Q: Want to do light bulb business, but do not understand the light bulb, which big god can teach me!
H7, H4, H1 are more common
Q: I think there‘s something wrong with my fuel system but I want to be sure because if if not,I‘m out $100 for the test. There is a recall on the fuel system. Here‘s what it‘s doing: I drive a lot of h-way time.About 2-3 months ago I started hearing a loud humming noise coming from the engine.I‘m just driving along with cruise control on even and just out of the blue the engine will begin humming. It‘ll start soft, get louder and then stay at one pitch. When I take my foot off the gas,it dies down and then everything sounds normal, but once I apply the gas, it doesn‘t take but a few minutes and it comes back.I had new spark plugs installed around the time my engine light started staying on for longer periods because it does go off but it doesn‘t stay off for more than one trip,I‘ve always gotten 30mpg and still am.I can‘t afford to be out $100.Does anyone know if this is fuel system related, or not?I‘ve heard Ford‘s are known for bad fuel pumps, is this true?
THE VERY FIRST THING YOU DO IS FREE. Take it to an Advanced Auto Parts store and have them check the trouble code. They will do this for free and it takes less than 5 minutes. This will tell you if that the ECM has detected a problem and it will tell you what it is. If its something to do with your fuel system (i.e. lean mixture) than start with a new fuel filter. They are $7 and take less time to replace than checking the trouble code. The problem also could be an air intake leak.
Q: I am driving a V70 Volvo and the oil hasn‘t been changed for 6k miles and 9 months. Now the check engine light is on. My car stalled on me once at a stop sign other than that it‘s running great. Could it be that my oil is old?
On cars today, there is a service engine maintenance light, as well as a malfunction indicator check engine light. If you haven't gotten scheduled, regular maintenance on your car and a technician hasn't reset the maintenance light, it would have come on. This is normal. If it is the check engine light, you should have your stored code checked at a dealer or a local parts store. If you haven't changed your oil for 6k miles/9 months, then the chances of the vehicle's OBD2 (on-board diagnostics) system indicating a failure via the check engine light is slim to none. First, unless your drive trips consist mainly of short ones that lead to heavy oil dilution (condensation, unburned fuel) due to low oil temperatures, 6k miles is for many cars, unnecessarily EARLY to change the oil. If you look at your owners manual, it will probably recommend at least 6k miles for normal driving. Oil change companies recommend 3k miles primarily to get business, based on severe (frequent short trip) driving style. If your engine uses oil to actuate solenoids in the oil circuit, and you have heavily diluted oil, the OBD2 system could potentially detect a slow response in the system. The best way to find out is to take your car to a dealer or local auto parts shop to have the stored code checked.
Q: There is nothing in any manual about these two options in the MMI setup and while I have read elsewhere that the "Touring Mode" has to do with where the headlights point I was hoping someone might know... I believe the "Auto Running Lights" feature have to do with the sensitivity of the full lighting system coming on but am not sure...
call your saleman. hell tell you exactly what those mean.
Q: I think the two dishes on the same, recently found two high tone is not the same, is not a problem with the lights? Or is it so designed? Solution
What car are you? Some car headlamp height can be adjusted, if not, you can find a shop to ask the master to help you pick the good, as long as not to the sky, no serious, can not split is not split.
Q: I bought a used 1999 Crown victoria from a dealership. it came with the blinking LED auto theft light, but it doesn't seem to work. does anyone know how i can get it to work? or where can i take it to get it re installed and get it back working again?
The light only blinks when the car is off. Wondering if maybe the anti-theft chip in the key system has been hacked, because the LED won't burn-out, there's no fuse or relay in the circuit to go bad. I have the wiring manual for my '02 Grand Marquis, which is basically the same car....Let me see where the blinker circuit goes ...
Q: how to get a ford focus air bags light of?
the light came on to tell you there is a PROBLEM not to annoy you, so take it to the shop, and have them diagnose the problem, this could be something as simple as a bad sensor, or you may need to replace some components in the system so it works correctly. If you do not have a code reader, go to any big auto parts stores, you can buy one, or if you prefer, they will let you, or help you use theres, and may be able to figure out the problem.
Q: Little brother's little Geely near light is not very bright, anyway, is not bright, sometimes almost hit, read a lot of information online, but I do not want to install xenon, saw a headlamp bulb, there is a light bulb is Philips What the blue light bulb, if the change is not a bulb line
Do not install the magnifier, the battery damage is quite large! Also can not get any effect too much!
Q: I had the engine exhaust light come on after a sensor was replaced in the gas tank for the fuel gage. I was told by the dealer that the light comes on when it senses a leak. However, after doing a smoke test they couldn‘t find one. They told me that they turned the light off and now I am worried that they did not put the gas tank back properly. The car was purchased approximately 2 months ago and I don‘t know if I should be worried or not. Any advice based on experience is greatly appreciated.
Sounds like the dealer did finish the job properly. However, to be sure, take the car to a second auto-workshop and have the exhausted system thoroughly inspected (Should be low cost). If you find any faults, take the car back to dealership and demand proper repair. Good luck.
Q: I am not talking about the oil light. How do I do it with the reset button? If I disconnect the battery I have to reset the clock, radio, etc.
Above is partly correct. You will need to fix what caused it to come on. You need an OBDII scan tool to check those codes. If you think or thought it was the fuel cap left loose, it will reset itself after 30 key cycles(Not 30 key on, key off trick either--has to have a drive cycle in between those key on key off trip) but yes, you will need to redo the clock, radio stations if you disconnect the battery. Would be quicker faster if you just went by a local auto parts store have them see what the code is then clear it. Most likely an oxygen sensor code
