Q: The engine light came on in my car and we took it to Pep Boys to get code pulled and they told us that it was coming back with two codes, P0101 and P0172. They told us the mass air flow sensor is bad and that it is running too rich, is this something that can be repaired at home my husband? Can you inform me more about this ? Thanks: they are all transmission codes, they have to do with the TCC. The TCC is when the torque converter gos into lock up for overdrive. The codes are not a good thing to have, you will need to take in to a transmission shop, or the a dealer. Its not a cheep thing to fix, But 1st check transmission fluid level. Good luck.

Q: About three weeks ago my engine light came on in my car and I‘d never had anything for wrong with it in the few years I had it. I took it to auto zone and they ran a test that came up saying that my gas cap was defective. It wasn‘t loose because it had be on both prior to and after filling up my car. They gave me a new gas cap and said to drive around for a while and the light would turn off on its own. Well it has been three weeks and my light is still on. I had some put in bicycle tire, worked- but not good for motorcycle on hiway. Dirt bikes sometimes had extra thick innner tube and Slime or flat Pruf filling between tire and inner tube, low pressure for dirt grip and safe enough for 30 to 45 mph even with some sidewall damage. Your post implies you did get the emergency filling and are currently riding it for next month as shop noted would be about all they could hope for before they sold you new tire.
