Q: I get this error when switching on my camera. It was working fine during the day and taking pictures normally but in the evening I got this error message and the camera can‘t focus. The lens barrel does come out of the body as usual. The camera had been kept in a bag all day and hasn‘t caused any problems before. Look in the manual and see about resetting it. Or go to a oil/lube place and im sure they would be more than willing to help you for free.

The first and easiest thing to check is the gas cap to make sure it's tight. If that's not it, it's likely a sensor problem. You can look around the engine compartment to make sure there aren't any disconnected or damaged wires. Beyond that, it's probably best to have the error codes read. The codes can be read at a dealership or repair shop but most auto parts stores should also be able to do it. Each error code corresponds to a more specific problem, for example a malfunctioning oxygen sensor (that's a common one).

I replaced the gas cap, evap. sensor and vacuum hoses. This did not fix problem. I then removed the vacuum hose from the purge solenoid valve and squirted two quick squirts of silicone lubricant into the vacuum port of the solenoid, while holding it in the upright position, replaced the vacuum hose and drove around the block.
