Q: Car headlights easy to bad
That small and medium instrument cannon quite easy to bad ~ mainly the quality but off ~
Q: There are 2 warning lights that came on along with the check engine light. One of them looked like a car with a key in the middle and the other looked similar to a H and then the truck lost all acceleration I still had power for lights and my breaks worked but when i pushed on the gas it didnt go anywhere. This happened twice and i turned the car off and then restarted it and the engine light was still on but the other 2 werent but then when i started driving again and it did it again. we brought it to auto zone and they ran a diagnostic on it and said that nothing was wrong and turned the check engine light off but I dont want to get stuck somewhere and dont know what the lights mean. Please help
The light that looks like a car with a key in it has to do with the security system and is probably what is causing your problem. The H might be something to do with the four wheel drive if it even has that? Just a guess. But yeah the security system can completely immobolize your car if it thinks for whatever reason it might be getting stolen. Kinda hard to diagnose intermittent things like that but I'd suggest taking it to the dealer and see if they can pull any related codes that might be stored (its possible to have codes stored and no check engine light on, it usually only comes on if something is detected that will affect emissions). I would guess Autozone probably just checked the engine control module and none of the others.
Q: what could cause my check engine to come on and stay on and my interior light also stays on sometimes?
A check engine light can be caused by a number of things from a faulty gas cap to O2 sensor to temp.sensor. An interior light that stays on could be a faulty door switch or a short in the bulb receiver. Also, check all ground wires that you can find. Make sure they are connected. I had a Silverado that ran great until it warmed up but when it did warm up it threw check engine lights. After a lot of blood, cursing and tears I discovered a broken ground from the cab to the engine block. Good luck
Q: describe the software (eg.auto cad)and its system requirements and hardware required to produce cad drawings?
I've used cadd programs from the beginning of my programming career about 15 years ago. Autocad is the most popular but it is not the only one and over the years there are plenty of free and online programs. Basically, the software records coordinate information relative to each other in a coordinate system such as 2D, 3D, geographic, albers, mercator, etc. depending on the type of drawing you are doing (architecture, mapping, etc.) Files are written, usually in proprietary formats, which are usually convertable between vendor formats should the need arise (often in a painful way, from practical experience). The coordinates may be points in a line, key points in describing an arc or a point on its own. The drawn lines you see on screen are based on user preferences such as colour, thickness, solid, dashed, etc. or something called a 'cell' for points. I would feel safe to say that probably any modern computer (laptop or desktop) is capable of running any cadd software package. The larger the cadd file, the more need there will be for memory and video card power but at that point, you'd more than likely know a lot more about the software not to have to ask. The output (printing) of cadd drawings can be done on any modern printer but often larger plotter-style devices are used to print out the drawing on large-format paper. Modern cadd software also has the ability to render drawings with surfaces and lighting to give the appearance of reality to the drawing which is the same kind of thing computer games do now to render ground, buildings, creatures, etc. In many ways, they're the same except cadd software is not interested in movement very much. Hope that helps.
Q: so heres the deal. i got in my car, started it and took off. no warming or anything, and when i tried to back down my driveway my traction light came on. there‘s no ice, so what gives. the car does need brakes and i am replacing them but why the stupid light now. when the car warmed up the brakes acted completly normal. i don‘t get it and the car repair shop wants to charge me close to a hundred bucks just to stick the sensor on it. any suggestions?
First of all it is NOT the fuse. If it was, the light would not come on at all. The way the traction control system works is by utilizing the ABS sensors. When it senses that any of the tires are spinning faster than the others it automatically applies the brakes to that wheel in order to slow it down. That being said I would start by checking the ABS sensors. Is your ABS light on? If not, are all your tires filled to the same pressure? Low air pressure will decrease the size of the tire causing that tire to rotate faster. The fact that it needs brakes could also be the cause. If one of the brakes is grabbing more than another it will fool the system into thinking that wheel is slipping on the pavement. As for taking it to the chop to have them put the scanner on it, don't do it. Take it to Auto Zone, and ask them to do it. They will do it for free. They do this in hopes that you will but parts to fix it there. Get the brakes fixed first before you address the traction control light.
Q: I just purchased a 2007 BMW 335i and was wondering how this may be done. I know I can turn them on by turning on my parking brakes. Also, I can run daytime running lamp bulbs but those look kind of ugly. I just want to have my coronas turn on when my light switch is turned to automatic. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
The coronas, normally called angel eyes, ARE the DRLs. They come on whenever the parking lights (not parking brakes) are on. They can also come on independently if you have it set up in either i-Drive, or if you don't have navigation then by using your instrument cluster menu system. It's all in the owners manual. Placing the headlight switch into the auto position will turn on the headlights if it's dark enough or if it's raining, which then turns on the angel eyes since the parking lights come on too. If you have DRL turned on as mentioned above, they would be on all the time and then the headlights would come on once it got dark outside. The parking lights are the orange ones on the very outside of the headlight assembly. If you have DRL enabled in whatever menu system you have, they are on all the time regardless of the headlight switch position. The angel eyes are run by a single bulb for each side of the car, a 35 watt H8 to be specific. The inner headlights (what used to be high beams) are the cornering lights and are operated by a 55 watt H3 bulb. These come on individually when turning if the headlight switch is in auto (and it's dark). They also both come on when backing up if in auto. The outside lights are the high and low beam lights, and should be a D1S bulb assuming you have xenon lights. These lights also pivot when turning if switch is in auto (and it's dark).
Q: I recently bought a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid, but it came with no owners‘ manual, so I have some questions:1) The Auto-Stop feature on the car does not work at all times. I know that it does not come on if you are driving slower than 10 mph, but in some instances, I have been driving over 10 mph, come to a stop, and the Auto-Stop does not engage. Can anyone help me with this.2) By the radio/dash, there is an ECON button - what does this do, and how do I use it?Any help would be appreciated!!!

Q: 2006 G35 Sedan.Service Engine Soon (check engine light) came on. Took it to local auto parts store, ran a free diagnostic. Gave me code P0420 which reads --- Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) No other codes are with it. Just that. Randomly happened as I was driving home from work.So whats the difference between Bank 1 and Bank 2? Since my issue is only bank 1. Passenger side?? Does that help me find out what is causing this code of P0420 that I have??Honestly I haven‘t had any bad issues or symptoms. Gas mileage is still fine, no problems idling, going uphill, flooring it, or anything. Car doesn‘t smoke, any still runs like new. Just with this code on. I did notice that one day, it came on. went to bed and started it in the morning and it was off. But then came on again in a few days. Been on ever since. What does this code tell me? O2 sensors even though it doesn‘t throw a code that says o2 sensor or sensors is bad? The cat? Exhaust leaks? Thanks for the help!
