FAQ

Q: How can I get trained on CNBM products?

A: Yes, we provide training courses in our factory (products, general and specific pump technology, hydraulics, and practical applications). Please consult your sales manager or get in touch with our headquarters for more information.

Q: Are your pumps cheaper than those of your competitors?

A: CNBM aims to give its customers the highest standards of quality and service and delivery times, all at a reasonable price.

Q: Do you have self-priming pumps?

A: Yes, our product portfolio also includes two ranges of self-priming pumps: self-priming electric pumps and self-priming side channel pumps.

Q: Is it really necessary to fit a bleed valve for the boxes?

A: It is always best to have a bleed valve as the gas produced by the fermenting sewage is potentially hazardous.

Q: If I increase the power of the motor, must I also increase the power of the inverter?

A: You must select the size of converter that allows maximum absorption of the electric motor.

Q: I have 2004 Chevy Trailblazer V8 4x4 that the water pump went out on. Does anyone know how long it takes to change it and where it is located? The dealer wants $750.00 to fix it. I really don't want to get riped off.
Well havnt taken one off of a trail blazer but they are all basic.except on transvers engines the kind that sitfrom right to left, get the book on it and follow the directions you can do it. It takes time and its kinda funky but you can do it. The only thing that concerns me is that you dont know where it is at. Hey why dont you call around some shops are price different. Was this a dearler price? California shops charge about 75 to 90.00 per hour. It would take about 2.5 to 3.5hours for the job plus the pump get a good one.
Q: The water pump needs to be able to pull up water roughly 8+ feet. Ideally the system should include a filter to eliminate the presence of jellyfish. I need the most cost efficient solar panels with wattage provided. The battery used would be something similar to a deep cycle marine battery. Additionally I must figure out the amphours. Does anyone know where I can look up previously constructed systems or my best method of approach. Whom should I seek help from? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The price range we're looking at is around $1000.
This okorder / Most of what you need as far as the electrical side of this project should be on my site... As far as the aquarium design and choosing the pump, you're on your own. :)
Q: Pump flow 6M3/H is an hour, how many tons of water?
1.5KW pump if the head 90 meters, then the flow of 2 tons, more than the most
Q: I have a 1969 Chrysler with a new 3 core radiator. It still has the stock water pump and I am wondering if a high volume pump would make it run cooler at higher speeds. It runs hotter when you get off the freeway. I have flushed the system and installed a new thermostat. I also replaced the fan clutch. I am at a loss of why it still runs warmer than the 180* thermostat.
maybe the fan is too far away from the radiator to efficiency pull the air at slow speed. They sell spacers.
Q: they say a water pump going bad is supposed to weep out of that hole....Yet I see that a new water pump kit has two gaskettes.some o rings....is it likely that it can leak from these sources and still not come out the weep hole? They talk about berring that could go bad or seals gone bad...does this occure in the area that gets inserted into the engine( the turbine portion of the pump)if you had to guess..where is the most likely area for a water pump to fail...if seems like I have wetness off to the left( back toward the firewall) and less off to the right( front of the car)..more off the left..it is very subtile off the right.I don't see anything coming out of the weep hole..BUT the weephole is directly on top( dead center)and back towards the engine in this model. I have the car jacked up on the passengers side/next to the wheel wellso the fluid is most likely to flow backwards toward the drivers side.
Here's the deal. You have to look at your cooling system as a whole system, not just a collection of parts. What makes you suspect the water pump? Is the vehicle overheating? Are you loosing coolant? How many miles are on the vehicle? Everything is a clue to the answer. Where is a pump most likely to fail? Anywhere. A lot of times the impeller will break, but sometimes the gaskets rot out, sometimes the housing itself cracks, sometimes the bearing freezes up. Could be a couple different things. I am assuming by your description you have some type of transverse motor. Could a bad water pump be spraying coolant all over your firewall? Sure, but so could a bad hose or bad clamp somewhere. A hole in the radiator could spray coolant that far back under pressure, although you would probably see moisture around the radiator as well. It's impossible to say without inspecting the vehicle in person. My personal opinion, stay away from the big name parts retailers employees unless you KNOW they know what they are talking about. Some of them do, many don't. They are hired to sell parts, not diagnose problems. Even if they do know about vehicles they can't give an accurate diagnosis without looking first hand. You are better off to find a small local shop with a good reputation and have them look at your vehicle for you.
Q: I think the water pump on my 40 hp mercury outboard 2 stroke is not working, the hole witch usually pours out all the water that was used to cool the engine does not pour any water at all. Is this a problem with the water pump? If not what?
Check the water intake is not blocked. Then the water impellor. Then lastly check the water tell tail outlet hole is not blocked/obstructed.
Q: What things in my car could the seizing of my water pump cause? As I stated in another question, the power steering went, the red battery light came on and it over heated. The mechanic said it seized and i'm lucky the engine didn't seize. He has to look into it more. I'm just really curious as to what kind of damage i've done and the possibilities! thanks in advance.
It really depends on the car and how hot it got when it overheated. most likely you will need a new belt and of course a water-pump. Possibly you have cracked a cylinder head or warped it, this mostly occurs on aluminum cylinder heads and is unlikely if cylinder heads are iron.
Q: implementation of regulator in water level control system
I call the guy who installed it if he reputable he abound fix it if hes a jack. Then call a real plumber.
Q: 2001 buick centurywater runs down at area of crank shaft
I concur with the weep hole definition. However, when coolant starts to leak through that hole, it is time for a new water pump. Which engine do you have? If you have the 3800 V6, that pump is fairly easy to change. The 3100 and 3400's water pumps are also fairly easy to do with some twisting and turning of the hands. Either way, make sure you get the right water pump for your engine.
Q: Is this a symptom of a bigger problem or do I just need to replace the water pump?
Your water pump may have a bad seal or gasket, would be best to replace water pump.
