Q: I'm looking to purchase a coffee pot for my upcoming apartment. As an avid coffee drinker and a bargain shopper, I'm looking into everything. I had a friend recommend a french press as well as some other brand name appliances. What are the differences and similarities to having a french press? What other things do I need to purchase along with a press and how does the coffee compare to ordinary pot making coffee?? Thanks!
some people say that coffee from a french press is much more flavorful, and I agree with them. The way it works is that the coffee grounds steep in hot water longer and you get much more flavor from the coffee grounds. A regular coffee maker works with dripping hot water through the coffee grounds. A lot of people like this method also. It's also very convenient for making a lot of coffee. The cons on making coffee with a french press is that you need coarse ground coffee. All preground stuff is made for regular coffee makers. Also, it's a hassle to clean a french press. Also, you can't make large quantities of coffee with a french press, unlike a coffee maker. If I were you, I would find a french press at a thrift store since they always have used ones for cheap there. Try it out and decide. edit: youtube has great vids on how to use a French press.
Q: Setting up a home gym, currently have a barbell and dumbell set but no bench. Will doing a floor press build significant mass until i can get a bench?
just do weighted pushups, dips, and flies until you get a bench. your chest will thank you
Q: How do I know what direction to press my seams?
There are two reasons: construction and color show-through. Construction -- When you sew opposing seams it's best for them to be facing in opposite directions, That way they kind of snug up against one another and make a nice tight join. Show through -- The rule of thumb is to press to the dark so you don't have a dark seam allowance possibly showing through a lighter quilt square. Some quilt directions will tell you how to press, but basically you have to think ahead to the construction phase to determine which way is best. Good luck with your quilt project.
Q: can you give me a press releases list (free submission would be great)
The key is to check if the press releases of that site is in Google News (there are free ones that have been banned by Google for posting fake press releases). If it is in Google News (search the name of the site) at least you know that your release will get out somehow as some don't have any distribution at all
Q: I'm 17 and I'm a beginner to weightlifting. I have a weight bench and barbell in my room and the max I can lift on it is 20kg. I was reading online and everywhere I looked everyone is putting the flat bench press down. They say to do a workout of incline and decline and that the flat is bad. Is that just because they have been training for years and it doesn't work for them anymore ? Is it ok for me ? Thanks in advance :)
Flat bench is one of the best complex exercises you can do. I personally prefer incline presses because I get a better range of motion on them (I'm fairly short) which helps bit my triceps a bit better, but if you're using a barbell this wont be too much of an issue. If you can find a way to alternate between incline and flat bench then that would probably be your best bet - maybe swap each week?
Q: I am writing a paper and I need to know how the printing press caused the reformation, and how it lead to political, social, and economical changes. If you know any articles websites or books about this please let me know. Also any facts about the subject would be much appreciated.
never! Luther did no longer ***** with regard to the advertising of indulgences yet complained approximately some people abusing the prepare. to your coaching, because of the fact it style of feels to be the genesis for lots of your errors, the Bible is Sacred custom and the Bible states to hold quickly to that custom in spite of if we receive it in written style or oral as being exceeded down via apostolic succession by applying the apostles of our Lord. this custom has no longer something to do with the traditions of the regulation that are condemned. Catholics don't think that traditions are evolving yet are a factor of the deposit of the religion by applying Jesus and the disciples. Please coach me everywhere interior the Bible the place it says to jot down Scripture? shop a while the Bible information no such command. coach me interior the Bible the place it says that the Bible is the only source of fact? shop a while there isn't any such assertion. What the Bible does say is that Christ's Churhc has all coaching authority and the Bible ensures that the coaching would be genuine asserting that the Church is the pillar and beginning of the fact. Nowhere interior the Bible does it recommend that the Bible is that this source or beginning of fact. The sale of indulgences replaced into no longer incorrect however the abuse replaced into incorrect. The Doctrine of Purgatory is genuine. God bless you! In Christ Fr. Joseph
Q: I am a 17 year old girl and I want toner and skinnier legs. If I do leg press will it thin up my legs?
Benefits Of Leg Press
Q: Try to learn to play the guitar and thought I was doing ok but my fingers were not hurting and and no matter how I try it the tips of my fingers are always touching more then one string. The book says I'm not pressing hard enough on the frets . so i press hard but now the string I press sounds mute an my tips are stopping the strings below the ones I'm touching from playing ( mostly the 1st and 2nd finger but some times the third like with a B7 and a c7) so one finger is press two strings.. what do I do?
If your book really says that, it's wrong. You NEVER press on a fret, you should press just behind it. If you press down ON the fret then, yes, you will mute the strings. You should press just hard enough for the string to make contact with the fret and vibrate cleanly. If your guitar is reasonably set-up it should not require much pressure. Pressing any harder will most likely send the string(s) sharp and make your fingers and even your whole hand sore. Touching strings with your fretting fingers that you don't want to touch is a completely separate problem that has nothing to do with how hard you press. Everyone has this problem when they start playing. You need to position your hand and fingers correctly but it's really just a matter of practice. Make sure that you are fretting individual strings with the tips of your fingers - not the pads - and that your fingers are coming down on the strings from above and not from the side. Often it's the position of the whole hand that's the problem. I'd be practicing that with simpler chords like Am, D and Em before going onto chords like B7 and C7 which ate more likely to get your fingers in a tangle. As I say though, practice is the only answer. Good luck.
