- When my tile dulled I took my car buffer and some rubbing compound and went to work cleaning all the worn in grunge and they popped with their original work. Just do not over buff. You can then get a sealer from Lowes or home depot and apply it to the floor to keep it nice looking.

- Well it depends upon what you mean by the actuator arm. If you mean the connecting rod that passes between the two wiper arm mounts under the cowl, most often these are nylon press on sockets that fit on a ball on the windshield wiper motor. Sometimes they just pop off, though mostly in winter when the wiper is frozen to the windshield and the stress of trying to move but being unable to causes it to separate. In this case it can just be popped back on. In other cases the nylon bushing has worn out and then it needs to be replaced. Often you must buy the arm too, as they do not sell the bushing separately. Now if you are talking about the wiper arm iself and where it connects to the drive shaft that turns it, that has a little flip up cover and a small bolt underneath the cover that you can tighten once you have both arms situated so that they will not collide in motion or strike the windshield frame on either end of their range of motion. FInally if you are talking about the blade arm itself, and theway it hooks into a sort of sheep's hook on the end of the wiper arm, it is not very difficult simply to snap it back into place yourself. If you look at the other arm you will be able to see how it fits.

- i ad a similar problem with a truck of mine. it may be dust buuilt up inside the switch. i had to ever so often turnthem on and off real fast to clear it out. seems the would work for a while after that. also check where the wiring harness plugs into the wiper moter, have had some trouble there to. as far as it bein the moiter it is possible but it will work every now and then so it kinda points else where.

The one on the drivers side easily removed the snow but the right side jammed and then broke off. - The longer wiper usually goes on the driver side. it really doesn't matter though, it's a one inch difference and it's not going to make a difference and mess something up. you could use two 21's and be fine.

- The wiper transmission is broken. A common mistake people make is they forget to turn the wipers off prior to the windshield icing. Once the key is turned on the wiper motor's internal workings either fry or brake or the the rods below the windshield brake. Remove the plastic cover below the windshield check for damaged componants. ???

- Q: I have a 99 z28 camaro and every time I use the wipers it mists. I‘ve tried every setting there is, and they will not go off. I‘m in California so it doesn‘t get freezing, but its cold enough at night right now that my car is always wet passed 9pm or so and I can‘t see!! It‘s not the inside, but my windshield doesn‘t have a chance to be dry because of the mist so it‘s always foggy. This is so frustrating, please help!

- If the blades are new, then take some ammonia water and newspaper and clean the windshield and the wiper blades. After that if it still does it, replace the wiper blades again. good luck.
