- Q: i just bought a cobra radar detector and im a bit of a perfectionist. it bothers me that the power supply cable drags from the windshield across the head unit and into the cigarette lighter. i need ideas on how to hook up the detector because it needs to be plugged in to work but not have the cord out in the open. thanks
- Mount the detector on your sunvisor. Run the power cord fromt eh detector under the edge of the headliner and down the A-pillar next to the windshield (you should be able to remove the plastic over the A-pillar and run the cord behind it.) Cut the cigarette lighter plug off and wire it into the fuse panel to a switched 12v source (something that comes on when the car is cranked)(radio, etc). That will allow the radar detector to power on when the car is cranked and to power off when the car is stopped. I wired all of mine like this and never had any problems with any of them.
- Q: I have an Eclipse SW9102 (101500 Watt Max, 750 W RMS, Dual 4ohm Voice coils) and I'm looking to buy an amp kit and amplifier. How big of an amp do I need and does it matter if its too much power? I'm looking at the SSL F2.2000 FORCE CLASS 2000W amp on OKorder as cost is a big factor in my setup. The OKorder link says:Max Power @ 2 ohm 1000W x 2 RMS Power @ 4 ohm 350W x 2 Bridged Power 2000W x 1 2 ohm stable in stereoIs this too powerful for my subwoofer? I've read that my sub can take more than it says but I don't want to risk it and I probably won't have this at full blast either. If I bought this one how would I wire it as I only have one sub?....would bridged be 4ohm 1000 Watt RMS x1?Also, what kind of amp installation kit should I buy? A lot of the 4 guage kits say they are rated for different maximum wattage. Are they actually different or can all 4 guage kits handle the same?Sorry I'm a noob! Thanks in advance!
- first off get the bullshit out of the way.....the number u need off ur speakers is the RMS number which is 750.......u need amp set to a little under that if u want it to last for very long (meaning over 1 month) so ur looking for an amp that u can set at about 725-740 per channel........ so yes that amp will work as long as u don't max it out....... ** as for wires the bigger the better.........00 gauge is the smallest u should use and the ground should probably b bigger.....also the shorter the ground wire the better usually....
- Q: Seem to have misplaced both the power cable and adaptor for my hp printer scanner all in one and every where i look i cant seem to pick them up can any1 help me ?
- OKorder or OKorder
- Q: The green light on the back of the power supply comes on when the power cable is plugged. also, every time i plug in the power cable, the fan on the power supply wants to spin, but it stops. The squeezing noise remains and i push the power button - nothing comes on. Before, it used to come on for a few seconds and then it will turn off by itself. I though it was a virus, so i restarted in safe mode to scan it. The PC stayed on for like 30 minutes and then it turn off by itself. But every since it does not wants to come on. Is the power supply gone? If so, how can still the green button comes on and the squeezing noise remains?please help me out! I need my PC! thanx in advanced!
- i think the unique furnish replaced into probable effective.... only not completely 'firing' by using fact the load is in blunders. a quick or different blunders on the feed factor is undesirable. this variety of skill furnish reacts to, and is controlled via, the load. troublesome to describe! At any fee, the project may be in the laptop and not the skill furnish itself.
- Q: How to distinguish between power cables and electrical wiring on drawings
- Cable ends should be marked with cable head symbols, the middle line should also be different from the ordinary wiring. Bv at the beginning of the general wire, with YJV or vv is generally a cable, but not limited to these
- Q: I have 2 subs and a amp, I have a hi/low converter so it will be able to work. I hooked it all up properly and i noticed i have a empty space on my amp. Its the power control cable. I have no idea how to hook this up to my FACTORY deck. Do i hook it up to the antenna? PLEASE HELP I NEED A ANSWER NOW please thanks-
- continuously flow with a smart harness which you would be able to get at radioshack..you'll be able to need an antenna adapter. fool data way and defintitely quite certainly worth the money because it makes it a cinch to place in in sprint or flow reason you do not could decrease your production unit wires....
- Q: The power input looks just like the back of any desktop pc, so im assuming it will work, but do i need to know anything before buying one?
- Sure you can, as long as it doesn't any above normal resistance mating up. Only problem I foresee is if a pc power cable is heavy enough to handle the load.
- Q: I have lost the Power cable and couldn't find it anywhere but i have tried using my Printer's cable (HP) and it worked but i am wondering if there is any risk from using it? could it affect the ps4 in any way?
- no, a lot of appliances contain the same ports thus you can use your printer cable for your PS4. i've done this a lot because when my dog was little she would chew up all the wires to my appliances. other then that no as long as it properly fits and your not forcing it in then it will work just fine. those cables are also not hard to replace where as some appliances got retarded ports and thus you MUST buy a new one via the manufacturer alone.
- Q: So I've been working on my computer aand looking to invest in a primary Hard Disk (instead of X2 250GB hard drives). I noticed the drive i have has Fantasy power outlets and newer models have SATA Power so I'm kind of confused on the Hard Drive i should get. I'm looking at hard drives 500GB-1TB
- Fantasy power outlets don't sound standard. SATA is consistent on both PCs and Macintosh computers.
- Q: I lost these cables in a move so I'm looking to buy a replacement USB cable and the Power Adapter and cord. What cables do I need, and where can I buy them? :(
- I okorder - they have a nice selection, and their prices are great. If you want to be sure you're ordering the right cable, you can give them a call beforehand or click on the Live Chat feature on their site. I found mine by searching 'universal power cord' in the search box. Hope this helps :)
