Q:Car oil light can run far: Different models, can not say. Generally in 30 km ~ ~ ~ 50 km between. Q:I do installing for a living and i am stumped on what to do about this. I put a viper 350hv in my 2002 dodge intrepid. my car never came with key less entry. mind you that car had power locks already. if i manually lock the door with the switch on the inside of the car and shut the door my dome light will dim and go out but if i just shut the door and lock it with the vipers fob the it will lock and chip twice meaning it is overriding the dome light because it wont dim. there are two ways i can think of to fix it. one is to set the setting on the viper to auto arm 30 seconds after the last door is shut or fix the dome light problem. please help!: diode isolate the doors 4 diodes and one more diode so the 12v don't come back to the alarm green wire in the drivers door total 5 diodes and it work i did it on a 2003 limited town and country some system

Q:had dead batt now it's gone crazy when i went to jump start it the alarm went bannanas but hear the problem bought the truck used and had no idea it ean had an alarm to get it to stop the noise i cut the horn/siren now the blue light flashes all the time never flashed b 4 ..and its makeing a quite clicking noise like every 30 seconds .....so with no remote what would you do .... btw its a 1999 burban: is it an after market alarm or is it factory fitted to the car? If it is factory fitted you should be able to get a remote from the manufacturer, if not, your gonna have to remove the alarm system. can be tricky because there are heaps of wires hooked up to the control module.

Q:in an auto what does brake warning light indicate: Different cars might have various meanings with the warning light. Q:I am currently designing a recovery system for a rocket that uses blades instead of a parachute. The idea is that the blades will auto-rotate, all that in order to slow down the rocket enough for a safe landing.I have been researching a bit on my own, and did a few experiments. However, I have quite a hard time to find the best blades for auto-rotational purposes. If you could give a specific example of blades with details like appropriate pitch angle,etc. which fulfills these properties, that would be awesome. Any background information is also highly appreciated.Thanks in advance.: What's auto-rotate in this context? If you mean they are turned by the airstream, then you're on to a total loser. You'd do much better for drag with just a flat stationary disc of the same diameter as the blades.

Q:I have a volvo 940 GL petrol auto estate , 1992. i can‘t get the A B S light to go out , the car has had a diagnostic check but this did not pinpoint the problem ? the M O T is due and so i am anxious to get the problem sorted , has any one got any ideas please ? .: The ABS light isn't faulty, your ABS system is. The light is doing its job. Now the problem is, how to repair the ABS. The fault could be caused by a bad wheel sensor, or the control module, wiring, or any number of things. If you don't know how to trouble shoot it, take it to a mechanic that does. Brakes are not something to play with.

Q:Ok so today i go to work. Clock in, work, clock out. Sure enough when i walk out, what do i see. I see my lights are on and very dim. I know immediately what happened. So just to try. I try to start it. It doesnt make a noise. So i go inside and find my friend who just got off work as well. We try and jump it. It turns over as usual but it wont fire. Then my dad gets there and we get it to fire. Turns out i had to give the gas pedal a little pump. So it runs, but the engine light stays on. I figure its because my battery is super close to dead, completely dead. However, my jeep wont idle. If i let off the gas completely the rpms just go down until it dies. So that makes me think, maybe the engine light is on for something other than the battery. Before work it was fine, absolutely nothing wrong. I got it home, after it dying once on the way home. So whats wrong. Is it the battery. Or is it something thats gonna cost me an arm and leg to fix? I certainly hope not. Thanks.: Start off with the simplest thing, charge the battery and see what happens. If the battery won't take a charge then you know the problem. If a battery is on the old side leaving the lights on could deep discharge it enough to kill a cell or two. If it won't take a charge then you need a new battery. If it does take a charge put it back in the Jeep and after you start it check the voltage of the charging system with a voltmeter. If you don't have access to a voltmeter go to an Advance Auto Parts or CarQuest and see if they can check your charging system. Some parts places will do it for free. If you don't have a battery charger try to borrow a battery from another vehicle (one you know that is charged) and see what happens when you run the Jeep with the other battery.
