Q: There is juice at the fuse (not blown), I tried to hot wire the motor (Bat to purple wire, Grnd to black) with now results. I figured it was the motor, but the washers quit as well, so maybe the switch. It worked fine then would quit in a heavy rain, then re-start. Wipers are pretty much universal, just measure the length of your wiper or take it in the store with you and match it that way. The new wiper will have a new tab.

Q: 1997 regal windshield wiper one side works?: At the base of the wiper ARM, there is a plastic cap that can be popped back to reveal a nut. If the nut came loose, tighten it, if it still doesn't work, replace the arm. Remember to put the arm back on in the same position as you remove it or you'll have a problem. If your not comfortable with this repair on your own or with the help of an auto parts store. Seek a reputable mechanic And don't let that wiper arm slap back without a blade on it because you could very well break your windshield, or chip it. Hope this helps a bit.

Q: i want to turn a windshiled wiper motor one revolution at the slow speed and stop it at the same place each time. With a timer I would then initiate the cycle again. This is being powered with a twelve volt supply outside of a car for a project. I‘ve read any number of descriptions of the parking circuit but can‘t figure out how to wire it for this use.: The self-parking circuit is normally open switch in series with the supply. When you start the wiper motor you are closing a switch connected across the self-parking switch, so the motor starts. Once the motor starts, a mechanical arrangement holds the parking switch closed so that the motor continues to turn if the dash or column mounted switch is opened. The motor continues to turn until the wiper arm/s return to their normally parked position, and at that point the self-parking switch is opened by the cam (or whatever operates it) and, if the dash mounted switch has been set to off, the motor stops. The motor makes many revolutions for one sweep of the wiper arm/s. If you need the motor to make only one revolution you will have to make a cam which mounts on the motor's shaft and suitably shaped so that it operates the switch after one revolution.

Q: how do you change a windshield wiper motor in a 1995 ford taurus?: remove wiper arms remove hood there is black plastic under wiper arms under there is a black cover on the firewall with 1 or 2 bolts in it and on the drivers side there is the motor it has 3 bolts and a wire harness also there is a clip on the wiper motor assembly remove then install in reverse
