3. Operation Condition

4. Impeller Design Characteristics
For the feculence pass freely, it must be widen the flowing passage of impeller, for the big pump, can used for double-vane, or three-vane, for the small pump, it used for single(double) flowing passage, like a bent pipe has same section, it has a good passing characteristic, avoid stop, convolve caused by slowing current possibly. - A water pump. Ninety dollars sound like 1.5 hours of work at $60 to $65 an hour. The car must cool off first. The car must be emptied of coolant . The serpentine belt must be removed. There might be other items that may need to be placed out of the way on this Impala, capitalized, Mr. Swayward, as car names are proper names and must be capitalized. Apparently teachers do no cover this in class any more. There are many bolts that need to be removed. There is a gasket that needs to be removed. There is a water (coolant) pump that needs to be removed. There is a new pump that needs to be installed. There is a gasket and a cover pan to be installed. There is a serpentine belt that must be returned to service by adjusting the tension. There might items that were removed that need to be moved back. There is coolant fluid that must in added to the vehicle. Past a certain point of adding coolant the engine is run to circulate the fluid to burp the system out of air. As the coolant levels goes down, more fluid is added. Repeat as needed. Once assured of no air then the radiator cap is placed and then work can be checked for leaks and for quality of work, A few minutes of monitoring the engine and the temperature are needed. An experienced mechanic could possibly do this faster but the labor rate comes form a book or website used all over the USA as the time an average mechanic would need to complete this job. As to your question. Is it reasonable? Since you know where on the planet you happen to park this car, then you could call another car repair shop and ask as to this job. You can compare prices.

- if the water pump goes out then the car can over heat,and if it over heats too much the motor can blow.then you will have to buy a whole new motor.it's really not a big deal to fix..for you it will be,but for a mechanic its easy.here is a BIG tip for you....i'm a car guy i do this all the time...plzzzz do not buy the water pump from a mazda dealership,you will end up paying hundreds..go to a junk yard and get a used one they work just as good,and if you can go to a near by occupational center where they have an automotive class they only charge $20 if you bring your own part.....hope this helps

- Q:Okay, I'm setting up an NFT hydroponic garden and am now looking for the water pump. I would like some suggestions for one that will give a steady stream at a good rate for the plants. But, it must have a minimum lift of 5ft to reach the first level.I would prefer one with a flow rate adjustment but if you could at least make a suggestion to the GPH it should pump for the right flow after a 5 ft climb I could search more in that range for one I like.Thank you!
- I think you may want to look at the small pond pumps and just about any nursery or home supply store or landscaping store. they may have the specs on hand, or see if they can demo one for you. some places have a display pond set up already. You also might try a small swimming pool pump and put a voltage regulator in the line and adjust the pump speed that way. maybe rig a sewing machine pedal in the line and use a C clamp for an adjuster. I love rigging thing. It may not work with a gfi plug.

- its possible. i dont reccomend it, but if you do, get a couple or few gallons of just water, depending on how big your radiator is, and keep an eye on your temp gauge, if it starts going up, shut off your car, wait 5 to 10 minutes, carefully open the cap on your radiator, and put water in it untill it fills back up. i had a busted water pump i drove 20 miles on everyday for about 3 days untill i had time to fix it, it wasnt a bad leak though, and that still sucked, i would honestly just pay the small amount for a tow truck for the 5 miles.

- Be careful what you buy. Most aquarium pumps are AIR pumps. Why not just use a siphon? As long as the storage tank is higher than the generator it will work. Get a hose or plastic tubing of the size you need, put one end in the tank. Suck on the tubing to start flow. To stop flow just pinch off the pipe or raise the spout above the water level. you might even install a valve if the tubing is large enough.
- Q:the car is a 1973 Pontiac Lemans, 350 V8. Water pump needs to be replaced. It's obviously a mechanical pump that's in there now. I was thinking of getting something with more capacity (to start off) as I feel the car could do with a better cooling system (and I have to get a water pump anyways).
