- Sounds like the switch behind the drive button is bad. Not worth taking in. Any repair cost, if they could make such a repair, would probably be more than a new CD in the first place. If you're adventurous and/or have a little technical skill, you could buy a replacement CD drive and put it in yourself. They're not altogether very hard to install. Hope that helps.

- of course it shouldn't !! when you say the press you refer to a number of media companys who operate under strict regulations and corporations law. These laws have been thousands of years in the making since the founding days of democracy. ALL companys are bound to operate under these laws. They are there for a reason. Why should media companys, who are out to make a profit just like all other companys, have superior rights and priveliges to others ? legally they are an entity which has the same rights to both benefit and punishment as an individual. that is to earn a profit from work done to pay taxes and to not harm others in the process. as it stands today, the media and parts of the political/social elite have far too much privelige. to then allow the press to illegally wire tap conversation for example just makes no sense. why would you want a society that allows its highly untrustworthy media agents to do this activity ? especially since it breaks numerous privacy laws that we're ALL bound to !! In any case, if they ever get away with it, then it opens up the posibility that everyone will register a small business and operate as a media outlet, like a blogger, then use this position to set wire taps on rich peoples houses and set up camera in their bedrooms, and then use this media privelidge to get away with it. i mean i am sure murdoch gets his walls painted or fixes his toilet from time to time.. i'm sure it would produce some highly interesting and profitable material for a media business. so the traffic can easily flow both ways if the laws let the big moguls get away with this any longer.

- There are two types of press passes: those provided by the organizers of the event you're attending, and more general ones provided by the news organization you're a part of. Regarding the former: Depending on the event, you may be able to get press credentials for your blog, or for freelancing (see if you can get a local paper or magazine to sponsor you). Some events will only let in members of well-known media, but others will let in anyone who is going to write about it. Call the planners of the events or check their web sites to see if they offer these sorts of press passes. Regarding the latter: Again, just print out or order a business card identifying yourself as a freelance blogger. These should be enough to get you in to many places. The more well-known you become and the more you're published, the easier it will be.

- The measurement refer to the distance from the table to the drill chuck, and the travel of the drill bit.
- Q: what kind of clothing is this for? can you dry regular t-shirt, Polo's, pants, jeans and shorts on this setting? how long does it take? and if ur dryer only has high, Permanent press, and low, is the press a medium heat? i am trying to avoid shirking.......
- Permanent press is a medium setting. You can use it any time you would use medium heat. I keep my dryer on the 'permanent press' setting, and only use 'high' for things like dog blankets that I don't care about.
- Q: I tighten the belt as much as I can (sorta hard to adjust) but it still jams. It's an inexpensive mastercraft 10 model. The belt looks fine to me but I don't know what to look for. It jams a lot, almost unusable with a 7/8 forstner bit. Really annoying. I would definately get a new belt if I thought that was it. I think it didn't jam as much when it was new. The other day the belt just came off while running for no apparent reason (it was plenty tight). Thanks for any help anyone can suggest. Could it be alignment?

- You'd have to press a weight against your nose and strap it around your head for a long time and then stretch your nostrils sideways to make your nose look wide. If you give in to your fear you'll start believing it. If it's really getting wider it's because it's naturally wide, not because your envious brother is pressing it. Punch his nose in if he keeps doing it. If you want, take a photo of your face every week for a few weeks and compare.
