- Q: If only one press is used, it takes the older press twice as long to print an edition as it takes the newer press. If the two presses together can print an edition in 3 hr, how long will it take each press alone to print an edition?
- Let x denote the older press's publishing rate (in editions/hr). Then the newer press's publishing rate is 2x (ed/hr). If the two presses work together for 3 hours, they produce 1 edition. 3(x + 2x) = 1 9x = 1 x = 1/9 So the older press does 1/9 of an edition per hour when working by itself, and the newer press does 2/9 of an edition in an hour. So the older press would take 9 hr to do 9/9 of an edition, and the newer press would take half that time, of 4.5 hr.
- Q: Is it alright if I apply pressed powder or loose powder without using foundation/bb cream? Will it cover the pores and acne on my face?
- No. Powder is used to set ur foundation not BE ur foundation. Wearing powder alone, it'll just get absorbed ny ur face every few hours and you'll have to keep reapplying. If u have acne then u do need a good foundation to cover that up cuz powder will only accentuate it. Stick to ur bby cream or and apply powder over that for a set look that should last for the majority of ur day.
- Q: Isn't the push press basically the same thing as the military press just with a small squat?
- A push press is done by using your knees to get the weight started and pushing it up about 1/4 to 1/2 of the way where a regular or regulation military press is done without any use or help from the knees and it's pressed solely with your arms and shoulders from a stand still position. In the push press it's more like a jerk than a press.

- Both work the same target muscles. The chest press does alot of the stablising for you so not as many assistant muscles are used. The bench press is a progression of the chest press. When you are able to use the chest press and maintain perfect form then you are ready to progress to the bench press. Because you need more stability when performing a bench press it will be harder and you should find that you can not lift as heavy at first. If you have not used the bench press before start light and make sure you have someone to spot you. Once you have mastered the bench press you can progress to a dumbell press and then to a single arm DB press.
- Q: I have a pampered chef cookie press that does not cut the shaped dough after I pull the trigger twice. Why does the dough stay stuck at the end instead of popping out and what can I do?
- LOL. Using a cookie press is a two-handed operation. I grew up on, and still use, a manual cookie press. You probably need that third trigger shot. The dough needs to make contact with the cookie sheet. You sort of feel it with the hand opposite of your cookie press hand. Temperature also plays in the equation. If the dough is too cold, it will not stick on the cookie sheet. Good luckl.

- Machines are more stable comapred to free weights. So on the machine bench press (probably the chest press), you can do more because the weight is more stable. Free weights tend to wobble, which brings other muscles into the equation. So while you can usually do more weight with machines, free weights are generally better for overall strength gains and form.

- Q: Now, is it me, or is this workout vaguely effective? Is this truly a genuine chest workout? I have always done flat bench dumbell presses and incline bench presses, and have just introduced the Decline into my workout. Despite this being a new workout for my body, I do not get sore, nor do I feel exhausted. Also, I can Decline about 15 pounds more than I can flat bench and Incline, despite having little experience with the workout. So tell me your opinion; is this a good workout? - I really don't think it's very affective. Really, push ups would more of a chest work out.
- Q: The title says it all but to be more descriptive, I like a auto key presser software,* something like when F5 is pressed, keys number 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ,5 will be pressed by sequence with an interval of something like 2 seconds.* example:F5 is pressed.1 will be pressed then after 2 seconds2 will be pressed.then so on. If you know what I mean. :) thanks
