Q:How does your factory do regarding quality control?

- Q:Explain the garlic press to me. Are you just supposed to squeeze juice from it, or does the press mince it up? And do you get the same results if you just finely chop a clove of garlic with a knife? My friend says a garlic press is a must-have for the kitchen but I've never owned one.
- It depends on what you are making and how fine you want the garlic to be. I have a press, but I hardly ever use it because I cut it up really fine and if I want to mince it, I simply press it with a spoon, so no it is not a must in the kitchen. I recently bought a garlic grinder which works much better, let's me decide how fine I want the garlic and its a whizz to clean, unlike the press which is a headache. I forgot, the press minces it.
- Q:Will US Customs press charges against a Canadian?I was shipping some personal items (clothing, books, documents etc.) to the US through UPS from Canada and US Customs found a very small amount (only 2 pill bottles) of what they call steroids. I was told that the packages were returned to Sender (Sender being me) as a result. Will US Customs pursue this further? Will they press charges? What will more than likely happen? I am a Canadian citizen.
- You are a slippery dud: What they call steroids? They were steroids. At least have the backbone to admit you were smuggling steroids across the border. They may or may not press charges. If they incarcerated every bonehead they caught with 2 bottles of nut shrinker they would have to build two new jails a week. You will be fined and probably harassed but they may take pity on the penal system and let you slide without jail time. Next time you decide to have one of your knucklehead adventures, don't try to slip one by the US Customs Service. They are smarter than you and probably stronger with all your steroid use. I take some very powerful drugs that are needed to treat a condition. When i travel, I always carry a letter from my doctor stating not only that i have these things legally but the exact nature of the condition I am taking them for. By doing things legally, I cross borders all the time and often, the same people see me the second time. They STILL ask for proof. Customs has a job to do and they do it well ... most of the time.
- Q:I've been wanting a bench press for a while now and 2 days ago my dad bought me one. When my mom saw it, she was being a ***** about it and told my dad to return it. I got really pissed after that because he promised me he'll get me one. I guess it's because it's big. So now I'm stuck with the barbell and 2 25 pound weights. - Electric press? I've seen electric tortilla cookers, but these only cook the tortilla - they don't press the ball of dough into a tortilla. And anyways, no one buys those things anyways. I've seen the old cast-iron presses for sale at any Mexican mart, or in the Ethnic Aisle of my regular grocery stores. They simply press the ball of dough (corn, flour - makes no difference) into a tortilla - they don't cook it. You'll have to use a frying pan for that.

- I have love letters between my Grandmother and Grandfather before they got married from 1924 with pressed flowers in them. The flowers still has original colors, Blue, Red. Yellow. Of course they have not seen daylight but 2 or 3 times in all these years.

The Press is called the Fourth Estate for a reason. If they are not able, for whatever reason, to report on the actions of the government then they are not able to fulfill their purpose. And what is the primary purpose of the Press? To serve as a check and a balance against the government. You can't have the fox guarding the hen house, it just won't work.
