Q: Does the truck have a self diagnosis tool that can tell me the code for the check engine light? Like some Chrysler /Dodge products if you turn the key 3 times a code will appear on the dash. That's the system that recovers your fuel VAPORS. Your fuel tank is sealed so most think the gas cap is the weak link. But if you look under your hood, you will see on you drivers side fender, That big black box. That's the charcoal canister. The fumes get pumped through that. LOOK at the hoses, coming off that, CLOSELY. ANY cracks in those hoses will cause a leak. ANY hoses that are knocked off will cause a leak. FOLLOW those hoses, there all real short, SEE where they connect to. ANY cracks in the hoses there will cause a leak. Believe me you will see a cracked hose or completely broken hose. CHECK them all in that area. Just replace any cracked ones or cut and shorten them.

Q: I bought my car- ‘98 Ford Taurus- with the engine light on, and they said it was just an oxygen (compressor?), but its not crucial to fix. Is this a legit price, and the cause for my heat to not work? If I get this fixed would it fix my other problems with the car? Or is it not worth it and sell my car?: the price is about right, a head gasket is a big job and it sounds like that's probably the issue(even though there's not a lot of info). if you get it fixed, then it should fix the heating issue as well, but i'm pretty sure the gas issue is something seperate. you should get a second opinion before you agree to the repairs, but you're better off fixing it than selling it. a '98 Taurus with a broken head gasket is probably worth less than a grand, and you won't be able to buy much for that.

Q: Is there any way to disable the xbox 360 auto-shutoff function after an overheat. For some reason my xbox will overheat after five minutes of being turned on room tempature. I have throughly investigated this and have came to conclude that their is something wrong with the xbox‘x abillities to read internal tempature because it overheats with for no reason. I cant afford to pay 100 dollars to have it fixed so I was wondering if I could somehow make it so this auto-shutoff display 2 flashing lights function to stop and have the xbox continue to play.: Im I am correct, I think the auto shut-off function is a fail safe system requirement. There is no way to shut it off without actually opening your xbox 360. P.S doesn't your xbox have a warranty? or a warranty of the place where you bought it? That could save the 100 bucks and get a new 360. Otherwise if you really do have to open the xbox and shut off the feature somehow I do not know how that might breach the xbox's warranty with microsoft.
