6.Conditions of use
Pumps used in the following conditions should be continuously to work properly:
1. For water pumps suitable medium, medium temperature shall not exceed + 40°C
2. The medium PH value between 6.5 ~ 8.5
3. The volume of medium containing solid impurity is less than 0.1%, the size is not more than 0.2 mm
4. The power frequency 50 hz, voltage for single-phase 220 v, 380 v, three-phase voltage fluctuation range for rating of 0.9 to 1.1 times
5. Diving depth of no more than 5 m, is not suitable for irrigation and drainage of sewage and chemicals.
- Q: I have a 1986 Camaro and it is overheating. Thermostat was changed and fan is working. When it over heats it doesnt loose any coolant. Hoses are hot. I dont see any white smoke. No milky oil. Car runs good except sluggished going up hills. Dont see any leaks. I have notice that a water pump I replaced 2 years ago is all rusted on the outside. Could that be a bad pump? Why would a water pump rust on the outside?

- first be sure it is the pump that is leaking and not just a hose!!! I have seen the hoses leak and people brought me there car wanting me to fix the water pump and all it was ..... the hose was wore out and soft by the clamp and had sprung a small leak.... check that first before going all out and changing the water pump!!! also what size moter you have?? 4, 6, ?? makes a bit of a differance!! also check by the pulley, there is a small like hole in the pump.... see if it has a water type stain on it.... if so then the pump is going bad!!!

- Two more things to add... 1. Buy a chilton manual. it will help and give step-by-step instructions and pictures. 2. (assuming a 4.0l 6cyl) The water pump doesn't just come off. The bolts holding the water pump also hold the AC, Alternator, and Power Steering pump. Its not a big deal, but it takes a while and you don't take these out, just lay them to the side. Personally, it was worth having the local shop do the work.

- This is bad news. For some reason, you ran low on antifreeze. It may have been your water pump or a hose leaking that caused it. Here's the problem now. More than likely a head gasket is leaking, or a head is cracked. Either way this is a big job and should be diagnosed properly first. Sorry. Good Luck!
