- This isn't a question. By leg pressing you are putting yourself in a position to injure or possibly even break your spine, just saying. Sure, you can press 170 pounds, but can you do 100 squats; no, I don't think so. It isn't impressive as the weight you do on a machine is detracted by the machine, leaving you less work to do compared to free weights that *you* (not the machine) lift. Good luck.
- Q: If only one press is used, it takes the older press twice as long to print an edition as it takes the newer press. If the two presses together can print an edition in 3 hr, how long will it take each press alone to print an edition?
- Let x denote the older press's publishing rate (in editions/hr). Then the newer press's publishing rate is 2x (ed/hr). If the two presses work together for 3 hours, they produce 1 edition. 3(x + 2x) = 1 9x = 1 x = 1/9 So the older press does 1/9 of an edition per hour when working by itself, and the newer press does 2/9 of an edition in an hour. So the older press would take 9 hr to do 9/9 of an edition, and the newer press would take half that time, of 4.5 hr.

- Hey, I guess it due to heavy weight or when you were exercising you didn't warm up at the beginning. This pain might be due to a sprain in your thigh muscles because originally a leg press exercise focuses and puts most of the weight pressure on your thigh muscles. I advise you to skip using it for a day and make sure you run on a treadmill min. 5 minutes before starting other exercises. (And If you wanna do the leg press, just decrease the weight and exercise slowly, don't go to fast.)

- sometimes improvements take time. For me usually it took a course of a year since i always went in the summers. a few summers ago i was struggling with 135 and last summer i was struggling with 155 and this summer i was doing 185. When i return to the gym this summer im pretty confident ill get at least 200 lbs. Just have some patience because it usually takes time for results to occur. That is probably a max for you at that weight and if does increase it probably won't be by a large number. Just try gaining a few more pounds and then turning that into muscle
- Q: I applied to a for-profit university (Globe) and then cancelled the next day. After 2 weeks, they have not attempted to refund my application fee despite me leaving 2 messages. I was thinking I could threaten to give the press a story about my negative experience with them, like tell them I have connections with a paper or something (even though I don't). Is this legal? - LOL....go to the press?? Best laugh all morning!! You must have a fairly elevated sense of self worth if you think the press is going to write a story about an application fee not being refunded. Who would want to read that story?

- No. Some whine about not getting to manipulate the media as much as they'd like, which causes them to think someone 'else' is manipulating it. However no one wants to restrict press freedom.
- Q: Could i press a rose for a couple of weeks then put it in a glass picture frame?Will it keep?
- That should be fine. Just make sure the rose is completely dry. It's moisture that grows mold and things, but as long as the flower is properly pressed and dried (like putting it in a phone book, or a flower press), then you can display it just about any way you want.
