Q:HOw can i make my carpets look brand new and fresher like when it was new. i steam clean but it looks flat how can it look better

Q:My roommate spilled fruit punch on our carpet a month ago. Any idea how to get it out?
If it is strictly juice: pat the area with a clean damp rag with household ammonia 25% Hot Watter 75%. The rag you are using should rerung in the ammonia solution every few pats. Depending upon how much sunk into the carpet, you may soak the area and press real hard to get the liquid back out of the carpet backing and possibly even the padding. Once most of the liquid is removed then switch to a solution of OxyClean and very hot water. The stain needs to be soaked in the OxyClean solution for at least 10 minutes. Getting that liquid back up will require some kind of suction device like a shopvac. If it is a drink like Hawaiian punch: Skip the ammonia step and go straight for the OxyClean step above. Make sure the watter is as hot as possible. I boil mine then add the OxyClean, watch out it will foam up very fast when added to hot water. I use the cheap stuff from the dollar store, but the real stuff does dissolve better. The older the carpet the less likely you will be able to get the stain out. This is because the carpet fibers have been worn down and allow easier penetration of stains. If it was a large amount of liquid you may need a rug shampooer or shopvac to get up all of the liquid. The idea is to soak the area then remove the liquid, with the stain hopefully. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO GET ALL OF THE LIQUID OUT!!! THIS MAY BE VERY DEEP INTO THE PADDING. If you don't get out all of the liquid the stain may look gone when finished, but will mysteriously return weeks later after walking on that area. Also leaving a carpet damp may lead to mold problems. With the stain remaining in the carpet for a month to dry, the possibility of cutting a remnant from one area of the carpet and having it placed in the spotted area might be your only solution. Obviously this is done by a professional and will depend upon if you have an area of carpet that can replace the now stained area. QueryAll on the Internet
Q:I just dropped a candle on my light colored carpet and red candle wax is everywhere. Any ideas on how to remove it?
Use a brown paper lunch bag, put it over the wax and use an iron and the wax will soak into the paper....it works every time!
Q:I have a Palomino/Arab 2 Thoroughbred X Race Horses, We are in the process of having Stables built on the field which should be ready within 2 weeks. I feed the 3 of them twice a day, once in the mornings and remove the rugs, one in the afternoon/evening and replace the rugs. They have waterproof lightly insulated Castle rugs that seem to be keeping them warm but I can't help but worry about them. When they are in the Stables should I just use quilted Stable Rugs when it gets really Cold? What rugs/food do you suggest for different seasons for these type of horses. The Palomino is 1yr4months and around 14.3 with a good weight, the thoroughbreds are 6yrs old 15.2, 7 yrs old 16.1 with poor weight due to coming from the races I want to do my best to fatten them up and provide them with a calm lifestyle. Thanks Alot.
Im fortunate our dry cleanser has very great front load washing machines that take them quite properly. even although you may by no skill get them suited I wash them interior the favourite water attainable. i do no longer care approximately colour washing out. i prefer them clean. I additionally use the two a blanket cleanser or I only purchase the cleansing soap for toddlers that way it does not worsen their dermis next winter. yet earlier I take them I in lots of situations leave them over a fence in the time of the spring rain to assist wash as quite some the two factors. I in lots of situations rotate between enormous storms to scrub the two factors. I additionally do no longer prefer my care to sniff to undesirable. i admire horses yet my job demands taking human beings around in my automobile. only my 2 cents.
Q:I have a leopard gecko enclosure and i am wondering if it is better to have rug in the tank or calcium sand ... please no immature answers
You need to use a desert sand substrate.
Q:i want to knit or crochet a rectangular rug for my room not too big but not too small. ive looked on the internet but the ones i like are too hard and the rest are nothing but granny squares or look like over sized doilies =( please help me find classy yet kinda simple patterns.. pictures would help
One of the problems with substituting other yarn for rug yarn is that rug yarn is generally more resilient because you need to be able to walk on it, however, I have done some latch-hook work and have found that chunky 16 ply yarns are similar in thickness to 6 ply rug yarn and are therefore a reasonable substitute. 3 or 4 strands of knitting yarn may also give you a similar thickness and may work for you purposes but won't have the same resilience as proper rug yarn.
Q:What do you mean by the number and the needle step of the carpet?
Needle step multi pointer method refers to woven shapes, patterns. One side stitch, that is, one side of the pattern, the back of poor ornamental, similar to cross stitch, sweater on the back of the same; double needle step, positive and negative are the same effect. Can also be understood as the positive needle step, the reverse needle step stitch, the positive needle step weaving out, the front face is carpet front, and the reverse stitch after weaving out the reverse side of the carpet. The stitching is similar to the coordinates, such as eighth step needling at 20 cm position, Fifteenth step line at 3 cm position, stitch different number of different, so as to form different patterns.
Q:by 25 feet and the area of the rug is 160 square feet, how wide will the border be?
You could do this how the first poster did it, or this way: Define you variables: x is the width of the rug y is the length of the rug xy=160 x+12=y Substitute equation #2 into equation #1 x(x+12)=160 x?+12x-160=0 (x+20)(x-8)=0 x=8 (a negative answer wouldn't work because this is a word problem) xy=160 8y=160 y=20 25-20=5 13-8=5 Both leave 5ft, and since there are two 'widths' in the border, I divide by 2 2.5ft
Q:my mother in law is remodeling a house, and it has berber carpet int it. it is heavily soiled, but does not have the money in the budget to replace it. is there a carpet cleaning solution or homemade solution we can use...remember it is WHITE berber!
I also have a white-based berger carpet, mine has a bit of brown and tan mixed in the pattern. I have in the past rented a steam cleaner and now own an Oreck Carpet Cleaner. Both work really well on berber carpet.
Q:PLease help... i havent tried anything yet cuz i dont know if it will ruin the carpet or not.
Chip okorder . They may have to dye the carpet to cover the stain.
