- Q: I'm almost 30 and am due with my first child in December. I have worked a fulltime job since I was 17 mostly in nursing. My husband and I decided it would be best if I just stay home with the baby once she is born. My issue is I know I will go stir crzy after a month or so. What are some hobbies I can do at home? PS I can't do any art things(like drawing painting etc.)because I royally suck and can't grow anything so gardening is kind of out

- Q: What is the most informative gardening/landscaping book?
- I have one called the American Horticultural Society Encyclopedia of Gardening. It was published in October 1993 and is 648 pages long and the ISBN is 1564582914. I haven't found another book that is remotely close to providing all of the information and great illustrations that it does. There are several places that carry used ones online for less than $20. If you buy it new, it will cost about $60. The book basically tells you everything about everything regarding gardening almost. I highly recommend it.
- Q: what to do before planting, when to harvest and what to do before winter.
- Learn how to grow whatever you want to grow and then follow the directions you've learned. Too vague a question to answer any other way.
- Q: for your entire city/town in your stomach?I've got to sew the button back on my favorite pair of jeans again. Every month, like clockwork. No, this does not say quot;masturbaterquot;. ;-)quot;Home Garden - Maintenance and Repairquot; was the suggested category for this question. They've finally got it right!quot;Home Garden - Do It Yourselfquot; was the second suggestion. How apropos is THAT? :-)
- Home Garden, oh gracious I'm laughing too hard! We need to fix your plumbing lady!! Yes, I feel that way often. I won't go into the gory details here, but all I can say is, think positive. At least you don't have to deal with your time when you're bouncing down the road at 65 miles an hour in the dark balancing on one leg, holding the cabinet open with one hand, a box of wet naps in the other, and a maxi pad clenched in your gritted teeth. And after that you suddenly have a craving for Lay's Salt and Vinegar chips but the Truck Stop is OUT of them and you have to drive another 100 miles to the next Truck Stop in the hope they have some stocked up, so you pop motrin like it's candy and put on a loud Metallica song while your head is bouncing around like a bobble-head doll to the potholes in Oklahoma's atrocious interstate system. And then suddenly you have to use the bathroom but it's 47 miles to the next rest area, arrrggggg!!!!! Whew. That felt good to vent, thanks for that. ((Thricey))
- Q: I like the Better Homes and Gardens Cook Book (14th ed.)
- I okorder . I love trying new things. Right now I am making a crock pot clam chowder recipe we got from allrecipes- with a few alterations I think it will be amazing! Hopefully the kids don't stick their noses up at it! We are also baking cookies this weekend from a couple different recipes off there- I always go for the more popular recipes just so I can read the comments and know its good.
