Q: just bought 1999 lincoln town cargot home and windshield wipers dont work.what could be the prob?
Indeed I have. I had to search to find what I consider a home. I also had to go through a journey after I turned 18 and was allowed to discover religion on my own. I was raised in a very strict Catholic environment and never felt that I got the answers I sought from the Priests when I asked them so I other religions but came home to Catholicism after I discovered it was really what I truly believed in. I now have a home in a church which I feel comfortable in. I do however have quite a few problems with the way that especially Catholic Church's are becoming so greedy. I think that worship is about God and you give what you give. Tithing was never about a $$$ amount, in the bible it was about food and trades. Now the church is so wrapped up in money that it is disgusting. I don't think any Priest, Preacher or any Man of God should be driving a Mercedes Benz or Royles Royce. They are supposed to commit their lives to Christ, not to a lavish lifestyle of living. God never was flashy so why should they be? Peace Love :)
Q: Why will my windshield wipers not go all the way down? We just had a big snowstorm, and I am afraid that I stressed the motor and now my windshield wipers will not go all the way down. They work fine, but when I turn them off after using them, they‘re about 3 inches up on the windshield. It‘s get annoying because it blocks some of my view. My car is 2000. Should I consider replacing the motor or is it an adjustment problem?
probably an adjustment problem. Take off the piece in the very back underneath your hood. Mine is a plastic tray looking thing It should run along the whole bottom of the winshield This is where your wiper motor etc will be, have someone turn the wipers on and see if you see any damage, debris, etc and if not maybe try spraying wd-40 on them, it could just be clogged good luck:)
Q: i own toyota 99 solara trying to change its wipers how do i know what sz i need to buy ? any one know what to do?
they are sold by size in inches measure them with a tape measure. do both some cars have two different sizes on the front window. the store might have a book near where the wipers are sold to tell you what size you need by model and make ans year of your car
Q: My windshield wipers still work, but I‘m constantly driving around like a dork because when I turn them off, they seem to think that staying in the upright position is correct. I don‘t claim to be an auto whiz, but I assume there is a motor that controls the wipers. Is there anything I can do short of sending it off to a mechanic‘s shop?
Very, very consumer-friendly situation. bypass to the Pontiac broking and the clerk will attain down below his counter and hand you a alternative wiper park swap as he possibly has some in inventory. adverse high quality swap that fails oftentimes i'm sorry to declare.
Q: We have a 92 ford mustang, and we have bought several different brands of windshield wipers and we always have the same problem, it won‘t get the water off of the driver side. The blades are fine because they work perfectly on the passenger side. What could be wrong? How much will it cost to fix it. Thank you. :)
Spring tension.i.e. the wiper arm is not putting pressure onto the blade. You can either replace the arm or try making a small bend into the arm to increase the blade to glass pressure.
Q: The wipers almost always turn on for between a few seconds and a few minutes whenever I use my turn signal (they are on the same lever) and they sometimes turn on randomly without turning. I have no control over it. They turn off whenever it feels like it.Its been doing it for about a year now, and I just can‘t handle how annoying it is any more. Faulty wiring in that lever? If so, can I replace the lever myself or do I need to take it to a shop?
I can't wait to see your answers, my 2000 ranger did the exact same thing up until I got rid of it.
Q: When the wipers are turned off, the one on the passenger side sorta sticks off the side, or isn‘t flush with the glass. When I drive the wind blows it, and it shakes. When I turn the wipers on, it goes flat agaisnt the glass and wipes. Does this sound like something you have heard of before? What can I do to fix it because everywhere I go, noone can give me an answer! Thanks.
length should be 22 in hook wiper , on the buicks its normal for the wiper to extend a little bit
Q: I pretty much just got a car, and dont know too much about them. What kind of windshield wiper blades do I put on my 1994 Camry (coupe)? I only need to replace the rubber right? And about how much are they?
The blade is the metal springy part with the rubber in it. Do yourself a favor and don't mess around with department store stuff which never fits like OEM parts. If your Camry is 13 years old you need to replace the blades. They couldn't have enough spring left to properly hold the rubber (which, by the way, is called a refill) against the windshield. Go to your Toyota dealer and buy new blades for your car. They should cost less than $20 for both blades, including tax. In a couple of years you can just replace the refills. The blades will last a few years and the new ones will make your wipers work like brand new. It's nice to be able to see where you're going in the rain, right? Good luck.
Q: I live in Wisconsin, so driving in the snow/sleet/slush is inevitable. I bought a car this summer (a 1992 VW Passat wagon), and was told the wiper fluid wouldn‘t squirt out. After buying the car, I took it to my mechanic (who my family and I have used for YEARS, and we love and trust 100%), and they said it was a wiring issue that wouldn‘t be worth the money to fix.I‘m just wondering if it‘s possibly something I could try to fix on my own (or with a mechanically-inclined friend‘s help), or what other alternatives there are.A local service shop down the road sells and installs heated wiper blades- has anyone had any experience with these?I‘m afraid I‘ll have to stick with using water bottles full of washer fluid in the event I end up in an unfortunate circumstance (I have a bunch on my front seat just in case, but would never put myself in the position of driving when I know the weather may get bad). Thanks for any help you can offer!.
you will get a bit more horse power with the knn prolly 15 or so but it will be more where you need it with a short ram you will only get hp in the high revs not really where your going to be driving airaid is good too their secret weopon is prolly my favorite style. and make sure you get a water cover for driving in the rain or you will be hosed pun intended
It is our hope to promote, by joint efforts, both trade and friendship to our mutual advantage. We look forward to receiving your enquiries soon.
