- Ever since the Internet Era started, that's all they seem to do. Trying to improve their ratings and circulation with an ever-abundant stream of stories and people using their cell phone cameras to invent news stories.
- Q: I NEED to wash something on permanent press cycle on a washing machine but I don't have the cycle, what other cycle would be equal to permanent press?
- Permanent press is outdated now -- used to be for no-iron fabrics like polyester -- used to be popular back in the day, like the 70's. I would wash on the delicates cycle, but it really isn't that big of a deal, so don't worry yourself too much :)
- Q: Should the student press be afforded the same rights as the regular press?
- I was a Mass Comm major, and worked on Student Radio and all that jazz. To your question.....ummmm. no Freedom of the Press Lies with the person who owns the press. Example that college. As a student press you are subject to school ruling and what they feel is appropriate. So if I want to start a paper and say something bad, i would start my own paper , so I could do this. This is what I have been taught, not that I completely believe it.
- Q: I really really want to increase my bench press. During school last year I did 135 lbs. I wanted to do better this year and do better next so I went to the gym and started lifting weights. I barely did bench press because I did not have a spotter. So instead I used dumbbells like depending on the day and workouts I do it rangers from 25-35 lbs. And I also chest press 110 lbs 10x and I do 3 sets. Today. I did 200 reps in curling ( did pyramids 2x starting at 50 lbs ) and incomplete it 2 with 5 reps per weight So when I tried to bench I couldn't bench at all. Is it cuz of this?? I did a bunch of triceps and chest exercises before this.
- Do the bench press first then the supporting exercises for the bench press.

- Q: Can you get stronger by doing this, I don't have access to bench pressing.
- It depends on how much weight the barbell has. If you have a lot of weight, then yes you can get a lot stronger in place of a bench press. You can do dumbbell bench pressing, which is the same as a bench press but with dumbbells.
- Q: I have been a Plate maker in offset printing for 5 years and ran a digital press for a year is this Flexo press hard to learn and understand? What does the assistant press man do on a Flexo graphic press? Any info would help. Thanks.
- I am a former 4/color stripper, cameraman, platemaker. This is how it was done before computers. I have some knowledge of computerized stripping. I have been in the business for over 30 years. An offset press is an offset press. They all operate pretty much the same way. With water and ink. Flexo printing is done for labels that are put on bottles. Believe it or not the image is distorted in prep. This is because the label wraps around a cylindrical or somewhat cylindrical container. Believe it or not the distorted image comes out looking right because of the shape of the container. An assistant pressman's responsibilities will vary from shop to shop but you pretty much are helping fill ink fountains, putting up paper, hanging plates, setting color, and you get to wash up the press among other things. It has been awhile but I do miss it. If you are good you can write your own ticket to a certain extent. I am older now and it was kinda fun thinking about this. I hope at least some of this helps. - I'm not very fond of wax paper because due to it's very namesake, the moisture isn't able to escape as well as doing it the old fashioned way. Yep, can't beat a dependable book type press with some sheets of plain old paper. ^_^ g'luck!

- He Has NO Right to hit you even if he drinks You can press charges for assault. I would Press charges because if he did this to you and if you have any one who is a witness that would even help you more but call the Police Now and explain to them what happened he should NOT disrespect you and to slap you I would put him in Jail for assault charges as soon as you can.
