Q:I know how to press eyeshadows, and I had an idea (inspired by someone else) to mix eyeshadow colors and press them into eyeshadow pots, then sell them.Could I do this? And sell to my friends and such?I'm 15 (16 in February), I just don't want to be breaking any rules here haha.
i don't see the need cuz there are already so many different colors of eyeshadow out there. but, you know what, i was in a store like this in london where they had all natural makeup and eyeshadows pressed into pretty pots. maybe you can start a business like that 1 day. in order to be able to sell stuff like this, you'd have to think about unique pots, not just eyeshadow.
Q:Yesterday I got a travel mug from Starbucks that's a french press. Its my first time ever even seeing a french press so I'm a little confused I guess. I made a cup today and it turned out just OK, But I like cream and sugar in my coffee and I'm not sure the best way to make this yet. can anyone give me any tips...
So far I use it like an actual press and not a mug. Thus, I make the coffee and pour it on another cup when it's done. So far so good. Some people have complained about a plastic taste to their coffee if you leave the coffee in there too long (since the press has plastic parts). I've had no problems so far.
Q:ok so i shoot a lot ammo aint cheap and i'm planning on getting all the things i need to start reloading. i've been doing some research on it it seems like something i would really enjoy doing but i need to find out more before i start shelling out $$$. when you buy a press do you have to buy dies made specifically for that press or will any dies work?
With the exception of the Dillon Square Deal (which only uses Dillon's Square Deal dies) Every other press has the same threads as everybody's dies. So, buy the press you like and use the dies you like in it.
Q:i am an older female (56) and need to be able to bench press 75 pounds. I do not have a gym membership, and wonder if I can start to accomplish this with dumbells and if so how
AS A MATTER OF FACT YOU CAN USE DUMBBELLS TO DO BENCH PRESSES, BUT IF I WAS YOU ID START OUT LIGHTER THAN TO 40 LB DUMBBELLS , WORK YOUR WAY UP TO THAT WEIGHT AND I AM SURE YOU CAN DO IT. OKAY SAY YOU START OUT WITH DUMBBELLS. SAY 10 LBS OKAY THAT WILL BE REALLY 20 LBS IF YOU ADD THEM UP. AM GOING TO GIVE YOU MY EMAIL PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ADD ME AND LETS TALK ABOUT REACHING YOU GOAL AND THE SAFEST WAY TO ACCOMPLISH THIS .
Q:Alright so I have been lifting for about 3 months now...but my bench press is just not getting stronger. Ive been stuck at around 135-140 for anywhere from 8-12 reps depending on how i feel. I think I have pretty good form, I just dont know what I'm doing wrong. My other lifts are increasing, including other pressing movements such as my military press. My military press, in the past few months has gone around 80 pounds for 10 reps to now about 100 pounds for 10 reps, which I guess is ok progress but definitely not amazing. I am 17 years old, 6 foot 3 and weight about 170 pounds. I eat ALOT, and after workouts i supplement with protein shakes. I have been gaining weight fairly steadily. My only problem is my bench press, for some reason i just cant get it to increase. Thanks in advance :)
My friends at at fB practice told me dt repitions to hundred at 25 Reps as 4 sets ...idk if it works it haven't tried it yer
Q:i can bench press 110 pounds (55 lbs on each side) for like 6 reps , but i can do push ups in good form 40 - 50 and i weight 160 pounds how was this possible
You will have to go to the healthcare professional proper away if in case you have inner damage, in particular getting better from damaged sternum. Sooner or later, under no circumstances elevate without a spotter. This is precisely the rationale they're there. Do not attempt to raise a lot heavier than normal, principally when you're on my own. If it had hit your throat, you would have died or broken your neck.
Q:Does anyone own the cookie press from pampered chef? How do you like it? Are there any issues you have with it?
yay! my mom has it, just used it last night. she loves it. other than a few prints not working (like ever 4th one) its great. she likes it a lot.
Q:im writing a paper about gutenberg and the printing press, and how it affects Europe during the renaissance, and im stuck.so how did the printing press affect Europe during the renaissancesomeone help me please and thankyou=]
One large effect which you should include in your paper is the ability of the printing press to distribute the ideas of European church reformer Martin Luther after 1517. This was the Protestant Reformation fueled by printed writings of Luther and others. Luther translated the bible into German so people (who could read German but not Latin) could read it for the first time. Of course many could not read their own language in the 1500's, but there was always someone in the community who would read printed materials to groups of people. Books had been rare and unobtainable by all but the very rich until the advent of the printing press. The press allowed the spread of many ideas - religious and political being chief among them. Print was the first mass media. News sheets, opinion pamphlets, and books became possible for the first time. I should add that the established Roman Catholic Church of the late 1400's and early 1500's would murder those who tried to distribute the bible in the languages of the people - - and the Church would murder them as painfully as possible to discourage the others. A case in point is William Tyndale who translated the bible into English, was arrested, tried for heresy, and burnt at the stake in 1536. The Church feared allowing people to read the bible for themselves because that threatened the well paid and privileged position of the clergy.
Q:I enjoy baking as a stress buster and I was curious if using a cookie press was difficult in any way (including clean up). I've never seen one in use, but thought it would give my cookies a unique appeal since I don't know many people who use one. I adore those old fashioned, European style cookies.
No, they are not difficult to use, you just need to practice a little. I bought one last year at Christmas time, So I will give you a couple of tips: 1) Use the recipe that comes with the press. They made the machine, so they know what combination of ingredients will work best with their machine. Some cookie doughs are too stiff, some are too buttery etc. to work in the press you buy. After you learn to use the press, you can try adapting some other recipe. 2) Chill your cookie sheet. The dough will absolutely not stick to a warm sheet, which will cause you undue frustration. Chill it for a few minutes before you cook your first batch, but more importantly chill it between batches. I like to rinse mine with cold tap water until it is cool to the touch, then dry it really well and stick it in the freezer for a few minutes before making a second batch. 3) Get a good quality cookie press. I got a Wilton because it seemed easier to fill and it comes apart completely for cleaning.
Q:Setting up a home gym, currently have a barbell and dumbell set but no bench. Will doing a floor press build significant mass until i can get a bench?
just do weighted pushups, dips, and flies until you get a bench. your chest will thank you
