- Boeing has a lesson learned book of knowledge they design aircraft to. The B-747 have several system install for flight controls. As an example the primary control surfaces Stabilizer and rudder are controlled by dual multifunction computer and flap control includes three computer systems. The horizontal stabilizer trim: fly-by-wire high lift, and dual yaw dampers, which include modal suppression, provide control simplifications. Permanent indexes define the rigging positions of control surfaces and rigging pin positions are readily available. Its hard to believe the rudder trim is a cable control system thru the forward quadrant to a stabilizer trim and rudder ratio module back to the aft quadrant which controls the power control actuators. So it is not a full fly-by-wire system but a little of both fly-by-wire and hydraulic assist.

- So far there is no add on cruise kit from Ford, they did have them years back but it's been a few years and there's nothing for this one yet. What your considering is very cost restrictive that its easier to replace the car then add cruise control. Its a totally different wiring harness, and you would have to swap it out with all the other stuff you listed. Ford quit ordering the cruise control kit after 2004 so unless you swap it all from a wrecked car with cruise control then its not worth all the trouble.

- speedometer is controlled by a sensor located on the tranny, fix that and the dial should quit bouncing around. as for the vacuum leak, take soapy water and spray it around your intake manifold,any connections that penetrate the manifold and all accessories attached to it. then inspect all hoses that are vacuum related. also there could be a vacuum leak in the gas tank, some cars are equipped with sensors on the tank. also note that the speedometer may be cable controlled, in which case just replace the cable- easier said than done.

- Not only will it make the graphics better looking it will control the sound and sharpen all the text because it will all be in HD quality. However, if you don't have an HDTV then buying an HDMI cable will be useless to you as old TV's don't support HDMI.

- For the Z2, there's not really a difference. The Z2 isn't an amplified headset, so the talkback cable doesn't need to have chat volume control on it.

- No, that's not possible. There is more likely another reason the recorder is not taping what you selected. It may be out of recording space, or could not get a good enough signal from the satellite.

- Simply FYI, I work at autozone and i'm having problems with my 94 f150 e40d 351. Went and punched in automobile data, selected electronic odometer and it gave two dorman phase numbers that autozone cant get. Crossed the dorman phase quantity and it came again as a cable attatched VSS that we carried. Bought it received under the auto and are not able to in finding any side set up VSS on the tranny. Located the sensor on the rear diff and regarded for a velocity sensor to check it and got nothing. Then simply curious I regarded up ABS sensor and that used to be what was once on my rear diff. Single bolt bracket with a sensor tip that looks much like a torque bit. So does this abs sensor act as my VSS additionally?
