- Q: My computer has ran fine for almost 6 to 7 months and just recently shutdown, and when I boot it back up, I get a red message and a beeping noise saying quot;The power cable is not connected to the video card. I thought it was a heat problem with the computer so I shut it down and left it for a while to cool down, but I still got that message.
- What part of The power cable is not connected to the video card do you not understand? You need to open your computer and connect the power cable to your video card. It has somehow become disconnected.
- Q: a usb cable has 5 volts and 2.5 watts. so can it still power if it has 5 volts and 1.5 watts
- Uh...YES! The voltage matches and the current will be regulated by the resistance of the device being powered. It will work fine.

- Q: I have an ASUS G1SN-X1 and my laptop was working normally while plugged in. Then all of a sudden it stopped charging the battery. After it stopped charging the laptop was running off the remaining battery power. The battery eventually runs out of juice but now i can't turn on my laptop because the power cord won't charge even though the power indicator light is on on the power cord supply. I even took out the battery and just left it plugged in but still wouldn't turn on. Any suggestions on what the problem could be and how to solve it?
- Seems to be a short circuit. This is a common problem with Laptops, including Asus Laptops. I've had Dells, Asus, Lenovo, and HP laptops and each laptop's power cord has broken at least once. Unfortunately, you're out of luck. You will need to buy a new power cord, which could run you anywhere from $15-60, depending on the vendor

- Q: I just bought a Sandisk MP3 player e200 series. It come with a USB connector which according to the product manual, its also used for power charging.Unfortunatly, it doesn't work with my laptop. I've tried to used the USB cable to charge but no power transmit to the mp3 at all. I guess my USP port in my laptop has too low capacity.I would like to buy a separate power cable for my MP3 but I am not sure if it is available. I can not find information in the Sandisk website either.Anyone knows that is there a seperate cable power for this model and where can I buy it?
- Sansa released a base station not to long ago that I love. The advantage to it is that it can not only charge the player, but it can also allow you to connect the player to a stereo system. It even has a remote control with it for the player. I got mine on OKorder just search sansa base station. This option is great for just charging and player it in the house. The advantage to the wall charger is that it is more portable. If you are looking for something to travel with that will probably be what you will want.

- Spray down the plug wires with WD-40 and enable it set for 10-15 minutes. initiate the motor vehicle and notice what occurs. the reason it runs like crap is that the wires did no longer do a sturdy activity of preserving moisture from getting interior the boot. - All TV repair people have all the power cables they could need. BUT... if they think that your fault could simply be a fault in your cable, then they may take it with them, though they would be more likely to try swapping it on your premises before removing the set.

- It's impossible to tell if it's your PS2 or the cable. Best bet is you buy an original PS2 power cable and try it out. If the PS2 still doesn't power up, it's something wrong with your PS2 and you will have to get it repaired or buy a new one.

- not all graphic cards need them. But lately the graphic cards are using up quite a bit of power, especially the high-end ones. So if the graphic card has a pci-e power connector. Chances are it will need it. Otherwise your computer might show graphics are there will be error when trying to play games or other graphic intense applications. The same thing is happening to graphic cards, that happen to processor a few years ago. Not that long ago processors could just be powered by the energy coming from the bus line on the motherboard, but that is not true anymore and now we use 4-pin or the new 8 pin axillary power for the processor.
