- Q: my tummy and lower back and sometimes parts above my spine hurt when i press on it. I get really bad back aches as well.
- Could be from constantly pressing on the areas.Stop pressing on those areas so often,and see if the pain subsides.And,if not...see your doctor.It's never a good idea to continue to press anywhere on our body that alone will cause pain.May have started out with pulled muscles,and then you started pressing on those affected areas causing even more pain.Just an opinion/guess. Take care.
- Q: does press-ups make breasts bigger. i mean, not the chest muscle, but the breasts themselves?
- Press ups yes they can make them look bigger but more or less they were made to look fuller. A padded push up now that makes ya look alot bigger then U are! I think id rather look fuller meaning up more and postioned right.
- Q: I am very flat chested and want to develop some pecs, preverably within my own house. Will doing push ups and bench press do this?
- Weighted or elevated pushups will certainly help a lot, the bench is where you will do most of the muscle building though. low reps with high weight is how you develop muscle mass, just remember to take some protein supplements after you work out to help build up that muscle. good luck to you.
- Q: I'm 6 Foot and weigh 189 Pounds, my max bench press is 215. How much should I be able to bench?
- If you can bench more than your body weight, you are doing fine.
- Q: When wondering if a guy is strong the other person will always ask how much the guy bench presses. But I can kick the crap out of people in football by popping and tackling them and even won a couple fights against people saying they can bench like a 150 pounds. I know they can do it though but I can only bench press 100 pounds like 2 times but am stronger than people who bench more than me. Does it just mean that I have a weak chest or that bench press means nothing or that I;m weak?
- Bench press doesn't mean as much as people say. People fail to take into account that the body adapts to certain movements, so you can bench a lot if you have really good form and practice. A guy who rarely benches will lift much less but may be in much better shape (which seems like that's your case).

- There should be a ridged part of the bar its like Put ur hands thumbs length to the outside of the length part, and tell your spotter to lift the bar when you count to 5. So count 1,2,3,4,5. As soon as he's lifting it take a deep breath and slowly bring it down to you're chest, and push it all the way up. Breath Out, Then bring back down, and repeat, etc.
- Q: i coach a 6th grade school girls team and we played in a league last year were you couldnt press till the last half but this year we moved to a bigger more competitve league that presses the whole game.last year during the 2nd half all the teams played full court man to man. but they would get confused when the other team subed.so i would like to know a easy to learn press that puts double teams on the ball handlers cause at this age they usely dont have but a couple of girls that can handle the ball and can easily go to half court if they beat the press across half court
