Q: I took a vacation last week in Victorville, Ca and i brought my 360, well when i was ready to come back home i packed everthing but my Xbox 360 power cable, now im stuck at home and can't play my 360 or nothing..=[. And i don't wanna order it online. I need some help where to find this.
are u missing the whole power source or just the end cable? the end cable is the same power cord has a computer
Q: In the middle of the page there is a section called Connectors, i suppose those are the cables attatched to the PSU, but in total there are 17 cables so maybe i am wrong???It says that there are 6 SATA Cables that look like SATA Power Cables and are i guess haha.I'm pretty sure that the answer is yes, the PSU does have 6 SATA Power Cables attatched to it, but i mean when spending $750 on a gaming computer i wanna be sure lol.
SATA Power Connector: 6 - YES it does have. If your spending $750 on a computer i'd suggest you get a branded power supply, they last longer and will supply your video card with enough juice to get the job done. what kind of video card are you getting? depending on what card your getting 500 watts may or may not be enough, as the new nvidia cards are very juicy :)
Q: So here is the power supply, motherboard and graphics card I have.Power Supply: ATX-TL500W-BK Motherboard: GA-78-LMT-S2 Graphics Card: GV-N960XTREME-4gd As you can see the mother board is a (pcie 2.0), and my graphics card is 3.0 with a 6pin and 8pin slot on the side for It's power cables. My previous graphics card didn't need any cables to run to it, so I don't know what I need for going from the 3.0 to the 2.0, and I don't know where the power cables for the card connect to.Any help is very appreciated.
You have a big enough PSU--400W recommended, you have 500W available. The cables from the card go to the PSU. If you don't have the right one(s) then buy adapters. Contact card maker for those if you didn't get any in box or search Google.
Q: I have an electrical source 220 Kv or 380 KV at site X and want to pull cables to site Y to privde electricity for this Y site for general lighting and power sockets. So what is the max distance for the cables i can pull from site X without voltage drop affect the voltage or power at site Y.
Care to revise your answer? Unless you plan to pull hundreds of miles of cable, you had better revise your voltage. Thanks. Then I can answer your question. Also provide your POTENTIAL or PLANNED LOAD in terms of MVA or Amps. General lighting and power sockets does not help.
Q: Just wondering if the eVGA GT 440 graphics/video card needs a power cable connect from the psu to it.I bought a PC pre-made from JB HI-FI and going to upgrade my graphics card. The one I have currently is the Radeon HD 4650 and it appears to have no cable connecting to it. There are however, some cables connecting to the motherboard near it.
No, it doesn't need one, but it's also a crappy purchase. The Radeon 6670 costs about the same, doesn't require external power, and slaps the GT 440 silly.
Q: I just recently bought an amp from my friend. It is a fender frontman 15 w amp. I think it is one of the ones that comes in the strat pack or something. anyway, she didnt have the power cable for the amp that plugs into the back, and i kind of need this. does anyone know where i can find one or buy it. I already looked at fenders websight. anything would helpthanks
all i can suggest is try OKorder or your local music store, OKorder can be tricky because you could get one that gives distortion if it is not new, but if you are desperate, then OKorder or order one from your local music store.
Q: i was wondering if i can hook up 2 power cables each one going to a dif. amp one cable being 1200 watt and the other one being 600 watts.. i kno it would be easier to buy a splitter but i already have the cables i just wanna kno it i will ruin the battery or the alternator or something like that
I know this, the 1995 Buick LeSabre had two positive cables hooked up to one battery. It takes a longer battery bolt, easily found, and both cables need the side mount battery cable ends. You just put one on top of the other and put the bolt through both. It works fine. Don't know about the draw of your amps and watts etc.
Q: How to distinguish between power cables and electrical wiring on drawings
Especially the external hard disk box, when used very prone to this situation
Q: I have a Raidmax 730w power supply, and its modular. there is only one plug in for a 6 pin, and the cable has 2 different 6 pins on the same cable. Will this cable be able to run 2 different video cards running XFire? or will is also be able to run say a 6870 that requires 2 6 pin connectors?
You should be able to feed two cards that each require 1 6/8 pin PCI-E power source... or 1 card that requires 2 6/8 pin PCI-E power source. A cable with 6 pin provides 75W power to the card. With the 75W available on the PCI-E x16 slot, that would be a 150W supply. 2 6 pins will up the available wattage to 225W. Cards that require a 6 pin and 8 pin are 300W cards. Your cable/PSU port is designed to provide any of those combinations of power to the videos card(s).
Q: My PC shuts down by itself and even if i push the power button, it won't start again. I have to unplug the power cable and plug it again and then push the power button to start again.... it will work for 30mins-1 hour, and then it will crush again.
Either major problem (maybe power supply) or infection - Get it looked at by technician if no infections found by Malwarebytes and SUPERANTIspyware -
