Q: Can someone help me out with this problem? I would like to try to fix it myself. My SES light came on in my 2004 BMW 325i and this is what the auto parts store said the problem was. The code was P0411.: It's not the air filter, it's the air pump locate on the passenger side(exhaust) of the engine bay. It can be as a simple fix as a broken vacuum line that control for diagram of the pump. That line is right at the exhaust as will be develop a crack in the line. I know I was doing the O2 sensor and bump it and it broken. Remove the plastic cover to get to the vacuum line. Pay $2 to get a generic vacuum and done. Save yourself $200 on the fix. Q: I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand AM SE the car has 114,000 miles on it. I was recently driving home from work and my check engine light came on. After that the car started to idle real bad. I have to release my foot from the gas to shift gears and every time it shifts the RPM‘s go up real high and it‘s very hard to drive up hills the RPM‘s go real high. And recently my coolant light started coming on and i will fill the coolant up and the coolant ain‘t cheap lol and when i look in the reservoir the coolant is empty and the coolant light blinks on and off and the engine light comes on when the car get‘s warmed up and it still idles real rough and it takes long to shift idk what‘s going on someone please help me: When you get a new shirt, scotch guard it or use another of the fabric protectants.

Q: ok i recently auto adjusted my monitor,what exactly does &quot;auto adjust&quot; do ? , like does it automatically choose a brightness/ contrast that relates to my monitor, or does it just do whatever it wants kinda thing. cause i dont really understand what auto adjust does to a monitor. also whats the best highness of brightness and contrast to have on a lcd monitor?. and i was wondering if changing your monitor settings effects my picture qualitys and coloring or if its justt the way it looks cause of my monitor, or did it change my pictures too.: Dear Kayla. The auto-adjust option on the LCD monitor will load some pre-configured setting put into the system in the factory. These are set believing you have good eyesight, good lighting in the room and are not colorblind. It also sets the monitor up to run at the fastest recommended refresh rate. You should set the brightness/contrast to what feels comfortable to you without having the monitor lit up too high. The only thing that damages a monitor very fast is 'over-driving' brightness controls. So the lower the brightness the better for both of you. Just bring up the brightness until you are comfortable and adjust the color/contrast settings to get the best match to a picture you have both in the computer and printed on hand. Try to adjust the monitor controls until the picture tones get very close to each other. Very few monitors can do this without being 'over-driven' so be careful to set any control to full or null applications.

For example, we live in Florida and if you have USAA you have to have hurricane coverage, and it does go up yearly. Look over your documents. Another thing we called USAA once and they weren't giving us our age discount. We were still being charged at the 19 year old rate, once we said something that helped out. (we are 24) Also double check to see that all your security features are listed for you car, we had to call about our car having an alarm system, and daytime running lights (both discounts).

Q: Is this light suppose to stay on. Same question for Air bag light. This is also stays on. Neither light turns off.: ETS is your traction control system. If your airbag light stays on then there is a problem. Your car is trying to tell you that there is something malfunctioning with the airbag system. It will tell you more in your manual about that; if your airbag light remains on. It may be nothing, just a glitch or something like that. Take it to your local Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts and they will do a free scan diagnostic to see what is wrong. Same for your ETS light. Mechanic will probably charge you for a scan though. Is your traction control system on? If it says TRAC OFF your system is off. Press the ETS button to ingage the TRAC system.

Q: But it turns back on after cranking it immediately(sometimesl). After a place like running in to grab food it dies and rapidly clicks. I‘m replacing the alternator tomorrow but can it cause stalling in the streets or is that something else: Yes but it kills battery first then nothing will work like starter, fuel pump etc. Make sure to get battery recharged and load tested to see if good or bad first then get alternator checked, it's possibly ok if bat. bad and alt. can't keep battery up.
