- Q: I know this is the wrong section, but most people frequent this section instead of Home GardenMy fiance and I just bought a house, and almost the entire backyard is covered in ant mounds. We have only had an apartment before, so have never had to buy ant killer and not sure which kind is best. We need it to work really well and really fast. We are moving our dog into the house and she will be using the backyard in two days. So something that won't hurt her would be great, too. If not, we can work around that. I just need to know the best ant killer for the best price. Any help is VERY grealty appreciated!! TIA
- amdro (the kind that's tiny yellow pellets), pour it around the mound. Don't use the dumb powder/fertilizer crap it doesn't work. Kill those bastards!
- Q: Is it possible to have a home garden in Vegas, or is it just to hot?
- You can have a garden in most environments, it just depends on the plants, you may find you might have to have things like ornamental grasses and cacti, things like these thrive on the hot weather, but also you might want to do some research on plants and find ones which don't require much watering, this not only makes it easier for you but also it lowers your water bill, meaning an easy, affordable and maintainable garden!
- Q: I live downstairs and I sub lease the 2nd floor which has no thermostat. 74 degrees is too hot for me...but any lower and tenant will complain of cold. Heat rises but upstairs is colder. I've tried a few tactics such as closing my vents and lowering the temperature slightly hoping for 5% more of total heat for upstairs. Still cold for her ! Any suggestions for a penny pincher with moderate handyman skills ?
- Install pump after boiler or if has pump replace it with high rise pump .In order of trouble shooting system may there's air in the system which it cause water circulation with delay .
- Q: What do Garden Gnomes do when we aren't home or asleep?
- They go to casting calls for Expedia and get put in commercials.
- Q: rats, mice, cleaning, pests, rodents, home garden, maintenance repairs, general
- THEY ALL WANT FOOD SHELTER....GARAGE DOOR ARE NOTORIOUS FOR LETTING THEM IN...YOU CAN SEAL, SCREEN, STUFF COPPER WOOL IN WEEPHOLES, CLOSE YOU GARAGE DOOR ON A SHEET OF CARDBOARD THEN SCREW A PIECE OF FLAT METAL ( ROOF DRIP EDGE, 1 1/2 METAL STRIP ) TO THE BACK SIDES OF OVERHEAD DOOR - NO MORE ENTRANCE, TRAP POISON
- Q: If I get a subscription of better home and garden magazine, I have to pay $ 20 monthly, or ones a year?? or what ?
- a few things you can try....you can try Bankruptcy, but like others have already told you it will depend on what you own and how much money you earn.......another way is to ride it out and wait the 7 years of limitation before it's erased off your report.....7 years begins from the date of last payment made.....another way you can try to get it down is borrow 50 g from your aunt Rose and call each and every creditor and ask to settle for 10 cents on the dollar but not more then 33 cents on the dollars...this way will work but make sure you have the money to pay them after you agree to a settlement amount. The smaller the amount owed the higher % a creditor will want from you and the longer it has not been paid will effect how much they will settle for. Make sure you get a letter of settlement agreement with company letterhead and authorized signature.......oh one more thing......wait 4 years after all is settled before being given credit!
- Q: Poll: Have you been to Paradise City where the grass is green and the girls are pretty?
- Nope but i have been to a few strip clubs where the money is green and the girls are sleazy.

Create some mode to your home by putting a water features, green plants and flowers. Get some ideas from your friends and website about garden and landscaping. To answer your questions, at my place i like to be in my nice little garden that located at my backyard, i got a lots of green plants that easy to mantain and most likely it give the cozy feeling when you at home on weekend. Hope that you got an idea... Mal,
- Q: A LONG time ago I had made a Tuna and Rice casserole, I used the recipe out of a very old Better Homes cook book. IDK what had happened to the cookbook, but it was the best thing I had ever tasted and I cant remember the whole recipe but I do remember some of its ingredients. I really only want the recipe out of a better homes cook book. So if you have one of these cook books, flip open to casseroles and 'if' it is there PLEASE share. I have looked everywhere for this recipe and I cant find it anywhere.
