Q: How much would it be to just get a mechanic to look at it or is it just that my engine oil was cold that this happened the temp Gauge was way over in the cold side: likely an O2 sensor, or could just be the need to running till it gets warm drive it on th highway for awhile and it might clear. that warning light IS NOT critical. you can get it scanned and find out exactly what tripped it later, but it's not something you need to worry about immediately.

Q: I have a 1995 Chevy Blazer, and it has problems starting, idling is very shaky, and I smell burning all the time. I replaced the EGR valve, plugs, wires and caps, but was told the catalytic converter is now the problem. Q: I‘ve not had a gaming system since I had to pawn off my Super Nintendo to pay the light bill back in college. Now that I want one again, I‘m clueless as to which to go with. I want to play games like Grand Theft Auto and TCoR: Escape from Butcher Bay (think that one is only available for XBox), mostly action, shootemup, fast cars kinda games. I have no real clue about what‘s the difference between XBox, PS2, Wii. I don‘t even know if there‘s anything else out there.So, all you gaming junkies, help me out here. If you were starting from nothing, and liked off the hook action games, what system would you go with, and why?: Looking at the types of games you like, I would say a PS3 would be the best new system for you. It's not got a lot of games yet, but it has the most advanced hardware, so over time, it will be better than the Xbox 360. But don't spend thousands of dollars on that new stuff. Get an old Xbox (not a 360, the old xBox), then get it modded. Yeah, the graphics won't be as good as the new stuff, but you haven't gamed in a long time so you aren't going to miss that. You can buy an xBox for less than a third of the price that you will pay for a new system, and the games cost next to nothing. Then, for $200 get your box modded. There are hundreds of sites where you can look to get that done. Once that happens, you'll have emulators for all kinds of different old systems. NES, Sega Genesis, Atari 2600, your old Super Nintendo, name it, and you'll also have a whole lot of other media functions too. Do yourself a favor and look into what a modded xbox can do before you drop $185,000 on a PS3. I wouldn't trade my xbox, even up, for any of the new systems. *edit* The Xbox 360 is the descendant of the original xbox. It's a new system entirely. It's a more advanced system than the xbox but it isn't as flexible.

Q: I have a 1997 Plymouth Breeze with the 2.0 four cylinder engine. The light came on over the weekend and I took the car straight to Auto Zone for a scan of the OBD2 system. The only code that registered was P1494, I called the chysler dealership and they said it was a leak in the evap system. Most likely cause was a loose or missing gas cap. I checked for this, and even went to the expense of buying a new one. After the new cap was installed, I had the code erased. I reset my trip meter and drove about 90 miles and the light came back on. I‘ve had a mechanic check the lines and hoses running from the fuel tank to the charcoal canister and then to the engine. All were tight and in good shape. I was also told by the dealership that the leak detection pump might be bad. This is a small vacume pump that keeps a constant vacume to the evap system. My Haynes manual shows this pump, but my mechanic says there isn‘t one on my car. I‘m now being told the problem is my O2 sensors??????: it could be your O2 Sensor maybe. The only way to find out is to replace it have the code erased and see if it comes back on. It could also be the actual evap system sensor it self that triggers that check engine light is malfunctioning. See if you can find the leak detection pump your self. If you can try replacing that as well by your self if not show your mechanic this pump. There is no way to find out what the actual problem is until it's fixed you are just going to have to do one thing at a time to figure it out.

Q: Can i just do the big 3 upgrade to my factory alternator and battery. Would it hurt my alternator or battery? I don‘t want to get another battery or a capacitor. Should i match my power and ground wire size. Thanks in advance.: getting a battery would just be the easiest thing. start with having it check (free) at a local auto parts store

Make sure you get a good one tho because if you get a cheap one your lights will still dim.

Q: Is there any way to disable the xbox 360 auto-shutoff function after an overheat. For some reason my xbox will overheat after five minutes of being turned on room tempature. I have throughly investigated this and have came to conclude that their is something wrong with the xbox‘x abillities to read internal tempature because it overheats with for no reason. I cant afford to pay 100 dollars to have it fixed so I was wondering if I could somehow make it so this auto-shutoff display 2 flashing lights function to stop and have the xbox continue to play.: Im I am correct, I think the auto shut-off function is a fail safe system requirement. There is no way to shut it off without actually opening your xbox 360. P.S doesn't your xbox have a warranty? or a warranty of the place where you bought it? That could save the 100 bucks and get a new 360. Otherwise if you really do have to open the xbox and shut off the feature somehow I do not know how that might breach the xbox's warranty with microsoft.

Q: yesterday i went to the gas station when i went to start my car it wouldnt turn over or do anything so i got a jump start and it seemed to run ok but after a few miles the radio and dash lights started to flicker on and off. then after a little while my car stalled and died at a red light and wouldnt crank over again it would just make a fast clicking noise i got it towed home and let it sit overnight and today when i went to try to start it, it started up just fine without me doin anything to it help what could be wrong i dont know where to start oh btw its a 88 toyota tercel: No It means your brake fluid was low Maybe caused by a leaking brake line,wheel cyclinder or caliper .
