General Description
The type LW pump is single-stage single-suction vertical volute centrifugal clear water pump. It is widely used to handling circulation water for power stations, mining drainage as well as water supply & drainage of municipal facilities and farmlands. It is provided for delivering clear water without solid particles or other liquid which is physically and chemically similar to clear water. The highest temperature of the liquid must below 50℃.

44— inlet diameter 44 inch.
P—the pump foundation plate is changed
Left—the rotation of impeller is clockwise looking from the motor to the pump.No indication when the rotation of impeller is counter clockwise.
22—the number obtained from the pump specific speed divided by 10.
I—Difference of impeller in construction, indicating Ⅰ, Ⅱ…… .
A—Outer diameter of impeller has bee changed. Indicating A, B, C…….
Structure
*The pump is vertically installed with the inlet vertical downward and the outlet horizontal extending.
*The pump and the motor are connected directly and mounted on one concrete foundation.
* The seal usually uses packing seal.
*The pump adopts rolling bearings.
*The impeller has construction of balancing rib.
* The axial force is carried by the motor.
The direction of rotation
The rotation of pump rotor is counter clockwise looking from the motor to the pump. Indicating “left” in pump type if you require the rotation of pump rotor is clockwise .Both rotation mode have same performance data.
Material of main parts
Impeller: cast iron/ cast steel ZG310-570/stainless steel.
Sealing ring: Cast iron /abrasion-resistant cast iron/stainless steel.
Shaft: 45# carbon steel.

- Q: Assuming that my water pump standard flow is 20m3/h, tolerance value requirements is + 8%, then is not traffic 22m3/h is not qualified?
- Tolerance coefficient is due in the manufacturing process, will, so each pump products are possible shapes and sizes do not conform to the pattern of the situation, and ensure the test results in the value (operating point) when compared, should be allowed to have a certain tolerance. It should be noted that these tolerances are only relevant to the actual pump and do not involve test conditions and measurement uncertainties.If the pump at a certain working point (the same lift) standard (Design) flow of 20m3/h, the actual flow of 22m3/h, indicating that the pump in the design process has unreasonable place, resulting in waste of power. Deviations from the manufacturing process usually have no positive deviation.

- Absolutely at the pressure switch, just under pressure. The shell open pressure switch, will see there is a spring, the screw is to adjust the pressure of the ~ ~ ~ try, and I've done a lot.

- year, make and model. regardless of what it is, most likely answer is the impeller has failed completely because it was not serviced regularly as it should of been. if you were out motoring around and it stalled out before you noticed it, you overheated the engine and it probably needs work for it to run again, if its even repairable. outboard the impeller is located just on top of the lower unit. pretty simple to change, but the exact procedure varies depending on year, make and model. sterndrives can be very similiar and just as easy, or different and even easier. depends on year, make and model. inboards the impeller is belt driven. look for the part dirven by the engine belt(s) with two hoses attached, probably down low on one side.

- That's an interesting question and it raises quite a few complicated hydro-engineering questions. If you used two pumps with the same output pressure, sequenced to switch on together, I do not believe you would increase the final output pressure over using just one pump. I'd think you'd need to have the first pump run to a pressure tank with a check valve and then use a booster pump to raise the pressure from that tank to the house meaning you'd need another pressure tank and check valve in the house. Have you looked at the air bladder diaphragm tanks that allow you to set the pressure by regulating the air pressure behind the bladder? This might be a better option than 2 pumps. Look at a company called Well-X-Trol.

- Q: I just had my water pump/timing belt replaced and oil change. When the pump failed, white smoke was coming out, which I figured out to be coolant from the smell. Now there is smoke coming out from under the engine, which I believe to smell like oil. Also, the temperature gauge goes up to the halfway point when I am at a stoplight or idling. The highest I have ever seen it is at 1/3.I had my car serviced by the dealership and I asked them. The man said its burning oil residue from the oil change and that it will burn away in a few days. Is this true? I have had my car worked on and oil changed for the past year at this dealership and have never had any smoke or other problems. What else could be going on? Worse case scenarios. - Q: guys i have a mini-water pump.....i wanna pump kerosene instead of water,to make a mini stove,on my own..my doubt is ...if the water pump is used to pump kerosene,will the kerosene ignite inside the pump itself or will cause any problem..i just want the pump to pump kerosene....will it ignite inside of the pump,because the pump runs on electricity....can u clear my doubt
- Is the motor of the pump built-in so that the pumped fluid flows through the motor also? If the answer to the question is yes then do not use the pump for pumping kerosene. However, if the pumped liquid does not come in contact with motor then you can use the pump for pumping kerosene. But ensure that the pump shaft seal is of mechanical type (so that kerosene does not leak from the shaft sealing area) with parts (specially any rubber parts) compatible with hydrocarbons (use viton rubber parts instead of EPDM)
- Q: Hi -- could someone please give me information on how much I should expect to pay for a water pump and to cleanse my coolant system (or something like that) or if it's something I really need to do. Or if I can get the water pump without the coolant system...My car is running fine, just started making kind of a rough running sound a few weeks ago when it's idling. ANY advice is greatly appreciated!
- it sounds like to me you dont know what you need. Is your car running hot if not then you dont need a water pump. But if it is then you should do the timing belt at the same time since you need to take the water pump off to do that anyway. timing belts a good for about 100000 mile.
- Q: first off i should say it is below freezing here....with that said, the water pump pulley is not turnning so.. the fan belt busted which leads me to believe the water pump is frozen...... right?i am currently traveling and have little money to spend on a new water pumpis there any way that anyone may know to dethaw a frozen water pump without damaging it?... i should say, the motor is running great, no cracks or leaks from the cold.

- Q: I brought my car to a shop because I get no heat. The mechanic diagnosed my car as having a blown gasket head because there were hydrocarbons in my coolant. The repair cost was too high, so a I figured I'd just run the car until it broke on me. A month later I see it overheating on the way to work and a month after that it completely powers down (electrically) while I'm driving and I see a lot of white smoke (coolant was all over the engine). After it's had time to cool down I can start it up just fine. I pour coolant in and it comes right back out the bottom of the water pump.Could a bad water pump have been the reason for the hydrocarbons and no heat in the first place? Could it have caused the appearance of hydrocarbons in my coolant? If the head gasket is blown and this is just a symptom, is it cost effective to replace the water pump or will it just break on me again in a short time?
- A bad water pump can not put hydrocarbons into the cooling system. I had a blown head gasket on my car and it had hydrocarbons in the cooling system.
