Q: I am trying to find a 4 Pin Fan Power Splitter Cable or my computer since I only have 1 4 Pin Fan Power jack and I want to use 2 4 pin fans. I am having a really hard time trying to find one in hamilton: Before hooking that up, check the specs on your motherboard to see if that fan header will support loads from both fans. You may need to get a Molex to 4-pin converter and power directly off your power supply.

Q: I just got a cheap intel i3 custom pc build on OKorder. But, i have no idea on how to set up all those PSU cables and the fans and everything else (seller thought it was a great idea to unplug every cable inside, which led to me turning on the pc assuming everything was good to go which led to the cpu overheating after turning it on) But anyway, i need to know how to setup the psu cables. My PC looks like a mess with all those cables jumbled up together. There are 4 distinct think cables sticking out from the PSU and all the other cables come from the case or the fans. Some of the cables come with numbers (1, 2, 3) and some are already plugged into the mobo, so i don't want to touch those. How to do this?: CD/DVD drives and hard drive all use the same power connectors (multicolored), so plug them in whichever way you want. There is no specific order. Don't remove any ribbon cables, and if you wish to have a floppy drive, the power cable is slightly smaller than normal ones. Commonly, fans can be plugged in to any port on the motherboard as long as they reach without straining the cable. They can only be inserted one way and are likely three-prong so it should be easy. The numbers on your cords don't matter.

Q: i replaced my ps2 power ribbon cable with a slightly diffrent ribbon cable but it had all the connections just like the original one. i plugged in my ps and i heard that slight clicking sound of the electricity entering the ps2's cuircut such as it always has when it was working fine. but when i plug the ps2 in the lights on the power buttons wont come on and they havent come on no matter whitch way i turn the cable. i would really like to get back to KH2 bugt this is getting annoying. what is up with my ps2 that even though everything is connected i cant seem to get the power lights to come on. help!: reassemble it again .pull out out the power cord and reattach it .it happened to me and thats what i did

Q: i wanna know how much distance should be in between the power cable and the cat5 cable: after standards cat5 cables are not run parralell with power cables, instead intersected

The 250V 2.5A rating is the maximum for the cord which is beyond what your projector needs.

Q: what can i do so i can use my DL burner on my new pc?: EIDE (Enhanced IDE) is no longer a standard on most computers which uses SATA. In turn, they also use different power connections. The channel cable is dependent on the mother board, but the power supply is dependent on the power box. If there is an IDE channel, but no power cable, you have only two options. 1. Buy a new SATA based drive. 2. But a new power supply. Buying a new power supply to replace the one you have is definitely a void of warranty. You are much better off with a new drive.

Q: I'm trying to install my radeon x800 xl graphics card into my dell inspiron 531 desktop. After inserting the card in the pci-e slot, and connecting the monitor cord to the card, I thought everything would work fine. I booted the computer and I got the error quot;You have not connected the power cable to your video cardquot;What do I need to do? This is an older video card, and I may have lost this supposed power cable. I'm lost with this and my computer won't even boot now. Any help is much appreciated. I'm willing to buy this power cord if i need to.: there are lots of connectors coming off PC power supplies that provide 12V and can likely drive your graphics card. So if you want to get really brave and do some soldering you can probably make it work. For example, if you're not using your floppy, you can chop off that connector and wire it to your card.

Q: I just finished building my shed, I put a 1 1/2 inch conduit under the shed coming up into the corner. I am now about to dig the 65 foot trench back to the house. I need to run power, not a problem. I want to run a phone line, a network cable, and a cable wire for my satellite. I say shed but it is 12 by 20 feet with an attic. Can I run these additional lines in with the power. I was thinking about using a run of Shielded cables for the network and one for the phone. They just bury the direct burial line literally inches from the surface. If its good enough for them...... For your data and network cabling...Do you picture yourself surfing the net in the shed? Use a WiFi signal. I thought of the broadband needs of a seperate garage building and found that (for my IP security camera mounted on the garage) that a WiFi signal was plenty! I'm talking a hi definition (I only use the best for security cams) colour full motion bandwidth intensive camera here. WiFi is carrying it glitch free.
