- Q: I'm new at pressing my mac pigments. I recently bought a bunch of mac pigment samples. I have two of each color with eaxactly 1/4 tsp in each. I read that your supposed to press with 3/4. Is it okay to press with less than 3/4?
- Hi! Yes, definitely. You don't have to have exactly 3/4 tsps for it to work. 3/4 tsp might be the measurement needed to fill an eyeshadow pan, if that's where you're pressing your pigments. But then again, it's up to you if you want to fill the pan or not. You don't actually have to be very scientific about pressing pigments. Basically, keep dropping a few drops of 91% alcohol, mix it, and once it gets to the point that it's the the mixture holds/clumps together (you don't want it to be runny, and you'd know if it's still dry). If you put too much alcohol, you shouldn't worry b/c it dries up anyway. It just makes it hard to shape and press it. That's why the key is to put a few drops of alcohol at a time. There's really no exacty # of drops to # of teaspoons of pigments. I've pressed a LOT of pigments myself, and I don't even measure how much I use. Just be sure that after pressing it (press it firmly!), leave it open to air dry :)

- Switch it up and bench free weight dumbbells on a standard bench. It forces you to balance the weight you are benching, not just push it up.

- Basic exercise physiology.... Muscles only contract. Doing leg presses on a machine will work the big extensors only... The rectus femoris and associated muscles. It will do nothing for the hamstrings, the muscles that pull your lower leg up. Also, if you keep your foot flat on the lifting plate, nothing much for your calves. You can only thin up your legs by loosing fat generally. A lot of women tend to deposit fat on the thighs, which is a never-ending source of annoyance... The best thing for you to do is to concentrate on aerobic exercises like running or cycling, which are the most efficient at burning calories. Do some weight lifting as well, women especially need weight-bearing exercise to maintain bone health. But concentrate on aerobic work to loose excess fat. Don't neglect diet either; it's all working together.

- No, because you have no idea who did it. Even if there are camera's in the parking lot, the police are not going to be bothered with a couple of door dings. My question is why did you park in a parking space where the other person had parked over the line. I realize you didn't want to walk any further than you had to, but now you have two door dings.
