- Q: Whether the weight of the power cable per meter is calculated
- AC power is a two-phase exchange of the power system, itself is positive and negative exchange, the electromagnetic effect can almost count the daily life of the free radiation are more than this number, and can rest assured that the general life supplies, the larger electromagnetic radiation from the DC Of electrical supplies, which only need to pay more attention
- Q: I lost my Xbox power brick and was wondering if I could use a cable from my old ps3?
- of course not, they're made for a completely different system
- Q: I have a dell xps 420 and I wanted to replace the power cable as it's broken, the cable according to the specs looked like this http://cl.ly/image/311R232N120a and http://cl.ly/image/3L2C1h2V3C1X. Where can I buy the same exact cable with the same color code? I tried looking at OKorder, but didn't see any
- If you are located outside USA, let me know so that I can provide you the correct information. Let me know if you need any further support. I will be glad to help you. Dell-Niranjan
- Q: Hello, i have a quick question, this card doesn't need PCI cables right? My power supply is 450 wattNVIDIA GTX 750 TI is the cardThank you
- It does need power cables. Your PSU should come with them. That's all the cables it needs.
- Q: I have a 2003 Honda Accord. I'm trying to put an amp and sub in it. My problem is, I'm not sure how to get the power cable from the batter to the inside of the car. I know it needs to go through the firewall, but I need to know exactly where. I couldn't find any unoccupied holes. I also need to know where the other side of the hole will be so that I can grab the wire from the other side. Pictures would be really great if you have them.
- The simplest way to run a wire through the firewall is to look for a rubber grommet where the steering column, brake pedal rod, clutch pedal, etc. go through. You can make a small slit here, or slide the wire along side this component.
- Q: Acoustic Audio 10 inch home theatre powered subwoofer use speaker wire or subwoofer cable?
- As you used the phrase The wire that was included for the subwoofer, I'll presume that we're talking Home Theater in a Box here. As someone above mentioned, sub frequencies can use a lot more energy. In a larger system where you are consistently running several hundred watts over longer distances, a larger wire would probably be benificial. For a HTIB system such as yours the wire that came with it would be more than adequate over the short run that would typically be needed. Having said that, there is nothing wrong and nothing will be damaged by going to a larger gauge wire. Just not a lot of benefit.
- Q: The reason being is that I just got a new case and my power supply does not have enough 4-pin male power cables to actually hook everything up. The power supply is 750 watts, so it is strong enough to carry all of the charges. I just can't find one. Help?
- that is exactly what you need that you linked. nobody i know has the opposite because your psu is female and your drives are male. there for you need a male to 2 female splitter which that is. the only reason why you would have to go reverse is if something is extremely power hungry.
- Q: I know they can control networks but what about cable, what is keeping cable channels from just showing hardcore pornography 24/7even showtime has a no bottom/no thrust/no rod rule.I don't have HBO so I don't know what they use, but still do we really need the FCC to censor its obvious that tv channels aren't desperate to put porn on the air so why do we need the FCC (other the the frequency adjustments for radio and what not)
- The FCC controls what is broadcast over the air waves. Cable TV is by subscription only, so if you don't like the programming you don't subscribe. Broadcast TV requires no subscription and is freely available to anyone who turns on a TV set. If the FCC were not there to control broadcast TV you would soon see porn popping up everywhere, since it is about the only thing that sells.
- Q: Okay so I am trying to upgrade my graphics card and In order ti di That I need a new Power Supply Unit. The PSU I was looking at is a 850 watt one and it has six pin connectors. The problem is all my componets are 4 pin connectors. If I get the new power supply can I somehow get a 6 pin connector to fit in a four pin like a adapter or something. BTW in order for the graphics card to function I need a six pin but all my other stuff in 4. So is there a way to work that out
- Most modern component use SATA power cables. Some older components uses the 4 pin molex connector, and by old I don't mean old really, I mean recent. Even CD/Blu-ray drives are going to SATA power now though =[, so 4 pins may be phased out in the next decade or so. Many modern PSU's come with 4 pin molex connectors, PCI-e X6 pin connectors, and a variety of other connectors you'll need. If you really are worried just check the specifications, it should list all the connectors it has. If you're getting a 850Watt PSU chances are it will have some variation of PCI-E X6 pins, either x6 pin or x6 + 2 (6 + 2 basically functions like a 6 pin and will work just like a 6 pin, so don't freak out about that either). And most modern PSU's will come with plenty of 4 pin molex cables as well. Basically, you should be fine no matter what. And yes, there are 4 pin Molex to 6 pin PCI-e power adapters, normally it takes 2 Molex to power 1 6 pin though.
- Q: I got a Alienware m15x about a year ago, and about 8 months ago on startup it would make two incredibly loud beeps and a screen would show saying 'your charger cable is not the reccomended 150w originally shipped', even thought it is. It would only happen very rarely at first, but now its nearly every time. I don't mind just ignoring it, but if there is a quick fix it would be nice.
