- Q: Nursing home residents need to have their clothes labeled with their names to ensure that the laundry room returns the clothes to their proper owners. I hand stitched (don't know how to use a showing machine) to her clothes labels I made using medical tape a Sharpie pen. Several washings later, while the stitched tape is still holding fine, her name is starting to fade - apparently Sharpie pen ink can only withstand so many washings. I've searched high and low, but I can't seem to find any sort of quot;clothing labelingquot; device / system / tags / whatever. Does anyone know of anything? Thanks in advance for any helpful advice replies!
- I've okorder / I would tell my patients families on a periodic basis just to check the clothing items every couple of months, and maybe refresh her name on items that may need it. The washers and dryers in a facility are commercial and pretty heavy duty. Higher temperatures and longer cycles. I would buy several. Keep one hidden there in her room somewhere. In a institution a Rub-A-Dub marker is a commodity! LOL ( I always kept one in my desk drawer).Maybe keep one on yourself as well. Then as you bring her new items in, you can mark them as well. :)
- Q: We just bought a ranch style home in florida, it has a tan tile, more like shingle roof. I want to update the look, it is an old house, the colors it has now gray with black trim all over make the house look depressing and dingy. I haven't seen too many ranch style homes with a tan roof, so I'm just wondering what colors would go best? It also has a stucco surface, and there is a black iron fence with red brick that goes all around the house. It's out in a country like area, so I want to stay true to it's roots.
- keep the fence, but paint it Nevada style orange paint the house Rustic brown
- Q: I'm moving into a new home soon with a lot of painting projects and I seem to be stuck on the home office. I'm a fan of Feng Shui and believe that certain colors and elements should be incorporated in every room by reason. I'm not a big fan of clutter and like to keep things minimal and clean. Since it is going to be a home office, I'd like to stray away from heavy colors that can make you feel relaxed or sleepy. Can someone give me some ideas on what colors and elements you think I should incorporate in this room?
- Any cool color you can use your home office.
- Q: i am looking for stuff for me and my fiance new apartmentsearsjcpennykholsikea...

- Q: I'm working on learning how to be more self-sufficient, and living quot;off the grid.quot; One of the things I've been researching is gardening. Specifically, I'm wanting to start a well balanced fruit and vegetable garden. I live in the NorthWest, and we get a lot of rain. The hottest it gets is like 100 in the summer, and things usually freeze in the winter. What should I grow in my garden? The goal is to be able to grow food to provide for my family all year around. Yes, I understand I'll need to store some of it through the winter, and that I can hunt and fish, etc. Also, let's just say the size of the garden can be as big as needed, so no worries there. My focus is on what specifically should I grow to have a well balanced diet ongoing.
- it really depends on what you and your family like. you can also try new vegetables that you have not tried in the past. we have our own garden for a family of 5-where we grow tomatoes (you can make your own salsa), corn that you freeze for the winter months, cucumbers to eat fresh with salads or pickle them, okra can be fried, baked, or pickled. you can also do squash, eggplant, onions, swiss chard, peppers, broccoli. the list is really endless. you have so many choices. i would plant many rows of things that you know your family would eat and half rows of things that you are unsure of. i hope this helps and good luck.
- Q: Does any one tired olive garden bread sticks in home? can anyone give the recipe which you have tired out?
- I brushed the bread with butter and sprinkled with garlic salt and came very close to it.
- Q: Mine is in storage, and I need measurements for the Chicken Mole de Cacahuete (peanut sauce) I make it all the time from scratch but when I was first learning I used this as a guide for measurement purposes. My daughter now wants the recipe and I could only give her the ingredients with out measurements. An ingredient list with measurements would be great! I don't need the instructions. P.S. The Chicken Mole Verde or Mole de Tomatillo on the page opposite this in the cookbook is yummy too. I made it once when I was 14. Thanks to anyone that can help with this particular cookbook. It actually has some pretty good recipes in it.
- I happened to have this recipe in my personal collection. I don't have the other one. I have listed a link to the book below Chicken with Peanut Mole Sauce (Pollo en Mole de Cacahuate) Yield: 6 to 8 servings 1 (4-pound) stewing chicken, cut up 8 cups water 4 stalks celery with leaves 1 medium carrot, sliced 1 small onion, cut up 2 sprigs parsley 2 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon granules 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/2 of a 10-ounce can (2/3 cup) tomatoes with green chiles 2 slices white bread, torn 2 Tablespoons creamy peanut butter 4 whole cloves 3 whole black peppercorns 1 (1/2-inch stick) cinnamon 3/4 teaspoon chili powder 1 small clove garlic, minced Place chicken pieces in Dutch oven with water. Add celery, carrot, onion, parsley, bouillon granules, pepper. Bring to boiling. Cover cook over low heat 2 to 2-1/2 hours or till chicken is tender. Remove chicken pieces. Place in a 2-quart casserole. Strain broth; skim off fat. Reserve 1-1/2 cups of the broth for sauce (cover refrigerate remaining broth for another use). To prepare mole de cacahuate: In blender container place the reserved chicken broth, tomatoes with green chiles, bread, peanut butter. Cover blend till smooth. Turn into 2-quart saucepan. With mortar pestle crush cloves, peppercorns, cinnamon well; add to saucepan along with chili powder garlic. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat simmer, uncovered, 15 to 20 minutes or till thickened, stirring often. Spoon mole de cacahuate over chicken in casserole. Bake, covered, in 350-degree F. oven 30 to 40 minutes or till heated through. Recipe Source: Better Homes Gardens Mexican Cooking (Better Homes Gardens)
