APPLICATION:
CDL/CDLF is a kind of multifunctional products. It can be used to convey various medium from tap water to industrial liquid at different temperature and with different flow rate and pressure. CDL type is applicable to conveying non-corrosive liquid, While CDLF is suitable for slightly corrosive liquid.
Water supply: Water filter and transport in Waterworks, boosting of main pipeline, boosting in high-rise buildings.
Industrial boosting: Process flow water system, cleaning system, high-pressure washing system, fire fighting system
Industrial liquid conveying: Cooling and air-conditioning system, boiler water supply and condensing system, machine-associated purpose, acids and alkali
Water treatment: Ultrafiltration system, reverse osmosis system, distillation system, swimming pool, separator
Irrigation: Farmland irrigation, spray irrigation, dripping irrigation
Operation conditions:
Thin, clean, non-flammable and non-explosive liquid containing no solid granules and fibers.
Liquid temperature:
Normal temperature type: -15~+70,
Hot water type: +70~+120
Ambient temperature: Up to +40
Altitude: Up to 1000m
Pump
CDL/CDLF is a kind of vertical non-self priming multistage centrifugal pump, which is driven by a standard electric motor. The motor output shaft directly connects with the pump shaft through a coupling. The pressure-resistant cylinder and flow passage components are fixed between pump head and in-and outlet section with tie-bar bolts. The inlet and outlet are located at the pump bottom at the same plane. This kind of pump can be equipped with an intelligent protector to effectively prevent it from dry-running, out-of-phase and overload.

- Q: I think my water pump is going bad but figure id ask everyone to see what they thought. I leak coolant like the first 20 min i drive my truck and then it will seal itself up for the next day or two then start leaking again. It is getting leaked all over the belt and the fan is spraying it all around so you cant tell where exactly its coming from but i checked all the hoses and they are good and im pretty sure its not the radiator. Also, when it is leaking there is a loud whining noise when my trucks on and i heard that can be from the pump too.
- LOOK okorder on internet! WHAT SIZE IS ENGEIN HERE! FOur, five, six, eight yidner from WHAT COMPANY! NOBODY can answer thsi question for you without MORE DETAILS! THANX!
- Q: If I were to go to a shop, how much would it cost to replace my water pump? It's a 4.0 6 cyl engine.
- $70-$150 +cost of pump. Most shops have certain maintenance hours for certain jobs. Call around for exact pricing. Honestly, if you have a sockets (metric) and wrenches you can do it yourself in about an hour or two, maybe less. You don't have to mechanically inclind to replace the water pump on the 97 Wrangler. If you do it, I do recommend buying a Haynes/Chilton's book if you don't really have a clue. If you need to buy the tools, book, pump (gasket should come with it), water pump RTV, and coolant. That will still be a lot cheaper than paying somebody. Plus, you will get the joy of doing it yourself. Also, you could put the savings into a high-flow pump, vice original equipment.
- Q: water pump went out how do we find it where would it be located?
- On okorder /... When you're filling up the coolant, you need to bleed the system to get the air out. 2 bleeders, one right around the corner from the pump, and another back by the Thermostat housing. The 3.1L V6 in your Malibu doesn't use a timing belt, but a chain. Just take the serpentine belt off, take the pulley off, and there's the pump. 4 bolts for the pulley I think, and 5 for the pump. Easiest to loosen the pulley bolts, then do the final tighten later, while the belt is still on. Torque the Water pump bolts to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm), and the pulley bolts to 18 ft. lbs. (24 Nm)
- Q: water flow at faucet only when pump is running, but flow is slow
- boogies right. you could have debris in ur lines, an inadequate pump, or something much worse take it to a service center if its new it should b covered under warranty
- Q: i want to make this for a physics project for school. i found a video on how to make it, but i dont understand the physics behind. i have to make a model and a poster explaining the physics. i dont understand what to put on the poster so could someone help me with which physics principles this project would go with?
- It isn't practical to give a detailed description here. This is a positive displacement pump. The pump chamber is sealed so that as the piston is moved up the volume within the chamber increases. Water is pushed into this chamber by the outside air pressure. If the pump is located too far above the water source then the air pressure is not sufficient and you will produce a vacuum inside but the water still will not flow. When the pump is pushed down the water flows out. Now the one way valves are critical. We don't want the water to flow back the way it came and we don't want the water that we have already pumped to flow back into the pump. So a one way valve on the inlet will permit water to flow into the pump but not out of it. And a one way valve on the outlet will permit water to flow OUT of the pump but not into it. So with each stroke you a) reduce the pressure in the pump. b) water is forced from the inlet, past its one way valve and then into the pump. c) the pump is pushed down increasing the pressure in the pump. d) water flows out of the pump through the other one way valve and on to the output.
- Q: How much does it cost to have either the thermostat or water pump fixed on a car?
- Depending on the year and make, you may find some guys who'll do it for a case of beer for labor....just check with your neighbors. Seriously. My brother does this on the side sometimes.
- Q: Every year my family spends a week on a house boat at Lake Powell where it can get extremely hot in the day time. I'd like to build a mist system using pvc pipes and mist spray heads to help cool us down.I'm not sure what kind of water pump to buy? I've looked at different kinds from submersible to non-submersible, all with different amounts of PSI and GPM. I am not familiar with water pumps and could use some community insight.I want to make sure the pump I get does not burn out because of the back pressure it will get due to the mist heads only allowing a little water to escape at a time.I imagine my mist system would have 8 - 12 heads, reaching no more then 30 feet from water source to the end.Any pointers? Thanks!
- I am assuming your water source will be the lake …. I would be looking at a submersible pump possibly a pond pump but you need to know what the “lift” is going to be …from the point where you string the mister to the pump {possibly a 15 foot lift} and a pump that will give you at least 25psi. Because you are going to have back pressure, the submersible will reduce the risk of burn out. Also you need to build a simple enclosed container this pump can sit in, with at least a 4”water inlet hole covered with mosquito netting, nylon hosiery, or something to filter the water….otherwise you will constantly be removing the mister heads to clean
- Q: I have a 1997 15hp Mercury 2-stroke outboard. When I run it it runs great and does what i want it to do. However, sometimes it doesn't pee. I can still hold my hand in the stream when it does but its very very hot. It always pees when i run the motor WOT but when im just chugging along it goes out for a bit and then comes back on. Is this supposed to happen? I was told by my dad that the thermostat regulates the pump so that it doesn't cool the engine down too much. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated
- The radiator actual holds the water/coolant and the pump circulates the combination in the process the engine. Upon returning to the radiator, the water is cooled from air passing in the path of the fins of the radiator. The pumps activity is to circulate the combination to confirm that the nice and cozy water to relax for this reason, the engine is then cooled.
- Q: I am about to replace the timing belt in a 3.4L Toyota V6 at approximately 85,000 miles. The motor has had the Toyota red coolant, which lubricates a water pump very well. Should I, Or should I not replace a Toyota Water Pump also, at this mileage (85,000)? Could the original water pump last until 170,000? Thank you
- if it works dont fix it .ok .best leave it .
