Specifications:

Perfect for caravans, boats, motorbikes, trucks and camping. Use it with fresh or salt water with your deck wash or to run your toilet or shower. These pumps automatically turn themselves on and off when you turn the tap on and off. Comes with filter and fittings. These pump are for intermittent use only.

A great pump for those country folk, with a small family, on tank water who only need to boost the pressure from a tank next to the house.

We have tested these pumps and found they will operate to a 2 metre suction lift and 5 metre head with no problems.

1.Maximum torque and operating efficiency/higher operating pressure and/or lower amperage than competitive pumps

2.Long life, no leaks, strong corrosion resistant

3.12/24 VDC and 115/220 VAC motors standard (consult factory for other voltages)

4.Quality components for extreme performance

5.Numerous fitting options for greater mounting flexibility

6.Voltage:12V/24V DC Diaphragm Pump,115V/230V AC Diaphragm pump

7. Expecially suitable for marine and recreation vehicle, such as boat and ship. Also suitable for Agriculture sprayer

How a Pump Works

The pump is driven by an AC or DC motor

In front of the motor is a valve assembly containing two to five valve pump chambers. Each valve chamber has a diaphragm behind it in the lower pump housing. As the motor shaft turns, an internal cam positioned behind the diaphragms causes the diaphragms to be pushed forward, then back in a continuous sequence creating a suction. As this suction builds, fluid is pulled hrough the inlet, through the various valve chamber check valves to the outlet he volume of flow is determined by several factors including: the number and size of the pump chambers, cam offset, operating pressure, fluid viscosity.

Q: Hey all--I just paid $900 at the Volkswagen dealership to get my timing belt, water pump, rollers, and air pump replaced. Is that a good deal? Also, how does the timing belt replacement relate to performance? I noticed my car was a little faster than before (maybe it's because I was driving another car for 2 days).
You made a wise decision to have your car timing belt/water pump changed at the dealership as they are major components. I believe the $900 was well spent and will serve you well for many more years of safe driving. Unless the old belt was loose or slipping, thus possibly causing the valves to open at wrong timings, I don't think you will notice any difference in the car performance after the replacement, especially if it was a preventive maintenance at the recommended mileage. But I do believe you will feel some difference in terms of the engine smoother acceleration and responsiveness. The $900 spent can really do wonders sometimes, at least in your mind.
Q: Who can tell me such water pump medium flow direction should be what kind of, from left to right, or from right to left, is low into the higher?
In the picture, to the right is the entrance, the left is the exit, the water pump inlet channel section area generally will be bigger than the export.
Q: does water pump sealers work?
If your talking about the water pump for a car it doesn't have any pumps those would be the radiator pumps that are connected to the water pump and transmission which keeps the radiator and transmission at a temperature that keeps the vehicle from over heating. If you have a overheating car and a mechanic told you your water pump has a leak then sorry you would have to replace the water pump but just don't go to a popular mechanic for that because it can get really expensive do your research and find you someone with a garage it cheaper because the part itself is not that expensive it putting it in that cost lol. Hope this helps.
Q: This only happens while I am running water. I can hear the pressure switch clicking on and off the whole time I am doing dishes, laundry, ... Since it is only when the water is running I believe that means it is not a leak. I changed the check valve and that did not fix the problem. I checked the pressure in the tank and it seemed to be around the 20/40 mark. Any other ideas anyone? Thanks.
It sounds like the bladder in your pressure tank has ruptured.
Q: I would like to know how difficult it is to change a water pump on my mustang? Is it something I can do by myself? I do know about cars and can perform general maintenance, I am not totally ignorant to whats going on underneath the hood of my car I'm just not sure if I have the tools needed and how difficult it is to do. What tools do I need? Do I need a torque wrench? If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks!
It's not hard, just time consuming. You will need BOTH metric and standard size sockets deep sockets and/or wrenches. For the tensioner pulley you only need 18mm closed-end wrench and you can pull upwards on the tensioner to release tension on the belt. Use a brand new water pump. Do not EVER use a remanufactured water pump. With a new pump you will have a lifetime warranty from any of the popular brand name auto parts stores. For the water pump the battery being disconnected is not required. That is required depending on the car you're working on, but on a 5.0L Mustang it's not. Be sure to stop by Walmart or parts store and pick up a tube of Permatex Blue RTV. Apply a thin bead of RTV on the gasket mating surface then put the gasket on. Don't do this until you're ready to put the pump on. Be sure to use a good scraper to remove old gasket material from the gasket mating surface of the timing cover. DO NOT USE A TORQUE WRENCH ON WATER PUMP BOLTS ON A 5.0L MUSTANG. These bolts are very hard to find now. You only need to snug them at first and then hand tighten them. The factory bolts are notorious for corroding and becoming stuck in the block after their heads snap off. Do not turn the bolts too quickly and be sure to clean them off with a wire brush if they have ANY corrosion and spray them with lubricant before reinserting.
Q: i have a 2000 chevy malibu (i know it sucks) i fixed the intake manifold gaskets (upper and lower) thermostat and its still leaking and sometimes overheating. my next thought is its the water pump. there's no crack in the radiator or hoses is there anything else that can cause it to overheat besides these. what about vacuum leakage? o2 sensors?
some other possible causes of overheat: lean mixture inadequate oiling poor circululation due to restriction in water lines
Q: Why should the pump fill the air before running? What's the reason why the water doesn't go up?
First of all, why should exhaust air, pump suction principle is the rotation of the impeller, pump water inside the throw out, and then let the inlet pipe into a vacuum. Then, under the influence of atmospheric pressure, the water pressure is pumped into the pump. Therefore, if the water is not filled, the sealing of the pump is impossible to pump the air inside the evacuation of high vacuum. In other words, do not fill the water, you can not smoke water. You can hear the noise in the pump when the water bubbles under the bottom vacuumThe water doesn't go up because it doesn't have enough vacuum! The reason 1 is because there is no water filling,2, because your pump and water vertical height higher than the pump itself suction stroke.3., the pipeline resistance is too large (including the pipe diameter is too small, elbow and so on)
Q: The diving pump in the aquarium stops and stops on the goldfish
The submersible pump has been on all the time.
Q: A circular swimming pool has a diameter of 12 meters. The sides are 3 meters high and the depth of the water is 2.5 meters. How much work is required to pump all of the water over the side?
Let the x-axis point upward, with x=0 at ground level. Consider a thin horizontal increment of water, of thickness dx, located at some x (0 ≤ x ≤ 2.5). This water has mass dm given by dm = ρA dx where ρ is the mass density of water (in kg/m?) and A is the area of this increment (A = 36π for all increments here). This increment must be lifted (3-x) meters. The increment of work dW is given by dW = gh dm where g is the acceleration due to gravity and h is the distance that the increment of mass must be lifted (which we've seen is equal to 3-x meters). The total work W is given by 2.5 ?∫ g (3-x) 36π ρ dx 0
Q: The water burst how to repair?
This is used by welding and making AB calls
