it back up and it runs. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY BABY?: The radiator has a sensor attached to it. When the new one was installed the sensor was either not connected or connected wrong. Have it serviced. As for your idle - the timing is of on the carburetor. Have the car serviced.
