- hey dude ,,it will get it hot that's for sure,,i have used them before,i haven't seen any melt yet but they get extremely hot. though,,.i cant remember the last brand i used,,but they came from advance auto,,and the,ll warn you that it may get hot,,but as of yet the ones i have put in haven't melted anything but that's not to say it wont happen,read on the paper of the one you have,and see what it says,,most of them are made to work with stock housings,,good luck,,,have a good x-mas.

- Check the fuse. Also, check the codes(from the computer using jumper wire in the buss line connection in the ignition wiring harness) from the repair manual(if even possible on your car). Or of course take it to a shop, let them figure it out.but you should be fine to simply drive it. Just no air bags for now. Don't hit or get hit. :)
- Q: In my 1986.5 Toyota Supra, the battery light is always on. The car starts, runs, and the alternator always charges the battery great I have brand new terminals. I am mechanically inclined but I have never run into this before I‘d some feedback maybe help me toss some ideas into the air on what it could be, also the wires look great and the voltage reads fine and the grounding and tightness of the wires are solid.
- Could be just a weak battery, but If everything seams to be OK you could just have a short in the system or a bad warning light. I would take it to your local advance auto or autozone, they will test your alternator/battery for free. Sweet car, btw. I owned a '87.5 Supra turbo

- Q: So, My check engine light came on about 2-3 weeks ago. The code read p10702 bank 1 (system too rich). I had the o2 sensor replaced and it was fine for a while. But the same code came back on! what could it be now? Just need opinions. And also I‘m waiting on my check so would it be bad to run the car for 2-3 weeks until I can fix. Any help will.HELP. - problem is usually in emissions system, but can be any number of sensors that are sending the wrong signal to ECM. what you need is to have a mechanic with a scanner do a diagnostic check and make an written estimate on cost to repair. Cost to do this will be about $60, but is well worth if done correctly. Otherwise you are just throwing parts at the problem hoping for a fix. Note a scanner is not a code reader it is a computer that talks to your vehicles computer, ECM PCM
